We dined in, so the pizza was very fresh. It was good, classic Godfathers, with lots of toppings & cheese, with a decent sauce. That said, the crust is pretty thick (for my taste) and they have zero crust options. The people working there are polite enough but clearly would rather be anywhere else. Restaurant was fairly clean but needed attention - like they just should clean tables after someone leaves. read more

I placed an order Online around 7:50pm on a Saturday night. My pizza was estimated to be ready at 8:09pm. I went in around 8:15, it was not busy at all. I got my pizza and had a few slices when I got home. The pizza was delicious overall, it could have been a little bit more crispy-nothing an oven can't fix! Godfather's is one of my favorite pizza places, it's a bit nostalgia of my childhood. read more

No buffet since Covid. This really kind of sux because I used to love their buffet and got it often. I wish they'd get it back and going again. The positives...I DO love this Godfathers! They alway serve it up hot and when I order extra cheese they never skimp in it. They seriously give you what you expect. The prices are a bit steep (especially because I know how low the cost to make a pizza. In an edit I will now add that I just tried GAMBINOS pizza, they have a buffet. I absolutely loved it! There's one in auburn and one in Meriden they go until 2pm but I recommend going no later than 1:15pm. Sorry godfathers but you really should bring back your buffer even if it's only for two or three days a week. read more

I was worried about our order when some patrons in front of us were "given the wrong order & their pizza wasn't good" however our pizzas were cooked to perfection! It's been a long time since I've had a evenly cooked pizza & all of them were great! Taste & how they were cooked! Service was great too-we had a taco pizza, pepperoni pizza, cherry desert pizza & monkey bread-it was amazing & the best monkey bread I've ever had! Perfectly baked & just the right amount of icing. It was so soft & awesome. Thanks so much to whoever cooked our dinner Friday April 14th! read more

Godfathers Pizza - Shows the EPIC cinnamon monkey bread (there wasn't as much icing as it looks in the picture) - Pizza Near Me - Topeka, Kansas

Great service and pizza. I've been eating at this location since it opened. Their pizza has toppings on them that most others are lacking

I'm on a business trip and had a taste for pizza but had too many emails so I had to be delivered. Being from NY and Living in Chicago, I know good pizza. This pizza decent. I had a pepperoni and Italian sausage on the original crust. It had good cheese coverage, just the right amount of sauce and decent meat amounts. The crust is thicker than a thin crust but I like that. It also delivered 10 earlier than advised, 50 minutes vs 1 hr. $30 for a small that included the drivers tip. It is big enough for most appetites as I had a piece leftover. Overall, I'd order it again. read more

During my weekend trip to Topeka I was craving pizza, so I decided to order Godfather's Pizza through delivery. My pizza arrived hot and fresh. I ordered pepperoni pizza and added an additional meat topping. The pizza was delicious, if I visit Topeka again I will order Godfather's Pizza. I highly recommend this Godfather's Pizza location. read more

Godfathers Is by far my favorite chain pizza. I was super excited to see there was a Godfathers left in Topeka. I ordered a large 3 topping pizza for takeout-it cake with a side at no extra charge. I git the wedges. The pizza was still hot when I got home but it just wasn't a normal GFs pizza. The sauce was very heavy and every bite just seemed messy. The best part of GFs pizza is the crust combined with the cheese provides a solid well maintained bite. This one did not. I love their sauce too but I don't want it to overpower the toppings. The service was outstanding and the pizza was ready before the estimated time so that was great. I hoping it was just an off night because I will continue to order from here. read more

I've picked up pizza here 4 or 5 times in the last year. It's so expensive but the pizza is very good. We love their crust and the cinnamon streusel dessert pizza is so good. Occasionally we think it is a bit undercooked but for the most part we come home happy. read more

PROS: Good pizza! We ordered a large classic. I normally do not eat pizza crust but their crust was yummy. CONS: 1 large pizza with a drink was $25.99................................. YIKES!!!!! I could've gotten 2 pizzas for that price at other places. When we left we said "Thank you" to the staff... not a word from them. No thanks. read more

Poor Godfathers, one of the godfathers of pizza buffets in T-Town. Sad demise of a good place to take the fam on a Sunday. The brand new layout is just bad. The buffet looks sad, unlit, thrown together with old warming equipment. Salad bar is a weird like 4 deep serving area where you have to stretch over food to get to the back row, as an adult. Forget kids trying to get back there. The Sunday lunch buffet is so insanely priced, I can't justify going in their with the fam anymore. Staff is different every time we've gone, some are decent, some of don't care too much to to get pizza out to the buffet, clean tables, etc. Better pizza in Topeka, don't need to stuff my face with a buffet anyway, stay healthier that way :) End of a 'zza buffet for Topeka :( read more

Ordered a pizza online and waited 2 hours and it never arrived. I called the manager and he said he would refund my money. I walked out my front door this morning and there sets a pizza ...all night it sat there ...NO KNOCK WHAT SO EVER!!! So I am out $30 and a stale day old pizza. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN ... NO WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS! read more

I always go to Godfather's for Taco Pizza, it's the best I've found so far. However, I will now be looking for a new pizza place for my Taco Pizza. Nothing worse or upsets me more as a customer to special order something and it be completely ignored. And since it is a Taco Pizza not easily checked to ensure it was made as ordered. And yes I brought it to there attention and the girl behind the corner, after first paying more attention to a friend visiting the location, said "Oh sorry." Great customer service too. read more

We just placed a delivery order and dealt with a young lady named Makayla (sp) at the 17th st location . She has poor customer service skills and was very short with my mother and cut her off while she was confirming the delivery address. She also talked so fast it was diff to understand her . This is the type of behavior that keeps discourages you from doing business at some establishments. read more

Great pizza. The buffet is pretty good and always well stocked. Boneless wings are tasty.

I haven't eaten at a godfathers pizza in YEARS.. I guess it goes to show why you dont find many of these anymore.. The pizza was decent. Better than pizza hut thats for sure but just decent. read more

Some of the absolutely best pizza. They don't water down their sauce and it is delicious. They ever change it I am gone. Lol Epic Golden Crust it is a must try and they have Cheddar cheese! Best pizza. read more

I went to Godfather's last week. I've always loved Godfather's but this was the worst pizza I had ever had. I ordered a two topping pizza, which I always order. The girl said it would be done in 15 minutes. It was done, I think in maybe 10. I was shocked when I got home and took one bite. The sauce was terrible, as well as the crust. Don't know if they were just having a bad night or what, but it was the worst pizza I've ever had from Godfather's or anywhere else. Trying to decide whether to ever go back there or not. read more

Sorry but the menu sign clearly reads "gluten free" cheese, 1 topping, specialty. We were told we could only get all meat or classic combo. I couldn't even pay for extra cheese. Then in your women's bathroom the soap dispenser was broken and lying on its side, could barely get out soap. The staff was polite but I am upset that you didn't follow what your menu. read more

I always order from Godfathers. Great pizza! Great delivery drivers. Outstanding driver named Steve I regretfully under tipped. He had to drive through an area that had a road closed detour (Vitt Rd) area to get to my house. I had a phone call and other yapping at me at the same time so got distracted on the tip. Called back to Godfathers to get his name and will be dropping off some money for him soon. Thank you, Brenda read more

We used to love Godfather's Pizza. It was an every Friday night experience. Last weekend, we ordered two pizzas for delivery. One large combo and one medium 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese. The total was $43 with a coupon, which I thought was very high, but went ahead with my order. The delivery was quicker than quoted, but the pizza was not good. The medium pizza wasn't what we ordered. I also had asked for extra marinara sauce, but none was delivered. The delivery guy said that they hadn't included any with the order. My grandkids were over and they said it was the worst pizza ever. Sorely disappointed! And, no...I didn't call and complain. I was tired, it had a been a long day and I was just done with it. We won't be ordering from Godfather's again. read more

I used to really like Godfathers pizza. I went there recently and have never been more disappointed in a restaurant. I ordered off their Delite menu and only wanted a personal but this pizza is only available in a medium or larger, so I opted for the medium. I also purchased a soda while waiting. I tried the Dr. Pepper and mentioned to the staff that it didn't taste right and one of the other employees told me to go for either Cheery Coke or Sprite because they're the only good ones, so I did. Still didn't taste "right." Then I got my pizza and I was exciting try this new line, ordered the spinach, black olive and tomato (forgot what the name of it is). Went to my car and then I couldn't wait, tried a bite and...I spit it out! It was the worst pizza I've ever tried! Horrible! I couldn't believe how bad it was. I wouldn't feed that to anyone or anything. I am not aggressive so it took me a bit to work up the nerve to complain, but I walked back inside and told the gentleman (& he was nice) about the poor pizza - the spinach was canned and slopped atop my pizza making it that much more undesirable. This was bad, bad, bad. I politely explained that to the gentleman who jus blankly stared at me and finally said "sorry ma'am". I returned the entire pizza minus my regurgitated bite with my receipt (idk why I did that) and was not offered any type of compensation, nothing at all, no free drink, no let's exchange it for something else so you give us another try, nada! I'm dumbfounded and disappointed in a restaurant that I grew up loving. Good riddance GodfathersI gave one star just because the employee was polite even if he didn't offer any compensation. read more
