Bangers and Chips

First, the negatives -- I could wish there were more gluten-free items on their menu. The restaurant is very open, and a group of loud women seated nearby detracted from the experience. That being said, I ordered the Bangers & Chips. The sausages were very good. Hubby ordered the Fish & Chips. He felt the dish was okay, but would probably not order it again. Our server was very good, and attentive without being over-present. The bar area seemed to have plenty of seating, and looked like a cozy place to have a drink & mingle. If you like the idea of an Irish pub, you might love the Celtic Table!

Last Saturday, we wanted to watch the Champions League soccer final - I called to ask if they had a TV for us to watch. They said absolutely come on over. We were the first ones in the restaurant and took over the beautiful bar area for the game. We enjoyed Guinness on tap along with Reuben egg rolls, melty Brie with fig jam, Reuben burger and Irish beans and Irish soda bread. The owner and staff were so welcoming and watched the game with us at times. They also have Sunday Irish brunch which we will be back for soon! Please support this business so they do well in the area!

First time customers. Kayla was our server and very welcoming, cheerful and helpful. I asked about their Water Lily drink and Kayla had great recommendations because she also happens to be the (great) bartender. We came because of Cashiers Burger Week. We had their Ruben Burger and OH. MY. GOODNESS. It was delicious! My drink was fantastic, it was a great blend of floral and citrus/lemon. We sat outside on a covered patio. It has great atmosphere and tables are spaced well. I'm very excited to come back when I return to Cashiers and definitely recommending it to friends and family!

Reuben Egg Rolls

I love discovering new places to eat, and the Celtic Table was an incredible find! We stopped in for lunch and ate outside in the covered breezeway. Absolutely beautiful and cool on a sunny July Day. Kayla, our server, knew about every dish on the menu. I had the Reuben egg rolls (it comes with four halves, but I ate two before I decided to take a pic!) and they were better than any I've ever tried. My husband had the Reuben burger sans bun and loved every bite. If you're looking for truly favorable food that is not the typical American menu, I strongly recommend The Celtic Table!

Fun family Irish eatery.

Fun and festive atmosphere. You feel immersed in the Celtic culture and it reminded me of my trip to the Cape. Food was tasty and plentiful. Drinks we had were delicious and fun. Stout Guinness beers for the guys and creative martini's for the ladies. Staff were great; attentive, accommodating, and served the food hot and fresh from the kitchen. Overall- terrific evening was had by all

If you live in , or are passing through Cashiers , NC , and you don't stop in this Pub for a bite to eat, or a drink, you are missing out. The owners ; Brian , who is a Wolfgang Puck associate , and Jackie , will make you make you feel Welcomed, and they will blow you away with the food. I could give you detailed descriptions of the cuisine, but just say, everything they prepare for their guests is with loving care.... Believe me. You must go , and enjoy!!

The outside patio.

The service was warm, inviting, and timely. The drinks were very tasty and the food delicious. You can tell there are locals at the bar which is usually a good sign. We will return the next time we are in town.

He thought the gravy was good, bangers were just ok and the bed of cabbage was way overcooked and mushy. He appreciates that they pull a good pint of Guinness. As locals, we will always return, but the place sorely needs a refresh. It feels tired, and somewhat uncared for. Paint and a deep cleaning, especially in the restrooms, would really be beneficial.

I ordered a Smithwick's ale and my wife got a Diet Coke. A waitress who spent a fair amount of time chit chatting with the table next to us while we waited, finally asked what we wanted for lunch. I love their corned beef and cabbage soup I ordered a bowl of that, and I ordered the fish sandwich with a side of zesty fried pickles and jalapeños, my wife ordered the traditional Fish and chips. 3 items right easy enough to remember? Took about 15 to 20 minutes for our food to come out the waitress set my wife's fish and chips in front of her. She set my fish sandwich in front of me, and said will there be anything else? I said yes please scratch the soup I ordered, the shocked look on her face said it all, "I'll go get it right now", um NO I wanted an appetizer, not soup and sandwich. 2 of 3 items The fish and chips were as good as they always are, however, the fish sandwich was below par and had a weird Spice in the batter that I didn't care for. I ate half of it and left the rest. my wife was full after eating one of the two pieces of fish so I finished off the other piece. The fries used to be steak cut, they used to be great. Now they went to some weird curly thin cut, which are easily overcooked. In my opinion the spicy pickles and jalapeños were dry and over fried. The bill came to $42, for which I would have left a 18% tip $7.5, divide that by 3 (items) I left $5 tip, 2 out of 3. I don't think we'll be coming back. So sad we used to love this place. But in this day and age, no one cares.

Instead of being turned away or treated like a burden, we were immediately welcomed and found a great spot upstairs with awesome views of the village. The food and drinks completely delivered. The beer was fantastic, and you could tell the bartender actually cared about the quality of the pour (you have to try the Blacksmith). We started with the soft pretzels and beer cheese (excellent), but the absolute standout was the Celtic Spice Bag for the entree. I can't recommend it enough--you have to try it. I've been to a lot of Irish pubs around the world, including plenty in Ireland. A lot of places think that slapping some Claddaghs, harps, and four-leaf clovers on the wall while blasting the same five pub songs we all know by heart is enough to make an Irish pub. Boudicca's has the decor and the music, sure, but that's not why we'll be coming back. When you walk into a real pub over on Salt Hill in Galway Bay, what actually makes the place special is the atmosphere. It's the genuine welcome from the people, the care behind the bar, and food that feels unique. Boudicca's captured that exact feeling right in the middle of Tennessee. The staff was fantastic, the vibe was perfect, and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended.

Being that I was dining alone, I decided to sit at the bar. From a corner of the bar, I had a clear view of the small stage where the band was performing. It seems like so many restaurants, bars and pubs in Asheville have local music, and this place definitely did not disappoint. The food was great. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the house-made buttermilk biscuit and cheddar stone-ground grits were delicious. The service was the only factor that kept me from giving a 5 star review. When I sat down at the bar, it took awhile for someone to greet me and take my order. After my order was taken, I waited a long time for the food. Overall, if you're looking for good food, a fun environment, and great live music, I would definitely suggest visiting Jack of the Wood in Asheville. Cheers

Will definitely be back again whenever I am in the Asheville area again.
