We were making our way from Fort Worth to Branson, and were about to pass through Eufaula when we…read moredecided to stop for lunch. My husband showed me a photo of the pizza and said, "How's this look?" "Looks good!" Eufaula is a nice little town with restaurants, shops, and typical small town businesses. There's even a Eufaula Museum across from Mama Tigs. We sat at the window facing the street. The table was made from a slice of a tree with the bark visible, but it was shellacked, of course. There were about a dozen options for pizza or you could create your own. There were some other menu options but we were there for the pizza. We chose number 5 ("The Erin") which had sliced meatballs and fire-roasted peppers (sweet not spicy). SO GOOD!! It reminded me of pizza we get from a Brooklyn Italian family-owned restaurant in our small town of Haslet. The cheese and the crust... We also got a side salad with house made ranch. This side salad had leafy mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, radishes (which my husband loved!), shredded carrots, and grape tomatoes. We almost missed dessert but decided to get a cannoli. It was delicious as well. Everything was simple and so tasty. The owner, or who I assume was the owner, was serving another table and asked if they were passing through. They live in Northwest Arkansas and Mama Tigs is their usual lunch spot (there are a few other locations). The owner said most people are visiting the nearby lake or passing through to Branson, when I said "That's what we're doing." We chatted a bit more with the owner and discovered they had lived in DFW at one time. Small world. Great place! Friendly staff! Excellent, wood-fired pizza! Be sure to stop in. It's far better than a drive-thru burger. (I didn't think to get photos of the food. I was focused on enjoying it.)

Overall Rating: 5 stars (O = good, X = bad)…read more 1. Atmosphere: O Atmosphere was nice, real cozy, got a nice family feel to it 2. Service: O Customer service was really pleasant, lady was nice and answered questions with pleasure. Will miss that lady 3. Food/Products: O I got a large Alfredo pasta with all the meat that came with two pieces of bread. Tastes great and the portion size was good. The wings are also freaking amazing and juicy 4. Pricing: O The large pasta with all the toppings I chose was only 10 dollars. I cannot overstate how fricking worth it this is and it still tastes great. The wings are decently priced but man they hit so good. 5. Overall Experience: O No brainer for this one, amazingly priced pasta, great hospitality, fantastic overall food items. Guys, pull up Highlights/Recommendations: I'll be very honest, I didn't get the pizza but I bet it's good. The pasta and wings are so good. I make love to that pasta

The family order of cheesy breadsticks is always a crowd favorite with our bunch!…read more Personal sized pizzas are awesome - so are the pastas and the sandwiches... it's all good! The service is always very friendly and they know us here by name. The kids have coloring sheets that they display for the kids to see when they come back. They clear the wall every few days. The only odd thing I note at this restaurant is the tea has an odd taste - but the Cokes are mixed with the perfect amount of carbonation! This is a great pizza/italian place and we recommend it for sure! Note that my kids eat "salads," (as they call them) with no lettuce! Haha.did I mention that this place is both comfortable and always clean?

I had Italian sausage Bolognese, and halfway through traded it for my friends wild mushroom pasta…read more Both were fantastic, and had rich creamy sauces. The sausage was pretty killer, a tad spicy. The mushroom pasta had a tinge of lemony zest to it. Morels were deliciously panfried in butter. My favorite was the to go order for a third person though: pistachio Alfredo, a similar sauce to the wild mushroom pasta but a bit nuttier. Zero complaints with the food, and i look forward to the owners new location (pizza Lotties) that will be opening soon i hear. This place is dangerously close to five star perfection, if only it were not so crowded (locals know whats up) and it's also a bit loud. The open air kitchen is a nice touch but probably doesn't help with the noise. Imo good food for decent value and would be worth the wait (you can enter into the waitlist online which i will certainly do next time and probably opt for patio seating if possible) All in all very satisfied. This place has a cool menu that seems to evolve and explore the culinary arts. (I love that someone thought to make a sausage/pasta dish with Korean gochujang) I look forward to partaking in many future gourmand adventures here made possible made by such creative kitchen-bound artists

Great food, abismal service. I genuinely can't even put it into words. I understand waiting a while…read morefor seats, what I don't understand is how takes 30 minutes to get us water. Couldn't tell you the servers name, but I can tell you I won't be back for that. Edit: To address your response, after waiting that long for water, I did go up and tell the person at the front desk. At which point, our server did come and check on us. She said that you all ran out of clean cups and got us water, but did not ask if we wanted other drinks, my brother had to quickly ask her to grab him a soda before she ran off, then she asked my sister and I if we wanted anything else. We put in our food order as well because we did not know how long it'd take her to come back. Thank God we did because it took forever for her to come check on us. We didn't get one refill, didn't get one "do you need anything." We watched her talk to who I assume was the manager about pre-closing, and watch her take phone orders. I get that she might be new, but there seemed to be no interest in taking our order or serving us. After we finished our food, we stacked our plates and waited for it another 30 minutes for the check. When we finally received it, I just walked up to the counter to get checked out because I was not going to give her my card and wait for another God knows how long. Appreciate the advice, but I did express frustration and was met with more frustration. Work on your training practices.
