I went in and there are only 2 tables dining outside and I was the third inside. The group next to me was already eating. To cut the story short, the food took forever to be served. I waited for more than an hour! This is not a good experience. I asked for another straw on my drink and it took 15 minutes despite of follow ups. What a horrible experience when the restaurant is not even busy. Their food is overpriced as well. There are other many restaurants you can go to that has a better service.

There is only one place in Dumaguete where you get satisfying and constant quality good on an international level.

No matter how hard I try to get acceptable good on an international standard in Dumaguete, I always come back to Casablanca as there is no match at all in this city since over 10 years now. Not that it is fine dining or super exquisite, it is simply good prepared by an international team which knows how to cook. Not like in most places in Dumaguete where some local Chefs sprinkle some sesame over a fried chicken with rice and think they are the Philippine Gordon Ramsay. The Austrian chef here is since 40 years in business all over the world and knows how to prepare stunning meals.

Enjoyed this restaurant. My first time here and I ordered several international food (Spaghetti to Ghoulash). They were delicious. The staff are great, very polite and helpful. There can be some rude and drunk customers but they are still polite. It wasn't busy during lunch and it was a weekday. At night it does get busy as most of the customers are tourists. Beautiful view along this strip. I'd visit again.

Another amazing breakfast at Casablanca! Whenever you're in Dumaguete stop in and try the eggs benedict - so delicious!

Great selection on the menu, we chose a garden salad as our appetizer, ribeye steak as our main course.

All seven of us were seated in an upstairs private dining room. For starters we were served prosciutto and cheese platter, the foccasia bread basket, complemented with red wine. That whet my appetite. Our main course consisted of two kinds of pasta, Italian style spaghetti (which I prefer over Filipino style), and ricatonni mushroom, of which I took a second serving. Then came their cheese loaded eggplant parmigiana which I really enjoyed. For protein during the main course, we had the braised beef in rich thick sauce, the osso buco which brought out the Filipino in me, an that means I wanted rice go with it, nevermind the carb overload from the two pasta dishes already. It was a truly pleasant dining experience with family and friends, we stayed until closing time. We had one very attentive, very helpful and efficient waitress to male this a very pleasant dining experience, so enjoyable I forgot to take a lot of pictures for this review.
