Strategy rundown with Nick at one of the craps table.
Steve W.

If you're not already familiar with Casino Quest from their YouTube videos/shorts, this is a very unique place that'll give tourists and locals alike the opportunity to properly learn the popular casino table games with zero risk in a true and fun instruction-type environment (with real game tables, chips, etc.). Just about all the staff/instructors have a long history working in the gaming industry, and can give you the ABCs of not just your game(s) of choice, but are also open to answering just about any of your questions about the game(s), the gambling industry, the various casinos in the city, etc. They'll even allow you to book a time slot for you and your friends to practice your dice setting and throwing using one of their craps tables. Highly recommend that you drop by this location if you're in town. Nick, Alex, Nathan, Ronnie, David, and the rest of the crew there are all amazing guys, and they'll make sure that you're given the chance to learn the game(s) and leave with confidence before putting your hard-earned money down at the real tables.

Stopped in today to practice some practice craps tossing for 1 hour. Lucky to catch an open craps table all for myself. After my hour, I met Ron, the dice coach practicing. He has a really sweet parraxis toss. What was amazing was that he was practicing on his non-dominant hand! He showed me a couple techniques and tweeked my throw. I'll definitely need to stop by again. Manager and staff were great best $25 I ever spent!

If you don't want to drop a grand betting it all on black in a casino...when you don't know what that means yet, this place is perfect. For like twenty bucks an hour, you can try out most major gambling games. All betting is just for practice, so you can't win, but you can't lose either. I'm personally most interested in improving playing poker and that requires some scheduling because it is not always available. For games like roulette, that is pretty much always an option, any time they are open. Sometimes you get to play on tables with an interesting history and, if a table's story appeals, they'll generally sell it to you. I like that I can buy sparkling water there while playing as well. While teachers there have varied experience levels with different games, they are candid about their expertise and I find them all fun and likeable. I wish it were slightly more automatic to schedule poker on their web site, but the management is always helpful and accommodating for scheduling, just takes a little back and forth. And they do cheerfully take walk-ins for most games. They also have a pretty popular YouTube channel, if you are up in the middle of the night, when they are closed, and you just really need to know more about roulette strategies this instant. They shoot for the YouTube channel at both the tables here and a side room with a roundtable camera setup.

I visited Casino Quest on August 29th to meet Jeremy (of the YouTube channel Color Up) and play for a few hours. I had heard of it from his YouTube channel as well as Casino Quest's own channel. I was amazed at the variety of games they offer, and all for a single hourly rate. Granted, you don't actually win any money but it's a great way to hone your skills on a real craps, blackjack, roulette or baccarat table. I highly recommend it, especially if you're timid about gambling real money away at the casino. Tell Alex and David that Rudy sent you!

This is one of the newer hotels on the Strip (opened in June 2021) and this is an Asian-themed hotel as (1) the hotel tower does not include a 4th floor (4 is considered an unlucky number in many Asian countries) and (2) half of the food court options at Famous Foods Street Eats are Asian-inspired eateries. [Parking]: Self-parking at Resorts World Las Vegas = $21 flat rate for 24 hours. [Experience]: The District is basically the two-level luxury shopping area at Resorts World and honestly the retail shops were underwhelming. There is also a mini LED sphere at The District called The Globe. Our party came here to take pictures of the giant animated emoji of The Globe. While not everything is a hit at the food court (Famous Foods Street Eats), there are some food options that actually taste just as good as some of the Chinese food in Los Angeles like the noodles from Whu Zhang Artisan Noodles. [Ridesharing]: The front entrance of Resorts World offers Zoox which is the latest driverless ridesharing experience in Vegas. Riders will need to download the app to take a ride. [Conclusion]: Come here for the LED sphere inside the shopping mall and the variety of Asian food options at the food court.

Disappointing Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas…read more Our visit to Resorts World Las Vegas started off great, but unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse on October 10 at approximately 1pm near pool day club. A security guard approached our group and began questioning us, including one friend who was simply enjoying herself . The guard was questioning without clearly explaining what rule we had violated. The interaction made us feel singled out and harassed for no apparent reason. We calmly asked the guard why we were being approached and requested clarification, but he had no specify reason why . We were there to have fun, socialize, and enjoy our time together, yet we felt as though our group was being treated as a problem simply for being outgoing and bringing positive party energy. The way we were treated left us questioning whether our age, appearance, or skin color played a role in how we were perceived and approached. We were simply a group of working professionals looking to enjoy a night out. Instead, we felt targeted for behavior that did not appear to warrant that level of What made the experience worse was the feeling that Resorts World was more interested in catering to a younger crowd while overlooking guests like us. Regardless of age or background, every paying guest deserves to feel welcome, respected, and comfortable. It is especially frustrating to spend your hard-earned money at a resort only to feel unwelcome and unfairly targeted. This was one of the most disappointing experiences we've had in Las Vegas. Resorts World needs to take a closer look at how its security staff interact with guests and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of age, appearance, or race. No guest should have to feel profiled or harassed simply for enjoying themselves. We came to have a good time, and unfortunately, the way we were treated overshadowed our entire experience. Based on this visit, I would think twice before returning.

I've stayed at M Resort more times than I remember, including when the Chiefs played in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. M Resort and Kansas City's Argosy Casino share a rewards program. I've used food and casino offers at both properties, which gives me another reason to return. Check your offer details for eligible locations. I keep returning because I prefer staying away from the Strip. M Resort sits off Las Vegas Boulevard in Henderson, miles from the crowds. The airport shuttle is another perk. Schedule your ride in advance. The pool area hosts concerts with some great musical guests. Through the rewards program, I've also received offers for free tickets. For me, M Resort offers everything I want: views, warm weather, good food, a pool for relaxing, and a spacious room. My preference is the West Tower. I've seen the newer East Tower rooms. They're nice, but they give more Holiday Inn vibes compared with the experience I enjoy in the West Tower. The biggest difference is space. The West Tower rooms have deep soaking tubs, TV monitors in the bathroom mirrors, double vanities, separate showers, and enclosed toilet areas. They feel significantly larger than the newer rooms. The bathroom setup is a big reason I keep coming back! I've enjoyed the restaurants throughout the resort. There's enough variety to suit different tastes and budgets. The casino is clean and always active, too. M Resort has consistently delivered great stays for me. I recommend the West Tower if you want the spacious room and bathroom amenities described above. Choose the East Tower if those features matter less to you and you still want the resort perks. Chiefs gear encouraged for my Kansas City folks!

The hotel is huge, clean, and well-maintained. ALL employees were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Free parking is available throughout the property. The whole team stays here the night before every home game. As a result, you can see Raiders memorabilia throughout the hotel lobby. The slot machines were loose, and I needed to come home with a few dollars :) Tip: When you visit this resort and casino, be sure to sign up for the free rewards club. The parking was easy. I snagged a spot on P1 and was able to take an elevator to the 4th floor for check in. Although it seemed like it was super spread out for the event locations (floor 6, 4, 2), it was quite organized with plenty of people and signage visible to direct us. They had plenty of people to direct us to the proper locations and most of the people there were able to direct people on how to get to their rooms (go to the lobby area and find other elevators to go directly to each of the guest floors). It was a little confusing since the floors didn't directly connect. That and it was a bit of a hike to get around from place to place. Judging by the fact that it took quite a bit of time to get this place up and running from when they first started doing the construction, I'd say it was worth the wait. And although it was a bit of a walk to and from the room to the area of the conference, it was a nice hotel with plenty of the comforts of home. The staff (security and Fountainbleu personnel) were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely visit here again!

The summer stay-cation special for locals finally brought us in the door. Karalee at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The entire staff we encountered was very friendly for our two days. Our amazing and spacious room had a king size bed with a couch, and came with a small fridge and two complimentary little bottle waters! The bathroom and shower were fantastic. We had an awesome Strip view and view of the pool, however it was getting old hearing the constant thumping from Stadium Swim music all day long. It closes at 11pm, but crank it back up at 8am. We also did have minor issues in the room with the Alexa digital clock/radio. We dined at Barry's Prime Steakhouse, which was awesome, then enjoyed the views at Legacy Rooftop Lounge (but terrible service), and hung out at Stadium Swim. Please see my separate Yelp reviews. The property itself is modern and impressive, and I really wanted to enjoy the adults-only atmosphere. However, my biggest frustration was the sheer number of rules and restrictions. The irony of Circa is that you have to be an adult to enter, but once you're inside, it doesn't always feel like you're allowed to be one. For example, I was required to show my ID every single time I entered the hotel or casino, despite being a registered hotel guest. I understand the need to enforce the 21-and-over policy, but checking absolutely everyone every time seems excessive. Why not allow hotel guests to use their room keys for entry or focus ID checks on people who appear younger? It felt like the majority of guests were being inconvenienced to prevent a relatively small number of underage visitors from entering. The pool experience was another example. While the pool itself was wonderful, I couldn't bring my cannabis vape pen, and having a guest join me would have cost an additional $25, with no discounted rate for hotel guests. Even getting to the pool required navigating through the casino. Everything seemed to involve another rule, restriction, fee, or inconvenience. Individually, these might seem like minor complaints, but collectively they made the experience feel unnecessarily tedious. I understand that hotels and casinos need policies to maintain safety, security, and order. However, there's a difference between reasonable rules and making paying guests feel micromanaged. Circa is a beautiful property with excellent amenities, and I can absolutely see why people enjoy staying there. I just wish the overall guest experience matched the freedom and relaxation that an adults-only resort should offer. My biggest takeaway: Circa requires you to be an adult to enter, but doesn't always make you feel like you're being treated like one.
