Jaimie P.

Came here for the first time with my husband for a day date before shopping. We ordered the following: - 2x carne asada tacos with cilantro and onion ($3.49 each) - 1x beef quesobirria taco w/consume (not on the menu, but they have it ($4.99) - 1 Chorizo torta w/o pickeled onions ($12.99) - Made the torta a large combo ($2.60) and added Jamaica ($3.25) - chips and guac ($5.49) Plenty of parking is available. Some shaded and some not. I went inside to dine, but they do have a drive thru which is convenient. I'd say service is decent. The cashier wasn't very informed on the menu. He also charged us for the chips and salsa when I said chips and guac twice. We had to go back to correct the order. They didn't charge us the different which was really, really sweet of them ($3.49 vs $5.49). The Jamaica is a little too sweet of my taste, but I can easily water it down a bit. Still delicious. Salsa wise they offer orange and green. I suspect the orange salsa is made with habaneros. There's no real flavor besides the spice. If you love spicy, this is up your alley! It was my husband's favorite. I liked it, but I can't digest spicy food without heartburn so I stuck to the green tomatillo salsa. It still offered a kick, with the tomatillo goodness. The chips and guac were good. They make the chips in house. My husband loved the guac. I'm super picky and don't believe guac should have tomato (I will DIE on this hill lol). It had a tad too much lime for my liking, but it was solid. I love that there was no tomato. To me, this was authentic. They also (accidentally) gave us avocado salsa which was my absolute favorite. I didn't even know they offered it. The queso birria alone is worth coming back. The meat was so tender and flavorful. It was served with consume. The meat wasn't too fatty which I loved. My husband devoured the chorizo torta. All he could say was, "it was delicious." This man is a chatter box and this meal left him speechless. As for the carne asada tacos, I thought they were a great size for the price! They're not huge and they're not tiny. The price is just right. My only complaint, and again I'm a picky eater, is the meat was too fatty for me. I prefer it be leaner. But that's just my own personal preference. My husband complained that it was delicious, but way too oily. I don't mind the oil. To me, that's flavor. I found the meat to be a bit bland. Could have been marinated or had more seasoning. I wouldn't order this item again. Definitely recommend giving it a try. They're a solid 3.5 out of 5, but I'm rounding up because I'd come back.

The food was good don't get me wrong but for the price I really wish the nachos layered a little better. I would still go back and try the other items on their menu. The taste was really good and the service was quick.

It was a good first experience at Casa Tacos. Convenient location by all the major shopping centers locally. Nice big windows that lets the light in and the place is clean and well maintained. We ordered an asada quesadilla, asada tacos and pollo tacos. The meats were well seasoned, juicy and had a nicely seared. The red hot salsa and the green salsa were tasty. I like to combine both on my tacos. Staff are friendly with fast service. We will definitely come back for more.

Food was actually amazing for a fast food like joint. Right away, you can smell the meat getting grilled on an open flame . You can see the flame clearly in the back of the kitchen. The meat did not disappoint. The premium steak was so tender and juicy, with a hint of smoke from the flame. The adobafa was amazing as well. It came with diced up flame grilled pineapples, SO GOOD! Servers was nice and nothing crazy. You order your food, sit down and wait until they call your number and you pick up from the counter. Easy peasy. Would definitely come back especially on Tuesdays for a dollar off on the tacos. I just wish they did fries as well.

Lillian J.

First time here. Restaurant was clean. Service was good. Food was ok. The smell is what brought us in. The amazing smell didn't quite match up with the taste. There was something missing. Not sure what. Wasn't horrible just left us underwhelmed.

Veronica P.

My husband got a pollo bowl with guac, and I ordered an asada quesadilla with guac. This is the best quesadilla I've ever had! It has a perfect crunch and cheese to meat ratio. The sauces are incredibly delicious and high quality too. The service was prompt and kind. We noticed that the interior is very clean and well-maintained! We'll be coming back here, for sure.

Phuonghuyen N.

Food was okay, nothing special to it...no extraordinary flavors...overpriced tacos & they upcharge for "specialty meat" ...I don't see myself coming back here. Drive thru was closed when I went.

Kul K.

Yumm tacos.. I love it here... it's in Moreno valley. Happpening place. Good quality food

Tiffany P.

The food was okay but pricey a small taco almost $5 , it was gone in two bites. Service was awesome, there was a young lady walking around asking g how our visit and food was. Drive thru was outbof service the day we visited. They sell alcoholic drinks, beers. Salsa was tasty and spicy which I appreciate. Not sure if I'll come back, the prices were just too much for what I got. I don't mind paying for what I think is worth it but the size, I cant get over.

Frederick D.

Restaurant was clean and the food came out quick but the line to order was long. Also gave us free green and red salsa that was pretty tasty. If you post a yelp review you get a small combo (chips and a drink).

Mariana R.

Let me begin by saying that the food was so good. The prices and portions are excellent. The nachos were so good and the tacos as well. The flavor of the Asada is delicious and the adobada has pieces of pineapple, which I loved. The restaurant is clean and spacious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this taco spot in MoVal.

Hours during soft opening. Small Combo special for $2.25 for drink and chips says 4/10but is still being honored

Tracy S.

Taco's are 2 corn tortillas - no flour tortilla option for tacos. 3 salsas- mild green, hot orange, medium avocado salsa containers have barely any I assume to not to see so much in the trash. Chips were a bit soft. Beans are whole. Abobada is offered with or without pineapple. All tacos they offer onions and cilantro and gone with 3 slices of radish. Arrachero can be made well done - this was done without them asking. I think they needed seasoning. Place looks clean. Lots of stuff. On Tuesday tacos are $1 off.

Christian G.

New location in Riverside. Clean inside and the food was delicious. I would return to eat here again.

My ex-wife told me to meet her here to pick up the kids for weekend. When they pulled up the kids were crying because they wanted to go with their mom and her new bf. I was going to dread this weekend. But something remarkable happened the aroma of delicious tacos was calling to us, almost like a sirens song. We levitated inside and we're greeted by friendly staff and felt so welcomed. I placed an order for some tacos, quesadillas and a torta. Next thing I knew I was having a wholesome family moment with my kids while eating some incredible food ! I even shared a torta with my ex-wife and she looked at me the same way she did on our wedding day. I used a taco to wipe away my tear then I got a phone call from my dad telling me hes proud of me. An incredible way to start the day. Thank you casa tacos for the great food and for bringing my family closer together. read more

This was my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world before they closed down to remodel. They reopened with a completely different menu and the quality is terrible now. I told people from all around the country about the arrachera burrito. It's gone now. Please bring it back the way it was. Quality meat. Crispy cheese inside. ORANGE SALSA WAS THE BEST! Even that is gone now for a bunch of bland generic salsas. This place is basically one of those knock off Alberto's now. Alanbertos. Aliberto's. Etc. please bring it back. Ambiance is basically the same so don't know why they shut down at all. Just to make the food worse. read more

Honest review food is mediocre at best Meat was bland just like the green salsa What really saved this place for me was the Birra which was good compared to everything else I got. 8 or 10$ for a small mulita depending on your meat choice is crazy work. Was hoping the horchata was made from scratch but sadly was not. Staff was very kind and I appreciate that so thank you. Probably wouldn't be so disappointed if it wasn't 85$. read more

I orders birria tacos. 1 they look nothing like how they're advertised. 2 these tacos are soggy AF. I only live about 5-10 away from casa tacos. And they're soggy. Food is alright . I've tasted better birria tacos from hole in a wall joints.. yea won't be spending anymore money here. I only patronize your restaurant because what i saw on yall instagram page. For $5 a taco i wasted my money here. Also when i call the number they provide here on yelp 562-656-5143 the number doesn't even work. Also i payed for the meal which comes with a drink and chips.. guess what never got my chips. Y'all need to get it together. read more

First time to eat at this restaurant very clean very new. I ordered Tacos a quesadilla and a Mulita Of asada, adobada. ranchera with is a premium protein. This place need to pay more attention to flavor and amount of protein in the tacos. The adobada taco seamed to have the scraps of the meat. Asada need more flavor so does the ranchera meat. The mulita seamed to me made with oil on the grittle but not hot enough, the tortilla soaked up the oil. The quesadilla of chicken was probably the best thing out of all. The agua frasca of Jamaica had a hit of cinnamon not original flavor. read more

I stopped by Casa Tacos on Day St today to try the food, I had 2 asada tacos after I asked if they were street tacos the server said yes so I bumped it to 3. The meat was cubed into smaller bite size pieces and I had them add the onions and cilantro which was minimal. The salsa was good, just the right amount of heat, at least for me. For the 12 bucks I spent on 3 street tacos I don't think I will be going back as I don't see the value for what is served. It took about 10 minutes to get my food as well. I must say the server girl behind the counter was very friendly and the place was very clean, those are bonuses, but for 12 bucks I rather go elsewhere as their are plenty of Mexican restaurants with better prices and selection. read more

You know how whenever that one uncle throws a party everyone comes because they food is that good? This place is s good as that. Definitely better than any road side stand. I had a classic torta with asada and everything on it. It was absolutely delicious. The orange salad is the best. The pickles onions set everything off as a tastey contrast. My wife had a quesadilla which was very good also. But in my opinion the pickled onions would have been the perfect addition. The drinks are of a good size. Get the combo . Wanted to give this place a try and had high hopes but only left disappointed. I let the worker know it was our first time trying and she didn't even let us know about the premium meat they offer at extra charge. I would have wanted that better meat. So we ordered regular asada tacos and the meat was so hard and greasy like left over crumbs from the grill and the asada quesadilla ugh!! Don't worry about carbs here because the tortilla was paper thin with globs of cheese not good at all. Sorry but I have to leave an honest review so they can do better. read more

Pair that with their incredible, fresh Southwest flavor and the absolute best salsa in all of the IE and OC. And of course, the margaritas are still just as good as I remembered! We came in to celebrate my big sister's birthday, as Riverside was the perfect halfway point for everyone. Even with a party of 10, the entire staff handled our group flawlessly and made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Anchos, for continuing to deliver amazing food and hospitality after all these years. Casa Taco is a gem! I stopped in and tried the quesa birria, grilled shrimp diablo, and pollo al carbón--everything was delicious. The birria was rich and cheesy with the perfect dip, the shrimp had a nice kick without being overpowering, and the grilled chicken was super flavorful and juicy. Also had the watermelon agua fresca and cinnamon horchata which were super refreshing and not too sweet--perfect with the spicy dishes. Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Definitely planning to come back and try more from the menu! read more

Casa Tacos completely exceeded our expectations! I honestly thought it might be just another fast-food spot when I saw the drive-thru, but I was pleasantly surprised. The carne asada tacos were absolutely amazing, juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. We also tried the nachos, and woah best nachos I've had in a long time. I usually prefer shredded cheese over nacho cheese, but these totally changed my mind. On top of the food, the service was top-tier. Gentleman at the drive thru was very kind.
