Nothing special here. Service was poor, not even sure who our server was, someone sat us and brought over chips and salsa, then someone else took our drink orders, then someone else came to take our drink orders but took our food orders instead. Asked one server for our check apparently it was the wrong one as he yelled across the restaurant to another server to get our check. I ordered the Chicken Super Burrito off the Lunch Menu. It was ok until I chewed on a Chicken Bone, lucky I caught it before I swallowed it, that kind of put a damper on the rest of the meal. read more

Excellent service! Always on the quest for great salsa & they deliver! So much so I asked for an extra bowl! Their veggie & shrimp quesadilla was quite a pleasant surprise! Loaded with shrimp & FRESH veggies like mushrooms & green peppers. I didn't think I could finish it. I did not leave a bite on my plate! Loved our Casa Noble Blanco tequila margaritas too. Quite a large menu - so plenty of choices for everyone. Remember to tip well. Everyone working so hard. read more

Casa Tequila - Our margaritas-Casa Noble tequila!! Very refreshing! - Mexican Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

We were in the area and stopped here as it was the closest restaurant to us at the time. We are so glad we did, as it turned out to be a very good lunch experience -- one that we would happily repeat. They have a number of lunch special at very reasonable prices along with a slew of your favorite Mexican fare dishes in various combos. You will find something to eat (and like) here -- even if Mexican cuisine is not one of your faves. They start you with a comp basket of taco chips and salsa. The one not so good thing is that the salsa is a bit watery, but its flavor is good. My husband had their taco salad. You could choose beef or chicken. He had the beef. It was a number of items layered in a taco shell shaped into a small bowl. He said it was quite good. He did add some hot sauce from the condiment rack on the table to perk it up. I had their lunch fajitas -- the beef was cut in strips and served with sautéed onions and green peppers in a light marinade in a small square hot dish. Along side was another (very hot) plate with refried beans, yellow rice, a bit of salad, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Everything was excellent. Two small round soft flour tortillas (you could have corn ones if you wished, instead) came on the side, as well. I ate the meal deconstructed and took the tortillas home (for breakfast tomorrow) along with some of the rice, beans, guacamole, onions, and peppers. We did not have time (or room) to try their desserts, but what would really appeal next time would be one of their variety margaritas. I think the blood orange one has my name on it... read more

Casa Tequila has become my favorite restaurant! The Boca Raton location is amazing. The food is delicious and portions are pretty big, for a very decent prize! The drinks are pretty strong, my favorite has become the Lambrusco Margarita. For food i always go for the combinations! And lastly, chips are always coming in! Definitely recommend it! Had my graduation dinner there and my sister will be celebrating her birthday there as well! Love it! read more

Busy place on a Saterday night. Hard to get refills on chips or salsa. Food was good. Enjoyed the guacamole and making a table side. Husband enjoyed the Carne Asada. Waiters were nice, but not enough servers for good service. read more

Food was ok. Everything needed salt. The bacon wrapped shrimp tasted fishy. I've never had shrimp that's tasted fishy. The steak was requested as medium rare but was served paper thin so no way to get a medium rare center which is ok but then why ask how I wanted my steak? read more

From the moment you walk in, you get the entire Mexican experience. All staff are super friendly and great at explaining any dishes. To start, the tortilla chips & salsa are hot and crunchy! The menu is extensive and has many different options to choose from. Any and all plates are absolutely delicious. Can't ever go wrong with the fajitas, you get the best of everything - making your own tacos to your liking with a side of Guac, lettuce salad, beans & rice. The frozen margaritas are top notch and a very decent size. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant for a simple date night or a full on family dinner - there's definitely something on the menu for everyone! read more

Great traditional Mexican food - terrific service and VERY reasonable prices. Wednesday is Mariachi night and pleasantly surprised at the performers not overwhelming our conversation. There is seating in a bar room as well as tables outside facing the closely parked cars. read more

A while back I attended a birthday celebration for a friend at Casa Tequila. We had a really nice time. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away. She gave us a nice table with plenty of room for our group. She was very pleasant and I appreciated her hospitality. Our server was efficient and helpful. She handled our large table of drink and food requests easily. She knew the menu well and remained attentive. She remembered it was my friend's birthday and brought her a dessert with a candle. Our food was standard Tex-Mex fare. Casual in nature, it pleased the masses but didn't wow us. I really enjoyed my Taco Salad. It was big and fresh, with tons of ingredients. There were no surprises good or bad, which offered a very nice dinner. The restaurant is spacious and warmly decorated. The staff was really nice. And our food was very good. Overall, we had a great evening celebrating my friend's birthday. Next time if I were in the area, I would visit again for a quick and casual meal. read more

Food is hardly even okay. We live in texas so we're used to a much higher standard. Food was bland. Carnitas were not horrible, but the accompanying guac was mainly lettuce and tomatoe. Refried beans like a soup topped with cheap cheese. Chicken Caeser salad was just a bad joke. Got food to go the first night because wife is wheelchair bound and it was very near to our hotel. We chanced it as a dine in the second night and told them we needed a spot where she would not be in everyone's way, and was usheted to a booth in a narrow passage where waiters were forced to carry trays of hot food over my wife's head as they negotiated around her. There were other spots nearby that would have been much better. Total amateur hour of a restaurant read more

We just moved to the area and we're feeling Mexican. Great service, good food, and doesn't break the bank! We will definitely go again.

Fast, fresh and hot! Coming in on a Sunday night with my girlfriend, we were hungry and chose this destination on a whim. Boy! We were not disappointed. Allison was great, provided us ample amount of time to decide and recommended us some of the restaurant's specialty. The pork belly tacos were super flavorful with the pineapple toppings cutting the grease that pork belly usually has. My taco combo with enchilada had a hearty portion and was piping hot! Hot sauces on table were authentic ranging from green habanero sauce to red and smoky salsa. Overall, great value, service and hot food. Restaurant was well kept and a full bar service should you need to get your margarita fix on. Ambiance was on the older side but plenty of room and space for you to sit and enjoy. Highly recommend everyone to come and visit. read more

11am on sat 1st person in the door today! I was super excited because I have moved from the area and getting some of my fav Mexican food! I Asked for a side of Guacamole not the 10 dollar appetizer with my chips and salsa Mary the server is adamant says can't do that can only order only with meal but I'm eating all by myself I said I'm ordering a meal and would like the side with my chips so just bring it out early She argued with me back and forth a few times-in an unfriendly manner I asked for a manager mary says shes not in yet.... Lucky her I have moved out of the area and was so excited to stop by one of my favorite places Your lack of customer service ruined it for me ! I also asked for the tomato and sour cream on the side on separate plate of my entree as I pointed at the picture and also extra tortillas.... Mary missed on all points! read more

We tried their curbside pickup recently due to COVID, and it was flawless. Ordering on the phone was easy, and once we arrived, we simply called again and they came right out with the food and to collect payment. They have a good system in place to adapt to the needs of the situation. The food is incredible as usual. As another reviewer pointed out, the portions remain large. They don't cut corners. I was pleasantly surprised to even see chips and salsa in the bag. What a nice touch. I got a taco and enchilada combo. It was huge and can be two meals in one. Everything was hot and fresh. We'll be back! read more

I have been a few times and have enjoyed my burrito, tacos and other combos, my favorite combo is the dos amigos. Recommended by my waiter- it was a combinations of a grilled skirt steak and bacon wrapped shrimp with seasoned rice, refried beans with Guac. and sour cream in the center over some greens. The plate is huge and filling and my friends who ordered fajitas were covering my meal. The smell of cigars from next door shop permeates the restaurant walls at times. I prefer to eat outside near the parking and smell of exhaust. LOL. The last time I was there there were mariachi singers entertaining. The homemade tortillas and chips with salsa is great. I always ask for my own mild bowl. May bien read more

To stop the spread of Coronavirus South Florida is under a stay at home order. We can go out for necessities including groceries and carry out meals. All Yelp events are currently cancelled. . Yelp's Big Night Out was a great idea. Since restaurants were only allowed to have pick up or delivery we could make our own event by getting a great meal from a local restaurant. Our favorite Mexican restaurant is Casa Tequila. That's the restaurant where Clyde and I got carry out dinners for our Big Night Out. When we drove up to the restaurant one of their servers, who was wearing a face mask, was stationed outside taking orders. As soon as we parked he came over and took our order. Everything on their regular menu was available including their delicious Margaritas. For our appetizer we decided to share their special freshly made guacamole. For our entrees we ordered enchiladas and pollo Mexicano. I ordered a margarita and Clyde ordered a beer. Our meals came with a big bag of nacho chips and salsa.. It didn't take long for the order to be brought to our car. We were looking forward to a great meal. In keeping with the theme of Yelps Big Night Out I set the table with nice dishes, silverware, candles, and a bottle of wine. The food was fabulous. I enjoyed every bite. We had the delicious guacamole. Their enchiladas were large and covered with melted cheese. The pollo Mexicano is one of my favorite dishes. It's chicken made with a chipotle cream sauce. It is a little spicy. The entrees came with beans and rice. Great Yelps Big Night In. read more

Food was great, however I asked for one type of burrito and the server told me there were two types of chicken that could go in it and did not inform me which one was more expensive. When I got the check it was the more expensive one, and when I explained myself that I wasn't informed, the server was super rude and walked off with the check. I got the check fixed fortunately, but a terrible attitude from the waiter. I don't remember the server's name, but could recognize him in person if I came again. read more

Tonight's menu Asada y Mas, it's a grilled skirt steak that was served with rice and beans. The dish was not horrible; it's nothing that I would order again. I wanted it spicy, and there was no spice in it, the skirt steak was cooked well done, and it was dry. The beans I did not like it at all, and the rice was subpar. Super burrito, it's a soft flour tortilla that was stuffed with pork rice and beans with melted cheese on the top along with lettuce tomato and sour cream. This dish is supposed to have shredded pork, and instead, it seems like it might've been chopped but not that good, the pork was dry, and the overall taste of the burrito was tasteless at best. I believe my fiancé echo the same sentiments I have, but one positive thing was the cost. It's been a long time before I walked out of a restaurant paying under $30. The tortilla chips and salsa are the bright spot of the evening as they were very good Our server Louis was MIA for quite a while, but when he did show up at our table, he was very attentive. My fiancé had the feeling that we were rushed tonight because they wanted to close, I didn't get that feeling, but I was busy watching the hockey game. I do not think I'll return to this place for Mexican food as it's not my hot tamale read more

Disappointed. This was my first time at this restaurant, but I was honestly expecting more from a place like this. Beautifully furnished and decorated, fantastic chips and salsa and that's it... The waiter came once took our order and disappeared. For about 20 minutes he came in and out of the kitchen, but he didn't check on us even once. We called him 2-3 times until finally he came over. His whole demeanor was like he didn't want to be there. I ordered "Super burrito " with pulled pork, which was huge but tasteless. I could barely find the meat inside, the whole thing was a mush of black beans and rice with some cheesy sauce and melted cheese on the top. My fiancé ordered Asada y mas - grilled skirt steak. It was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't. "Is not horrible, but I wouldn't order it again "- his words. I don't think I will go back read more

This place is amazing! Customer service 10/10 Marta the manager goes above and beyond to give each customer the perfect experience and waitress and waiters are ready to help with advise as necessary and are very friendly. Not 5 Stars, but......... Explanation: I'm a New Yorker and when we lived there we went to practically every 5 Star Restaurant. 5 Stars refers to a M'aitre D, Waiter, Bus Boy, Linen tablecloths and napkins, fancy place settings and, naturally, superior food and service. If there was a totally Mexican Restaurant listing I would give Casa Tequila the 5 Stars. Now to my review. We were greeted by a very nice young man who explained the choices of seating areas. This was not our first visit so I was familiar and opted for the bar area, VERY comfortable chairs, and not noisy. Within minutes of being seated we were served with nice warm Tortilla chips, Salsa, (Not very hot, but piquant), and water. We were a party of three, a friend my wife and I. Our friend doesn't care for any hot spices at all but she didn't complain. I got some Hot salsa for my taste. We ordered drinks, 2 Frozen Margarita's and a coke for me. When the drinks were served our waiter, Luis, asked if we were ready to order or wait a few minutes, which is what we did. When we were ready he came right over and took our orders. Our friend had Arroz con Pollo, chicken with rice. She said it was very good and it looked good. My wife had the steak Fajitas which came in a sizzling plate served with rice, refried beans and salsa. She too was very pleased with her choice. I ordered the Carne Asada, a strip steak served with rice, refried beans and salsa. I asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, the steak was soft and flavorful. I know the Ladies were pleased because we ALL finished our plates, and were quite satiated! In reading other reviews I noticed one that stood out in my mind. And it's something to consider in reading restaurant reviews. They all relate the writers opinion. The one that stood out in my mind was a one star review in which the author said they were there for 5 visits! Why would you keep coming back to a restaurant that you didn't like? Anyway, our visit, this time, again, was one of complete satisfaction with service, ambience and food. read more
