Street parking was easy to find but some golf carts did make it more difficult. You do have to order everything from the bar, which might not be ideal if you were sitting outside. I got the Fandango #2 and Bolero to drink which were both very tasty. I looked at their menu prior to going, and was craving wings as soon as I saw them on there. The wings were really crispy which I enjoyed, but they do not come covered in sauce. The buffalo sauce comes on the side, which made it messier to eat. They also do not come with ranch. We asked, and the person who delivered our food said we have to order it at the bar because you have to pay for it. They did end up bringing us a small container later, which was really appreciated. The Brussel sprouts were tasty and my friends enjoyed their food. When I closed my tab, I realized you could get a discount if you pay in cash, which was nice. I don't think their website mentioned that, so we didn't come prepared. I'm not sure if they had an ATM on site either. Overall, it is a place I would go to again.

For starters, we got the lamb stuffed grape leaves, Brussels sprouts, prosciutto and burrata, mango and roasted apple bruschetta, and their summer salad. Everything was delicious, and I was very surprised at the large portions--you are definitely getting your moneys worth with these! The Brussels and bruschetta were definite standouts. I was a little disappointed because their online menu still had the tartare listed, which was not on the menu at the restaurant any longer, but everything we got was superb, so I got over it quickly :) For mains, we split the jerk chicken, salmon, and the squid ink pasta. The Back Breaker was refreshing with the different fruit flavors and had a cute pineapple swizzle stick. The Big O-Spresso was very rich with lots of cream, yum Good Strangers was there proving Tiki inspired tacos, I tried both the chicken and the brisket and both were great but the chicken was the winner for me, that slaw was such a great addition! The bartenders were awesome. We walked up to the bar and both bartenders got things rolling for us quickly. They have a really solid menu as well. They have some wildly unique cocktail options that blend dive bar ingredients with a craft cocktail approach. The vibes were great. The back patio was super nice and a great spot to just relax. We hadn't been to The Royale in a while so we headed on over. We took seats at the bar and were quickly greeted by the bartender. He immediately had small refreshing glasses of water. After glancing over the Special Drink Menu, we both chose the Cold Brew Martini. It was made with 1220 Encrypted Vodka, Kaldi's Coffee Cold Brew, Giffard's Cafe Du Honduras, Giffard's Madagascar Vanilla and served up in a vintage glass. I love the glassware that The Royale uses. I hadn't eaten breakfast, so I looked at the food menu and ordered their Chips and Salsa. I had them add a side of guacamole for minimal fee. The chips are made in house and I was impressed with guac and salsa. For not being a Mexican restaurant, they were damn good. Especially the guacamole, it was so smooth and full of flavor. The bartender was friendly and we had good conversations with him and one of the waitresses. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere, so I'll be back.
