Next, Landyn showed up the next morning with bells on ready to go. He tried opening my drain with no luck. Told me I'd need a major repair. $10,600 for a new liner . That hit hard. BUT, Landyn was able to get me financed for $9055! The boss decided that was good enough; waived the rest and scheduled my appt. for the very next day! 9:00am the whole crew showed up! 5 of the most professional, well mannered, hardest working men I've seen in a long time! These guys were The Best!!! The boys went to work. About 30 minutes in they discovered that because my house was over 100 years old it had what is known as a "house trap". They could not run the new liner through a house trap. The house trap would need to be dug up and replaced. (Mind you this was not part of my $9000 repair. This wall all extra.) I waited a bit as they told me the boss was on his way. In my experience this meant one thing: he was coming to explain to me this was going to cost more money! WRONG!! Boss shows up (Nice guy as well!) and tells me; we will be having words with Landyn but if we gotta dig it up, we'll get the boys to digging. The phrase I kept hearing from these guys was "The price is the price". Integrity is the word that comes to mind. So, the boys started digging. These guys dug a hole 9 feet deep that was not part of the deal; took them the better part of a day! My bill never changed; there was no discussion of it changing. Blew my mind. Long story short: House trap removed. New pipe and liner installed. Everything was cleaned up and after it rained you can't tell they were ever here. I cannot speak highly enough for this place. Service Professor has my business. Thanks Darryl

After he left, a leak sprung in our basement, which we figured out only happens when that same sink is used. We had to shop vac and clean the basement and I called the next morning. So of course he starts saying its not his fault and there is nothing he can do. I call the business and they say they can have their manager call me in ONE TO TWO BUSINESS DAYS. I tell them that is unacceptable, I need a supervisor out here tomorrow. They say they can send someone out but it'll be an entirely new charge. Stay away from the business. They are cheats and only want to create new problems so they can upcharge you.

One week after " completing" the job, I had electrical failures upstairs. They came back corrected their mistake. Second week during a renovation project the builder discovered the old nob and tube wiring they said they removed was still intact and ACTIVE! Whitney came back out a second time and took care of the issue. Third week I went into the basement and discovered they had taken out all the light socket and electrical switches and didn't replace any of them. Five in total. In addition the " boss" adamantly said to take care of each of those three problems it would cost extra. Thank goodness I had a contract. emEnd if discussion. My son, had a very similar issue not knowing it was Whitney that I hired. Whitney sent out a plumber to fix a Clogged drain. My son used a plumbers snake and a few other things to remedy the problem clog to no avail. when the plumber from Whitney came, my son showed him where the clog was. Plumber said you need a snake to unclog it and I didn't bring one. Charged my son $250. My son said your website says free estimates. Plumber replied, estimates are free. This is a diagnostic fee. We had Whitney Services out for a worsening whole-home plumbing/water-pressure issue involving…read moremultiple fixtures. During the visit, the technician discussed concerns that the water softener was causing a restriction/backup and releasing resin beads into the plumbing, with a recommendation to replace the softener and flush the plumbing lines. We were also told that flushing could potentially reveal or cause failures in affected fixtures or components because of the existing buildup. Afterward, the written service report did not document the specific findings, observed resin, worsening pressure, affected toilets/shower/faucets, or the recommended repairs that were discussed in person. We promptly asked them to correct the record, especially because the claim was being handled through our home warranty, but received no response. Instead, once the warranty claim was denied, we received a text saying the work order was complete, asking for a five-star review, and offering a discounted estimate for the non-covered work. The review request may technically be about the diagnostic visit, but the lack of follow-through, incomplete documentation, and failure to respond to a reasonable request for an accurate report are part of our experience with the company. For a serious and worsening plumbing issue, we expected clear written findings, timely communication, and a report that accurately reflected what the technician said was happening. We did not receive that.
