There are places you eat, and then there are places that become part of your story--and Leo's is…read moreexactly that for me. I've been coming here since I was a little kid, back when Leo himself was still behind it all. There was something special about walking in then, and somehow, that feeling hasn't changed. It's rare to find a place that holds onto its soul like this. And the pizza... I don't even know how to fully explain it, but if you know, you know. The cheese is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else. It has this unforgettable texture--perfectly gooey, rich, and somehow it sticks to the roof of your mouth in the best possible way. It's not just cheese, it's an experience. Every bite is layered with flavor that you can't quite put into words, but you crave long after you leave. This isn't trendy pizza. It's not trying to be anything other than what it's always been--authentic, nostalgic, and absolutely delicious. Leo's isn't just a restaurant to me. It's memories, it's tradition, and it's still one of the best slices you'll ever have. Forever a fan.

I wanted to add some detail, so that newcomers would know how awesome this place is…read more I've never been inside, but I can see their pizza line from the drive-through. They have premade pizzas that they cut into big generous slices, and those slices are warmed up in their giant pizza oven before they're boxed up to go. So you can order pizza by the slice, or have them make you your own pizza. One thing that's awesome is that you can choose thick crust or hand tossed crust, and standard toppings, and you don't need to have 2 slices of the same thing! I like both of their crusts equally, so I will often get a thin crust and a thick crust, both with Canadian bacon and pineapple. They have Pepsi products on tap and it's about $10 for two slices of pizza, hot and fresh and a large diet Pepsi. They have amazing salads. What's great about it is that you can take it to go and eat half for lunch and have half later. They are gigantic again. All of the food is fresh. You can tell that they slice all the ingredients there in their store, these are handcrafted. They have a lot of indoor seating, and I see people there all the time. The driveway to get to their parking lot is rather steep. But when you pull off of 7-highway, just go slow and there is plenty of parking. The drive-through is in the back and they will have you pull forward to the window which is on the side of the building. Just turn off your car and wait patiently, they are preparing your food fresh for you. Their staffing is very consistent and I can tell you they enjoy making pizzas!

Been wanting to try Southside Mafia Pizza. Discovered by Door Dash browsing months ago. When I…read morefinally checked Yelp, was intrigued by the reviews. Liked the menu, especially the well priced options to add toppings. All pizza places have such options, but liked Southside's menu structure & organization. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza with different extra toppings on the two sides to try a variety of offerings. It arrived by Door Dash 45min later. It was still hot and the extra cheeses were melted. The crust was favorable with a nice chew. The pepperoni was evenly spread & was good tasting. Each of the added toppings were also good. Between the extra mozzarella & extra provolone cheeses, liked the provolone better. All in all, liked the pizza. After trying them couple more times, Southside may get up to 5 stars.

The restaurant we planned to try was just too busy so we decided to walk around and just see what we find. We ran across Pizza Shuttle. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the pizza. I appreciated the cool, comfortable vibe too. They seemed to have not only a steady walk in crowd but it seemed they were really busy with deliveries! They were still really nice. Took our order quickly and we didn't have to wait very long for our pizza. They still apologized for the wait. We weren't looking for a big meal so we got the walk in special which was a 10' 1 topping pizza and a drink. We added an extra topping but still only spent less than $14 for both of us including a tip! I particularly liked their crust and they didn't skimp on the cheese and toppings! If you are eating in, you get free refills on your drink. They had a larger size pie and some really yummy sounding combinations I'd like to try when I'm back in the area. I snapped a pic of the menu board. I need to try the cream cheese based on the info I gained from other reviews! It's in an old building but it was clean and had a fun vibe. Some cool murals on the walls (I wish I had gotten a better pic than just my selfie. lol). I enjoyed the pizza so much that I asked how far the delivery area was. The guy working up front said it was a decent size area but they didn't deliver into Kansas. BUT, he said they are opening their Overland Park, KS Pizza Shuttle back up in a new location in OP. They hope to have it up and running by the end of this year! If you are in the area and want yummy pizza at a reason price, I love this place and I'm really happy and excited for their return to OP in the near future!
