We ordered cheese breadsticks, small taco pizza, and medium Mobster pizza along with 2 small fountain drinks. I took off Italian sausage, pepperoni, and sausage on the Mobster. Considering I took off 3 meats I added extra beef on it, as it already came w/beef. I asked her if it was extra? She said it's only $1.00 extra, which I didn't understand because I was substituting 1 meat and took off 3 meats? I said fine whatever. I asked for a receipt, but I didn't look at it till I got home. Yeah, I got charged $1.85 for the beef! Really? Are you kidding me? It was $49.15 for 2 people by the time we left there. Talk about highway robbery! Outrageous! So as we were still eating the chairs start going up throughout the restaurant and around us. I felt like we were being closed in on and pushed out of there. I used the women's bathroom before leaving only to find it with no toilet paper, no hand soap, and no paper towels to dry my hands off! So it was a drip dry kind of night and experience if you know what I mean!

The waitress did a great job explaining and her recommendations were spot on! We started off with the bruschetta. It was very fresh and layered with flavors! We then ordered the Salsiccia Italiana (Mozzarella, Sausage, basil, olive oil, sea salt) and the Crepa (Mozzarella, bacon, basil, garlic, balsamic glaze, olive oil, sea salt). We both agreed the the Crepa was our favorite but they were both very good! The Italian sausage was very flavorful. We ate half of each pizza and saved room for dessert. Our waitress recommended the S'mores with added cookie dough. It was so yummy and worth the calories! We love supporting these type of specialty restaurants in St Joe. We will definitely be back!

Since they do not take reservations, we stopped by early hoping to get on a waitlist. The hostess was super helpful and gave us a realistic recommendation on the best time to return when we would have a fighting chance at getting seated together. Honest AND strategic... we appreciated that! Of course as the number in our party dropped it helped, just saying! Currently only the downstairs dining area is open, but once seated, service moved quickly and the food came out fast. We ordered ravioli appetizers that apparently entered the witness protection program and never made it to the table due to a communication mix-up. Honestly, I am blaming one of our table mates for that one and not the server. Now for the important part... the cheesy breadsticks were AMAZING. Like "everyone suddenly gets quiet at the table" amazing. We shared several pizzas, and while both that I tried were delicious, the Carnivore pizza definitely won my personal pizza championship over the Meet Me in Weston. Bonus points for the crust options available too! Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, and really good pizza. We will absolutely be back... but next time we are putting someone in charge of ravioli accountability. Even better if they would take reservations as very few restaurants in Weston do!

While I do consider myself a part of that subset, I prefer pizzas that use 00 flour and have crispy, aerated crusts with good bubble formation that has a slight chew to it, similar to ones fired in true brick ovens or commercial pizza ovens. For that reason, Nicky's was just okay for the price that it was. I probably wouldn't order from Nicky's again because there are so many other places like Tascio's or Northeast.
