Service was ok and the halo halos came quickly. You had a chiice of what ice creams you wanted, so I chose durian and mango, and the bf asked for ube and dragonfruit. The halo halos had fresh cut fruit as their goodies, not the typical candies and gellies you would expect. This disappointed me at first, but I appreciate the healthiness of if. We got up and left quickly after we finished, as one group of people was starting to get rowdy.

I love the French Guy!…read more I always see that most foreign star-up businesses here in the Philippines have far better customer service than Filipino star-ups. The place is a little bit hard to find at night, just ask the locals in Larena for this place most of them know where it is. During my visit its already around 7pm all people who are dining their are foreigners and the owner personally welcomes me and talks to the guest dining, checking if the food is alright. The owner makes the pizza so you are eating a authentic french baked pizza. I ordered a vegan pizza and it really taste good to be a vegan :) Im not a vegan but I sometimes preferred eating vegetables. They have a bigger restaurant called Big Molmol.

It will test you, so enjoy outside…read morewhile you leave a person behind (lol) and ask for the Wi-Fi password so they can look at their phone. The wait is real, but there is a reason. The food is cooked fresh. You actually pick your seafood before it is cooked, especially the squid and the crab. Nothing feels rushed, and it shows once the plates hit the table. The fried squid was worth waiting for. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and not greasy. You can tell it was fresh and cooked to order. The crab was the same story: sweet meat, well-seasoned, and not drowned in sauce. We also ordered pancit bihon, scallops with garlic, pork BBQ skewers, and a small cup of rice. The pancit bihon was flavorful and not dry. The scallops were soft and garlicky without being overpowering. The pork BBQ skewers had that classic smoky sweetness and were nicely charred. Service is straightforward and the vibe is casual. This is not fast food. If you come hungry and in a rush, you will get frustrated. If you come expecting fresh, cooked-on-the-spot Filipino food, you will leave happy. This is the kind of place you go to slow down, eat well, and enjoy food that is made properly. Enjoy time with family and talk; it's nice to enjoy your time while waiting for the food.

The only thing I disliked was I had to peel them and the head was still attached. Most seafood eaters do not care, but I like my shrimp already headless and peeled. This made it super messy because of the sauce, but they had a clean bathroom I was able to wash my hands in. This dish also did not include rice for some reason. The bf ordered honey pork ribs, which were also very tasty. His order came with fries, wedges, and a salad. A very good dinner choice for him along with some San Miguel. For me, a mango pineapple shake was sufficient, and very good. This restaurant is open and exposed to the outside. In the course of the meal 2 big fat flies kept bothering us so we were constantly swatting away. A cat and a dog also passed by inside. If you are not into that you probably should avoid. There is no AC here but some fans only if you're lucky enough to sit by it. To get an idea of the price, the prawns, ribs with sides, 2 beers and a shake were about 1600-1700 pesos. Pretty steep but at least the food lived up to the price.
