Small to go or sit outside place. In the " winter " , I'd definitely plan to sit outside…read more The staff was very pleasant and easy going. They had all kinds of French baked items that looked delicious. I got a hot vanilla latte, it was good. I got my friend the morning melt breakfast sandwich, he said it was sooo good. I was scared because I was concerned the combination of flavors would be too " fancy " for him . But , nope he really loved it . I also purchased a chocolate croissant which I've never had, two macrons chocolate and a macaroon none of which I've eaten yet but, look beautiful Ate the chocolate croissant, first one I'd ever had ...delicious. The macaroon was good and the chocolate macrons was close your eyes amazing. I wish I didn't like macrons

I was addicted to the chocolate fudge cookies that were a chocolate cookie with chocolate meringue folded into it. For the same price, the meringue is gone, the butter and sugar are not creamed together sufficiently, and the dry ingredients are only mixed to a rocky consistency. The chocolate stays separate and the cookie is greasy, difficult to handle and doesn't taste very good. It is not made with love, nor was it mixed properly. The croissants are great just do not order any meringue products or the basque cheesecake. Not putting enough batter, temp too high and result a dried piece of paper with a hint of what once was. Thought of returning the cookies, but too sad

Came here for a sweet treat and walked out with a quiche and a sweet treat…read more They have so many great and beautiful looking options it made it hard to choose. I picked a raspberry tart, which absolutely beautiful and delicious! I also picked the bacon and mushroom quiche, which was also delicious! Service was quick and easy! Parking was limited out front but there is a side street with parking as well. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Well third time wasn't the charm. We tried 2 times driving from Tampa. First time it was closed and…read moresecond they were closing early and stop serving. It wasn't bad but also disappointingly not great food wise. Service was pleasant and they brought items out quickly since it wasn't real busy on a Saturday lunchtime. Parking up front was easy. Staff was nice and friendly. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Quiche with bacon mushrooms was just ok. Lacked seasoning, richness and depth of flavor. Not bad but not great. The pressed pâté panini with cornichons had a crunch and iceberg lettuce. The croissants missed the laminated butter pastry taste and flakiness. The raspberry beignet wasn't overly sweet but tasted more bready than donut beignet. After that, we still ordered a lemon sugar crepe that missed the mark. It leaned more savory undertones without the lightness, tart and sweetness. More meh. I tried adding more sugar. Was it the lemon in the jar instead of fresh squeezed? The batter? The whipped cream didn't help. Oh well, we tried. All in all folks seem to like it, but I wouldn't really say it's a Parisian cafe or a patisserie that I'd make a long drive. If you haven't had a great French bakery or staying in Pinellas or just want some for the beach, it's great. We were disappointed by expecting more than it was. Unfortunately.

They may be known for cheesecake, but they have a wonderful weekend breakfast. It's really…read moredifficult to find places that make corned beef hash that they make themselves and is flavorful with corned beef seasonings. I'm always looking for a good place for corned beef hash that is homemade. They also were not stingy with the amount of meat for the hash. The eggs were perfectly cooked. I ordered pumpernickel toast and it came perfectly toasted and buttered. They also use premium jam, Dickinson's red raspberry jam in a little jar. It was a nice touch. To drink I had an iced chai latte. I do not know of many places that actually brew it from scratch with chai tea leaves and spices. My husband tasted it and thought it was as good as what you would get in an Indian tea stall. It does not have any sweetener in it, but has lots of flavor. It was brewed just the way we like it. I don't like places that use sweetened chai concentrate. So be patient while they brew it fresh for you. We also ordered French toast, which was challah bread that had been soaked to give that custard flavor and feel. They also put a little bit of butter on top of the French toast, which adds a nice salty creamy flavor. We were surprised that they were not super busy for breakfast. I would highly suggest trying this place for a wonderful breakfast treat.

A charming little cheesecake spot in lovely Safety Harbor. I ordered a black cold brew after asking…read moreif it's made in house. They said it is and despite it being $7 it was promptly brought out in a styrofoam cup like one might get from a gas station. What was contained in said cup was what can only be described as a simulacrum of a vanilla and coconut scented candle. It was explained to me that the cold brew was in fact Joffrey's mix and it's Jamaican Me Crazy Flavored. The drink was disposed of. No refund was offered. Had no appetite for cheesecake at that point. Our other drink was served hot instead of iced. Nice outdoor seating. Update to respond to owner- Wow, I appreciate your response but it was not quite "accurate" itself. When I took the cold brew inside to ask about what I was served and was informed that it was not made in house as I was told, and that it was flavored (specifically not what I had requested) I explained I couldn't drink it and asked what could be done. They said "at this point nothing." I think dropped the drink in the trash in front of them. I returned outside, wrote my review, and told the people I was with. My 13 year old niece who I was visiting said "that's insane, I'm going to go get your refund." And sure enough they did! But my review had been written. According to her your staff was not at all accommodating about the refund, but they did provide it. Also, as for etiquette concerns for the party I was visiting family and friends that were already on your patio. I can't vouch for how long they were there or what they did or did not receive. So to recap- I came in with my sister, we ordered 2 drinks. Both were wrong. One was fixed and the other was disposed of. There was a refund after the fact but not to me.
