But this year I decided that I would overcome this fear and that's when I met Diogo!! He is very patient and made me feel comfortable and safe since my first lesson. It is very easy to understand the instructions and when I don't get something, he demonstrates even if it is a simple movement. In classes we always train different movements so it is not monotonous or tiring. By the second lesson I could already float and move in the pool. And the progress I've seen in 3 weeks is unbelievable. Now I can say that I really enjoy when I'm into the water!! Thank you so much, Diogo!!

We booked our first lesson after pandemic for my daughters on that snow storm day, Vancouver traffic was a mass, the road to that Port Coquitlam pool was unreachable, there's a narrow curvy and very steep road leading to that pool, and cars and trucks are sliding down hill. Propel must known that since it's their location, but there was NO way to contact Propel or the instructor throughout the day. When they finally get back to me many days later they said they're just a platform, so they don't care about anything, students and instructor safety are not their concern, as long as they're getting their share of the fee. Training with Harris was hands down one of the best experiences ever, and I'm glad I took that leap…read moreof faith to try out personal training as initially I was uncertain and scared to give it a shot. Harris has been extremely approachable, which made me feel comfortable in sharing my insecurities and what I wanted to work on. He would often encourage me and keep me on track with my goals, and it really motivates you to know that someone is watching over you, caring for your progress and being with you throughout your fitness journey. Every session he would challenge me to push a little harder, which made me realize I was becoming stronger than I thought. Even as I work out on my own time, I've developed the habit of pushing myself a bit more everytime I felt like things were getting easy, and this is all thanks to Harris. Not only am I excited to continue my fitness journey with Harris, but I also know that I've made a lifelong friend. I really encourage you to reach out to Harris, and I know without a doubt he'll be able to support you in your fitness goals, just like he did with me! With his help, during this quarantine I was able to lose the 15+ lbs that I gained, and it's in a way that's very enjoyable and sustainable - I think that's super important. He's helped me find a way that works for me and I'm super stoked to continue my new and active lifestyle! Kudos to Harris for being the awesome trainer he is!
