So I saw this taco truck sitting out in front of Qualcomm in La Jolla while on a field trip with some of my students, and after checking out their Yelp & IG page I saw that this was thee food truck in San Diego to get fish tacos from! They had a very concise menu consisting of four different types of tacos (Baja Style Fish, Ginger Fish, Chicken, & Vegetarian). After I asked the gentlemen who rang me up what their best sellers were, I got one Baja fish taco and one ginger fish taco, and baybeeeee they were the one! Generous size and filling portion in the tacos, great flavors, and super efficient and friendly service. I came out of a meeting and went to line up for some tacos, while the line was long and growing, Casanova had 3 people cooking and dishing up the taco plates, so it moved quickly. Of the options (Baja fish, chicken, ginger fish, chipotle fish, or veggie), I selected two: Baja and ginger and asked for mild in spiciness. Loved both! The Baja one was deep fried fish and topped with pico with nice crunch from the cabbage. The ginger one has a great green sauce and an Asian chili mild spice to it, fish was not deep fried.
