I went to get my eyebrows threaded and it wasn't until I had already sat down I realized my threading artist was full blown sick. I could physically hear the snot in her nose, she was breathing through her mouth and I could feel her breathing on me the whole time, and every time she turned away she started coughing. I've never had an experience getting my eyebrows done where I got nauseas. She had a mask on, but when someone is that close to your face, it doesn't matter. I could still feel her breathing on me. Unfortunately, I ended up getting super sick just a few days later. Pretty sure that's not just a coincidence. PRIME IBROW: DON'T LET YOUR ARTISTS COME INTO WORK SICK. We booked the appointment but she would not answer my questions. I kept repeating myself asking how much the price would be for a brow lamination and tint, as a response she kept saying "thank you, we will see you soon" that was so frustrating, i just hung up. I did walk in and got checked in. Sam sat me the chair immediately. She did not perform a consultation at all! I work in the beauty industry for a living for over 4 years now, for EVERY new client or new appointment you should ALWAYS perform a consultation. The lamination burnt me which i would assume its normal but I noticed an open wound on my arch after the service which is not normal. Sam also did not consult with me what color I wanted or what shape I wanted, when i asked what she was applying or what shape we were creating she told me a certain brown and kept telling me not to worry about it. Kept dismissing me. As the service comes to an end, my brows are so black, and my lamination is so uneven. I came here to relax after a hard day but this ended up being the cherry on top of it. I honestly should've left, I didnt want to pay, i was so devastated with how terrible my brows looked. After I came home i was crying. I called after asking for my brows to be fixed by a different person, they refused saying it would only damage more of my hairs, understandable. When I asked for a refund at least they told me no. And said they would give my information to the owner. Now Im personally representing Nike on my face and i dont know how long i will have to look like this for. Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability. - I'd like to clarify the sequence of events, as the version shared in your response doesn't accurately reflect what happened. I had a lash lift 8 weeks ago not "a few" which, based on previous communication from your studio, is within the standard timeframe. The technician only asked about my prior treatment after I was already lying down on the table. I came in without an appointment and asked if I could do a consultation. She let me know there was already one in the system, so I explained I just wanted to go over what happened last time. She listened and responded, "We can do your lashes today." At no point was I advised to wait or postpone the treatment. With this being the second time I've experienced lash damage here, I'm concerned about the pattern of placing responsibility back on the client. I've also reached out via Instagram, since your emails are bouncing--happy to continue the conversation there and work toward a resolution. -- This review is for their lash lifts. I've been to this studio three times. The first time was amazing. Kayla (who I don't believe works there anymore) gave me the best lash lift I've ever had. The second time, I forgot to select a specific tech and ended up with someone who completely damaged my lashes. They were frazzled, bent, and over-processed. When I gave feedback, I was told it was bec of my eye shape which felt like an odd way to deflect responsibility. Thankfully, Kayla was able to fix it a few days later. A year later, I decided to give the studio one more try after seeing they now had a "master lash artist." Honestly, I came back because it's the closest one to me and I was hoping things had improved. I even came in ahead of time to explain what happened previously to make sure it doesn't happen again. She was kind and seemed to listen, but the overall result looked messy and uneven. She asked if I liked it, and I honestly wasn't sure how to respond. It didn't look right, but I also wanted to give it time to settle. I said I'd wait it out since she reassured me I could come back, but realistically, a service like this should be done right the first time. This is the only lash place I've ever had to return to for a fix. Normally, you get the service once and it's done correctly. The studio is clean and the staff are nice, but the inconsistency and lack of quality control are unacceptable.
