The sauce had a hint of pineapple with enough spice to keep me interested. My husband was shocked that I'd even try them and said the chef must've known I was gonna be a hard sell. The Italian Sandwich was simply right. The ratio of meat and veggies was second to none and the bread was fresh. I'm glad I remembered to take a picture before it was gone! The bacon cheeseburger pizza made my husband very happy. The dough was spot on and the toppings were cooked to accent the dough. It was the topic of conversation on the way home:). It was extremely soggy yet at the same time the meat tasted dry. The peppers and onions, normally the afterthought in a Philly, provided a sweet, fresh flavor and were the best part of the sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwich left me with a grainy aftertaste. The quality and flavor of the meat gives me hope that I won't be disappointed when I try the pizza and barbecue at Jay's next time!
