Meanwhile, racks of clothing and shelves of patterns, material, bed, pictures on the wall, and racks of thread were soaked. He blamed a faulty washer, but never showed it to me. I had to cancel my brother and his family visiting for Thanksgiving - after I had bought hundreds of dollars of food - my brother who I had not seen in a long time. A couple of months into restoration, the kitchen plumbing started to leak again, the day before I was to leave for a 2 week vacation. The pipes now make a bloop sound every half hour, or so. He claimed not to hear it, but his employees heard it. He's a slimy liar. When he called a few years later wanting to check and service the system, I put him off because I can't trust him. I live in constant fear that the whole thing is going to explode again. If I hadn't been there and wanted to show the contraption under the kitchen sink, it would've ruined the entire condo instead of a third of it - therefore, going away is fraught with fear of what might be happening in my home.
