I booked an appointment with a stylist (who recently did everyone's hair at my wedding) for a balayage with the understanding that it would be a CARAMEL color due to the box color build up in my brown hair. What I did not pay for, however, was copper and bronze highlights that looked nothing like the consultation that took place. In addition to the sub par attempt at a balayage, I was charged for services that were not discussed OR brought to my attention prior to execution. It was only until I questioned why my bill was $266 that I discovered a bond builder and glaze was necessary to achieve the penny-colored highlights I received... I wouldn't have been as upset had the stylist asked me before she performed additional services, but I do have a problem with making a decision and making me pay for services without discussing it with the client. I find it absolutely appalling at the response from the manager via email when I stated I wasn't happy with my hair. To say I was berated would be a gross understatement, but I'd like to warn the next person in case they aren't happy with their services and feel the need to bring it up to the manager. Please see the attached photos of the email from the manager, Sasha, in response to my criticism of a disastrous balayage and questionable charges. Upon walking in, the woman working was super friendly and informative about their packages, but not pushy, which I appreciated. Everything was super clean as well. They only have beds for level 1, which I was a little bummed about. I wanted to tan my legs, so I went with the bed anyways. I've been tanning on and off for about 10 years now, and this was the oldest bed I have ever seen. It was well maintained, and maybe would have been okay for personal use in a home or something, but if you're going to charge people to use equipment, it shouldn't be so outdated. Anyways.. I paid the $10, laid in the claustrophobic bed with no fan for 15 minutes, and left sweaty and still pale. If this review was based purely on customer service, it'd be 5 stars. Unfortunately, I won't be back due to the outdated equipment.
