I passed by and noticed their happy hour, and once I saw they had three different gin cocktails, my mind was made up. The bartender even accidentally charged me the non happy hour price at first, immediately caught it, and gave me an extra French 13 to make up for it. The cocktails are strong and not light handed with the liquor. They are also super delicious, and the dehydrated lemon slices are made in house instead of coming out of a box like at a lot of other bars. The decor is split between two vibes. The bar side has exposed brick with a rustic, old world feel, while the seating area leans more modern and artsy, almost like an underground lounge. They are also connected to an amazing no frills smash burger spot, so you can grab six dollar smash burgers to go with your drinks.

Casa Thirteen in New York, NY. I love a cozy neighborhood bar and Casa Thirteen elevates that experience. An ice cold gin martini and a side of fries might be my new favorite combo-you have to check out the "happy meal" at Casa Thirteen! So many tapas to choose from and the drinks are amazing! This is such a cute spot and a night out with the girls. Shoutout to Claire for taking the best care of us! Use to be the old sel rrose space. Interior still completely the same which i actually liked. For two ppl and just drinks and oysters I felt the price was pretty high. Bill was bout $100 for 2 rounds of drinks & a dozen oysters. Service was good but I wouldnt go back just cause of the price alone.

I rarely give reviews below four stars. I don't feel great about giving this review because this business is brand-new (I remember the previous spot got shut down for not paying taxes). There were some staff at this establishment that seemed SUPER invested in a good experience and some of them were there because they had to be. That doesn't bother me as much as the fact that the food was pretty mediocre. I was leaning toward a couple smaller dishes--the casa mushrooms (wild mushrooms, egg yolk, garlic, parsley, EVOO) and the pan con tomatoes (baguette, tomato, garlic)--but the server said she would recommend the wagyu au poivre, a 30 day dry aged steak. Nah, fam, that hit more like salisbury steak, and I paid 79 dollars for it. I think I would have fared better with any other basic dish--the tinned fish, the tortilla made with eggs, onions, and potatoes (though how many people are in the mood for that at night). The dishes I mentioned before. The drinks were mediocre as well. I won't be back, but I encourage others to try.

My neighborhood go to bar! Definitely order the casa margarita. On hot days I order their frozen strawberry daiquiri. Food is made to share. I always order the mushrooms, oysters, and mussels. Most of the menu is gluten free and a few solid plant based options.

I have no idea what the hostess' name was and honestly I could care less. Her attitude from the moment we opened the door was straight up UGLY. She was a typical useless, lazy worker. She claimed to have no open seats, yet had a 2 top table that was open for a whole 2 hours within the time me and my partner were there. The hostess really just set the tone for the entire service. She had no social awareness. All I'm gonna say is what does it take to get some hospitality up in here. Also the oysters tasted weird and the martini was mediocre at best. No bleu cheese olives? They gave me the butt of a peppercini?? What's going on here? Sos. Cheap affiliations, no real service nor rating required. Still gave 20% tho because Rey at the bar semi gave some effort but questionable. If you are looking for 1$ oysters there are so many better places in the city. Also we got the happy hour deal for the martini and tostada and it was a literal singular chip which I don't understand can be chanters as an "appetizer". very disappointing

Friendly staff, great drinks, and seriously good burgers. We tried both the Casa 13 burger and the smashed burger from next door & they were amazing. We ended up eating about ten burgers that day . The cocktails are excellent, and most of the dishes hit. Overall, a great spot for a casual dinner, drinks, and fun vibes.

Came here with a friend to grab drinks to try. Staff super friendly. Drinks were okay. Nothing too special. Will come back and the food next time. This review is for their drinks and service only.

wait this place lowkey so fire & it's at the corner of the street so u can sit outside and people watch. had a free dinner here & everything was lowkey good as fuck. frozen strawberry daiquiri was disappointing tho it tasted just like ice. but their ceasar salad was superrr saucy, oysters creamyyy, mussels were CREAMY, mushroom croquets CREAMYY, & their burger was FAT and juicy & fries crispy.

Amazing service + very delicious. Despite only having a couple front staff, everyone was super friendly and attentive. Oysters were so fresh, fries are actually to die for, and drinks were small but crafted very well. They also gave us free shooters for the long oyster wait time. :) Overall, bit on the pricier end, but regardless definitely a great, chill spot. Thanks for the amazing service!

Everyone seemed to enjoy them, suggesting one another to try this or that. The bartenders/ mixologists were on their A game. The drink menu is pretty extensive and from what I could see, our party choices ranged from wines to whisky's and several options between. The rooftop/patio was an extension of the comfortable but trendy decor. Great space for an evening, date or friend gathering. Dear Irving... well done. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We went on a Friday night with a party of 3 and did a walk in. That was a risky move and to our luck, the hostess was so sweet and squeezed us in as the last party of the night! This is a must visit when in downtown Brooklyn. We couldn't try the food since the kitchen closed and we were the last to enter but we were able to try 3 drinks and I recommend them all! 1. We had three and left suitably sloshed for the night with no aftereffects. We didn't have too many bites but the food was very good for a bar. I'm excited to go back and I hope we have just as much luck getting in next time.

Typical yuzu but ive had better ones - personally feel like the yuzu can be brighter and a bit sweeter rating: 4/5 - the drinks were all good but nothing particularly stood out except for the hojicha colada - the vibe and the music really brought up my rating though! It was such a cute, cozy, intimate spot for dates - small speakeasy with only a few seats, similar to bars in japan; it's one of those japanese listening bars and i love it - there was light jazz in the background, not too loud that i had to shout - the mood was perfect; I couldn't stop staring at the interior decor and immerse myself in this little cozy corner - service was super quick, nothing much to note IG: @nom.noms.only
