I expect to be charged the correct price for my items. I expect my items not to be damaged by poor bagging skills. I do not expect to have to tell a grocery cashier what celery is. I do not expect to have to bag my own groceries because there is no staff. I have an unpleasant experience every time I shop at these stores. I feel this is an egregious lack of competency on the part of the store management. And given the current price of groceries, this is not acceptable.

Besides chicken they offer other hot food that varies from day to day. In the cold deli case they have potato salad, chicken salad, jello salad, cakes, pies, and multiple choices of food to go. One of my faves are the pecan coconut cookies which are baked there and not too soft or too crispy but chewy and delightful. But I am focusing too much on the Delicatessen but this store also has a handy assortment of hardware items and paint. The workers are nice and helpful too.
