The star was the marinara dipping sauce. I'm not one of those people that goes crazy over marinara. I take it or leave it but damn was it good! I'm ashamed to admit I might have finished what was left like it was a shot. Ordered a side of calamari too. Breading wasn't too heavy and had good seasoning. Came with the same marry me marinara. Wish I had ordered a pizza but although they might have fulfilled it I was already there minutes to close. Love this place. Wish it was closer. Staff genuinely nice and they deserve to be recognized. The sliced tomato lacked taste, which is a shame because this is the end of August and tomato plants are in peak production and flavor. This was our first time in Marty's and we do not plan on returning. Some of the reviews on this restaurant were positive so I hope this was an isolated incident.
