Every time my family comes to visit they ask if we can get Roscoes, and I just can't say no. The amount of melty cheese is the perfect crust to cheese ratio, and they don't skimp on toppings. I also love that the sauce sits perfectly on top of the cheese because the crust doesn't soak it all up like normal pizzas to the point where you're missing that tomatoey goodness. Ah, perfection.

The toppings were mediocre, and there were so few of them that I had to hunt for them. For what they charge, that's unacceptable. The trouble started before the pizza did. The person taking phone orders was painfully inefficient, and a simple order turned into a frustrating ordeal. After that came a long wait, and all it got me was an overpriced, underwhelming pizza. Premium prices should mean a premium product. What I got was a raw crust, skimpy toppings and poor service. Marion has plenty of better pizza places, so go to one of them instead.

I remember their pan crust pizzas being really greasy back in the day, but on this visit the pizzas weren't greasy at all. I probably wouldn't have minded the grease, but certainly didn't need it! Pizzas were tasty. Downside: super pricey. Probably the most expensive 'chain' pizza place in town. Ordering from here is a special occasion thing. FYI: This is a pick-up/delivery location only. My margarita had a good flavor but I tasted no tequila or triple sec in it, I ordered a second one, same thing. We ordered food as well, my friend ordered a quesadilla which looked good and was good according to him. I ordered a lasagna and was not impressed - the temperature was slightly less than the surface of the sun, the marinara sauce had too much sugar in it (like Filipino spaghetti sauce), the portion size was small (I ate again later that night), and for it being lasagna, it had one lasagna noodle in it. I've had a similar dish in Napa, CA with similar results. I wasn't impressed, not in Napa, not here. Not sure where they got their lasagna recipe from but it needs to go back and stay there. The "cheese bread" on the side was disappointing as well. It was essentially dry French bread with pepperjack cheese melted on it. If you're going to do that, at least put some butter on it and grill it, otherwise it's a bland, tasteless side mess, which it was. I usually have a mixed drink and their pizza and have yet to be disappointed, so next time, that's what I'll do. Avoid the lasagna or whatever it is they call lasagna. As far as the bar itself is concerned? I love the retro look and feel of the place, always have, always will. This time though, there were A LOT of kids there - must've had some sort of special going on. It wasn't loud or obnoxious or kids running everywhere while we there, I've just never seen that many kids there before. No biggie.
