We purchased a "flip" at the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic believing we would move in immediately. After spending more time in the house we realized quickly we needed to call in professional help. While many might balk at undertaking a home remodel during a pandemic - not Charmean and her staff. All work including selecting fabrics, wallpaper, carpets, window treatments, paint colors, lighting fixtures as well as building numerous custom pieces of furniture flowed seamlessly from start to completion. Additionally, Charmean connected us with an excellent contractor, painter, picture hanger and even a flawless mover. Charmean and her team are a joy to work with, competent, caring, available and seasoned. Charmean listened to our goals for the new home and this current stage in our lives and fulfilled each of our requests exactly. I wholeheartedly endorse CNI and am truly looking forward to our next project together.

And Karen, who was actually there and it was her, was so nice and told us about her store -the history of it, what she has where she got it..ect. So friendly and helpful! I absolutely love everything inside....it hard to leave without buying anything! I am sure we will be back to spruce up our new home soon! And everything is very reasonably priced -not over priced like a lot of places you go into with the same sort of items. Everything seemed so unique...not something you can find at your everyday walmart or meijer...but not horribly out of those walmart or meijer price ranges either. Wonderful! And there is a style to meet anyone's style...modern, country, chic...you name it. We'll be back!

Whatever that's fine... I found it odd the salesman wanted to show me sooo many options via text and only brought 2 to my house to look at it in person. I really liked one of the options though so it worked out. Scheduling was easy, the team was at our house on time to install, and were done in a couple hours. That said, I'm pretty confident in my assessment that the floors that were installed were not what I picked out. What I picked was very light, grey, almost concrete looking. What was installed was very dark and a lot of brown tones... it's like it's the same style but the wrong color was ordered. I mentioned this to both the project manager and the salesman, neither acknowledge me. For that reason I wouldn't use them again and unlikely to recommend to my family and friends.

When we decided to go ahead with the project, the entire team came to my house, plumbing, electrician, etc. to assure that what the designer had presented was all doable. Our designer, Dani, was excellent at accommodating all our wishes and our project manager, Ryan, was very thorough and communicative. The actual project was mostly completed while we were out of town, but through their app and texts, we received pictures and questions every step of the way. At the end, every minor detail was attended to and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. I highly recommend this company for your remodeling project!

I was impressed with his understanding of the chemical make up in the materials used and how the prep work is carried out. I got back with him 4 months later and scheduled for him to give us a quote while the drywall was going up. Long story short, he met my needs and worked with me on the timing. The crew (Luke, Pat and Damien) spent all day cleaning, sanding and applying the product. I came out several times to look and they answered my questions and explained what I was seeing. When they finished I was so excited at the beautiful garage floor! They even created a texture finish in areas as I was concerned about the floor being slippery when wet. I couldn't be more pleased! Friends all comment how great it looks. I'm thrilled with the product and finish and I highly recommend their company.

For our first project, Kristen walked through our home and listened to us talk about pain points and wishlist items. She took pictures and later came back to us with an extensive report detailing how we could better meet our design goals using colors, furniture placement, and even creative projects. I love that she incorporates feng shui into her plans so that not only does the space look better, it feels better too! Anytime I had a question about paint colors, hardware choices, etc. I could simply text her and get her advice. She truly provides an ongoing service allowing you to do your project on your time. For our color consultation, Kristen again walked through our new place and provided thoughts on color combos and how they best flow from room to room. We've gotten lots of compliments about our color choices and she made it so easy. The most amazing thing was that she helped coordinate with our flooring provider to ensure everything matches. To make a long story short I purchased an out of state investment property in Indianapolis…read more However, I was swindled by the seller and the properties were not as they appeared. I was stuck in a horrible position with the property management company I was working with and being out of state only made it worse. I searched for a contractor to help me get the properties fixed and rented out so I could finally make some income. I found a Val here on yelp and we began to communicate. Since the very beginning Val has been responsive, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, professional and attentive. He provided me with estimates for work that need to be done and we went forward. The properties were rehabbed thanks to Val and not only did it and there. Val went out of his way to meet with potential tenants to show them the properties during the day while he was working on other projects for other customers. He must've showed those properties to a couple dozen people and eventually he helped me decided on tenants. Val even helped me find a good lease agreement. Does it end there? Nope. Val continue to help me and get the lease agreement signed by the tenets. He mailed me lease agreements, first months rent and deposits through money orders in the mail. That's it's right? Again no. Doesn't end there. Soon after the property is rented out small issues came up with tenets mostly regarding the plumbing. Val was quick to show up to the properties and take care of the issues. Of course none of this was free, but was it worth what I paid. Absolutely. Now is this the end? No. After this experience with Val I have decided on one thing. I will continue to invest in properties in Indianapolis and I will only work with Val. He is a one stop shop and I know that working with him I will be OK. Val thank you my friend for all the work you have done for me. You are a great contractor but I consider you an even better friend now.

I contacted Val who immediately got back to me, did research on the property from the listing photos, and diagnosed the problem instantly. The next day, I got an estimate much less than another company's, and Val was continuously in contact with me at all times. We scheduled to do the gutter replacement about a week after the first conversation, and his crew arrived on time and got the work done without fuss. But here's the best part: not only did he look at the roof for me because I told him I was concerned about my inspection report's inadequacy, he surveyed almost everything on the exterior of my house. He identified roof issues, vent issues, pointed out rot, noted where things were installed cheaply, etc. He didn't pressure us into any work, he simply laid out the things my inspector should have caught, sent me pictures, and gave me advice for how and when to address some of the issues. He was honest in explaining much of this is on our dime. He was also frank in saying the inspector should give us the extent of the money laid out in the contract because he did such a poor job. He also was clear in that so long as I don't have stains on my ceiling, it wasn't an emergency, so I didn't feel pressured, I felt educated. I'm going to fix this house. I'm going to use Val to get it done. If I were you, I'd use him, too.
