I was really hoping this new place would be somewhere I can frequent, but the food is just disappointing and the carne asada burrito was ok tasting the first time I tried it but when I purchased it again it was so unappetizing that I threw it away! I must have been starving the first time that I ordered it! The small tacos are way over priced! I don't mind spending any amount on good food but it has to be worth the money. I'll admit that I was skeptical about this place for a while when I'd drive past it because the exterior makes it look like a knock-off Del Taco. Although, I decided to give it a try after seeing the high rating on Yelp and looking through the pictures of the food. Right off the bat, the price is extremely fair! It's pretty rare nowadays to find restaurants that aren't greedy, so it was refreshing to see somewhere where i could get full for less than $10. Regarding the food itself, I got the asada and pollo tacos, and a side of rice. The asada was flavored perfectly, although a little too oily for my preference. The pollo was meh. I feel like the pollo could use some more seasoning. The rice had a lot of chicken stock flavor (which I love in red rice), but it was a little crispy. Overall, taking into account the price and the food quality, Casa Tacos is deserving of a high rating of 4/5 stars. I will be adding Casa Tacos to my rotation of restaurants where I eat out! read more

Tried this place for the first time, went through the drive thru. I ordered the carne asada bowl and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was great, it was very cheesy but not greasy at all. The bowl was a nice sized portion, but mediocre. What really ruined it was the rice. Mushy and crispy at the same time. Honestly, Pollo Loco rice would have been better. Went Saturday for the first time since they opened it's only been open for a short time, ordered a Mulitas and a drink, it definitely DID NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE MENU! I was very disappointed. It was basically two corn tortillas with asada add cheese something that I could have made at home, it was just plain looking I couldn't believe I paid over ten donated for just that alone. Nothing special about it at all, customer service was not great I don't recommend this place at all. Deplorable service. Was excited to try out a new spot that looked like it has authentic Mexican food and decided to go through their drive through. I waited about fifteen minutes to get to the speaker and then no one came over the speaker to take my order for over twenty minutes. I decided to call them at the number they have listed on their website to ask if someone would be taking my order and it kept ringing for seven minutes. Finally I went over to the window at which point an associate came over stating that she didn't hear anything which is BS. I kept saying 'Hello?" The food was good! Everything was very tasty! I do wish they had combo plates with rice and beans. Quite expensive since everything is a la carte. My reason for not leaving more stars is that our car and windows were covered in grease as we parked too close to the person grilling outside. I made numerous attempts to speak to a manager regarding this to no avail. My husband spent hours cleaning off the grease and was not able to remove all of it. Really couldn't they throw those away and put whole chips for $14.99. I also got an agua de Jamaica not real just koolaid but they charge as if it was the real thing.
