I've worked with the Tub Guy (Andres) on a few projects, and I still stand by my Five Star review!!…read moreIn fact, I'd like to add another reason for it: Andres honors his warranty. If you're currently trying to choose the right refinishing company, ask about their warranty. How long it lasts? What's covered? Take the time to read reviews and see if that company actually stands behind it. Andres explains all of that upfront, in writing, but more importantly, he follows through when you need it, without having to chase him down. That level of service is rare. Between the quality of his refinishing work, respectful of my property, showing up on time, and his commitment to standing behind it, he's earned my trust. 100% would not hire anyone else. Knowing he'll be there again for my next project makes the investment completely worth it. TIP: The Tub Guy offers free estimates. You've nothing to lose to reach out and get one.

Issues with communication and scheduling, and work not being done as promised. During quoting he…read moreemphasized that he would make sure the work was done with quality and would come back as he needed if I was unhappy with something. This promise was not kept. For context we started a job worth about $4000 back in Feb 2024 -- replacement toilets, installing vent hood, fixing a portion of drywall and paint in 3 spots in the ceiling, and changing window balances. It is now a year and half later and I am dissatisfied with everything but the vent hood and it has been so difficult to get Mike to come back and fix things. Toilet replacement - toilet was leaking from the flange somewhere still after the replacement, he would not come back to fix after I asked him 3 times about this issue Paint - we had a portion of the ceiling painted after drywall repairs -- I had a can of paint in my garage from previous homeowner but wasn't sure if it would match. Mike went ahead and did the whole ceiling and it ended up not matching -- he still charged ME when doing the repainting, implying that I took responsibility. Lesson learned -- don't ever try to help a contractor. Overall just a really confusing experience, I should have followed my instincts and pestered about the expectations and cost but I thought we had some rapport for some reason. Changing window balances - This was the most egregious... we needed new window balances on 10 or so windows in my home per Mike's suggestion. I called him and texted him multiple times asking when he would come back to do this... it took him several months and he gave me excuses saying it was hard for him to get the parts, because he wanted to give me quality balances and not the cheap kind. When he came he didn't bring the balances, and he judged that my old balances were fine and they just needed adjusting. He actually left one window without a balance, and never got back to me about the new parts which I wanted left at my place because it was part of the original contract. Also after a few weeks the problem came back and the windows were tough to open again.

Never heard of resurfacing a bathtub until I saw it on TV. After researching local companies I…read morechose Bath solutions. My kids are grown and out of the house but their tubs looked like a circus had used them. One tub had a deep chip and the other had hideous filthy grippers that would not clean. It took a few hours one day and they came back to finish the next (30-45) min. The reason for the two days is it needs to cure/dry. They turned out gorgeous!!!! Would highly recommend them. Very friendly and professional.

He gave me a quote right away via text, and came the next day to fix that along with other minor projects around the house. He fixed our toilet (he actually came back on Thursday again to look at it because there was a tiny issue), helped us patch up 2 toilet paper rolls, and tacked on an adhesive to a tiny hole that was causing our shower door to leak. Total with the front door lock fix was $300. Jose told me he also does remodeling. The photos he showed me of a project he did were amazing so I hope we can refresh our place too! Super friendly, along with his teammate who was with him. I highly recommend Dallas Handyman.

Cornerstone Restorations is "the Company" for restorations & really got me out of a jam…read more To simplify my predicament, I used a heavy scrounge pad to remove something sticky I missed when cleaning up the night before. Wrong thing to use on Stainless Steel, as it scratched the surface unmercifully. Plus the scratches were glaring back at me when the light rested on them at the top of the double sink where there is a wide rest between the two sides. Buffing with several liquids did nothing but brighten up the scratched area. Our contractor put Cornerstone Restorations in contact with me and the resulting repair was like brand new. No streaks, no scratches and my name isn't mud anymore. We learned to ask about what to use and not to use on newer materials and have "Cornerstone Restorations" (469) 569-6899 now on speed dial!
