During the 80's massive amount of drug use in the restrooms and Pot smoking outside. I'm a old man now and a young south American crowd has took over. The employees. The place has the tiki vibe but the heart was ripped out when they hired a group of people who don't have that spirit of what tiki is about. To me it represents a way of life focused on kindness, unity, humility, patience, and mutual regard. It felt more exclusionary and lack of kindness almost an irritation to be in the service industry. I do hope great things for the owner in the future because he did have something special there. Wish his vision was seen by the employees.

They had a signer come in and preform. The locals were great as well. They spoke about Detroit and the people in the area. They said they are a close community. The staff agreed and were great. They made sure to come over and ask if everything was okay, they were very popular with the patrons. I would definitely go back. I want to hear more about the city from good people.
