Occasion: Got a pizza and some cookies delivered while in town for a conference Found myself in hungry in Topeka and it was a bit late, so decided to try using Grubhub to order from these folks. Delivery experience worked well and the pizza/cookies didn't seem to suffer from the trip. Got a taco pizza - flavor was nice and it was topped with the expected stuff and arrived with the expected sour cream and salsa toppings. It was really yummy - the toppings didn't suffer at all from the delivery experience - lettuce/pico was fresh and the chips were nice and crunchy still. The crust was a good vehicle for the toppings too. Let's move on to cookies - we tried a monster and a chocolate chip. Both cookies would have been big enough to share, but I'm glad we didn't know that LOL. The monster cookie was the standout here, but chocolate chip is never a bad choice. When I find myself in Topeka craving a taco pizza again, I'd be happy to reorder. Would I recommend? YES Would I revisit? YES read more

I had my first experience with Doughboyz Pizzeria yesterday. They have opened a restaurant at Westridge Mall. I'm not usually a fan of thin crust -- but their Pepperoni Pizza was the best I have ever had. I also order cheese bread which was outstanding. Concerning pizza, you can only choose two of three options - Fast, Cheap, and Good. You can never choose three. For the size of pizzas you can purchase, it ain't cheap BUT it is fast and it is GOOD. We got the Slaughterhouse and a pepperoni pizza as well as come awesome cheese sticks. These guys know how to make some good pizza and I would highly recommend trying Doughboyz. I personally liked the topping to crust ratio as the crust is thin. Excellent flavor and great atmosphere for this place. They've obviously put a lot of hard work and care into this business. This is a great place to go for pizza. The staff is friendly and the pIzza is amazing. These folks are not afraid to add on the cheese and toppings and they are reasonably priced. Even if you live in south topeka its worth driving north to go there. So glad to have another small business in Topeka. read more

Our new go to pizza place in Topeka! Our 4 year old doesn't tend to eat pizza very well, so we picked up cheesey bread and a cinnamon dessert pizza as well in hopes he would like one of them. The pics of their pizza looked amazing and since they are a new business I decided they were the one. Placed my order online and 1.5 hours later when I got off I walked in and they were just taking it out of the oven so it was nice and hot. This was one heavy pizza! Lots of cheese, lots of meat. So I came in late afternoon with my sister and we each got a small pizza, first came out pretty quickly. And I kept waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for almost an hour for mine to come. I think they had to redo it twice for some reasons but it would've been nice if they Would have given me a discount or free coupons to make sure I would come back again but they did nothing. I keep trying this place after so many negative experiences. Still, doughy, undercooked and sloppy pizza. Again, one bite everyone knows the rules. Greasy, floppy, and the owner doesnt give a flying F. The manager doesnt either. When i asked for well done, they said idk how to do that without it leaving bubbles on the crust. Was super stoked to try this place out but wasn't impressed. Our pizza wasn't even cooked all the way and was super doughy, we didn't eat it. Side salads were pretty tiny but cheap so worth it. Lady forgot our dressing, not a big deal but we were one of two couples in the whole place. Drinks were good from fountain. It was super cold inside, not sure if there was an issue with the heater or? We didn't stick around. Not to mention a 12in pizza, two drinks and two little salads were over $30. We like to try local businesses when we travel. Found Doughboys on Yelp and so glad we did. The pizza was delicious!. The thin crust was crisp and the toppings plentiful. Couldn't tell you what their food tastes like...after calling in an order and waiting 1 hr 15 minutes for it (was told it would be 30 minutes) and calling once to confirm it was on its way; I called again and was told my order was cancelled because the driver couldn't find the address (I provided an address and told them it was the Ramada downtown), and when he tried to call the person who answered allegedly said they didn't order pizza so they cancelled the order. Verified the number was my cell number that was sitting with me the whole time. When I asked what they were going to do to make it right, I was accused of providing false information and told they'd have to re-start my order, and was ultimately hung up on. read more

Revisited Doughboyz for a second time. Much better experience as far as having staff explain how to order. Grab a menu at front counter pick a seat and come back up to front counter to order. Ordered our pizza and brought to table very fast. Crust was nice and crisp plenty of fresh toppings. Crust has a nice garlic taste to it, which I was fine with but may not be everyone's thing. Atmosphere is great and all things very clean. Free refills on fountain drinks self serve. I will definitely visit again. Great to see North Topeka add some new dinning options. read more

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I would say a tie between THE BEST. A group of us got the Supreme, Chicken Bacon Alfredo, Canadian Bacon with Pineapple, and Italian Sausage with Jalapeno. I am hurting from pigging out so bad but it was so good and so worth it and I have no regrets. I'm telling everybody about this place. They don't skimp on their pizza toplings. Excellent quality.
