My ex-wife told me to meet her here to pick up the kids for weekend. When they pulled up the kids were crying because they wanted to go with their mom and her new bf. I was going to dread this weekend. But something remarkable happened the aroma of delicious tacos was calling to us, almost like a sirens song. We levitated inside and we're greeted by friendly staff and felt so welcomed. I placed an order for some tacos, quesadillas and a torta. Next thing I knew I was having a wholesome family moment with my kids while eating some incredible food ! I even shared a torta with my ex-wife and she looked at me the same way she did on our wedding day. I used a taco to wipe away my tear then I got a phone call from my dad telling me hes proud of me. Taco's are 2 corn tortillas - no flour tortilla option for tacos. 3 salsas- mild green, hot orange, medium avocado salsa containers have barely any I assume to not to see so much in the trash. Chips were a bit soft. Beans are whole. Abobada is offered with or without pineapple. All tacos they offer onions and cilantro and gone with 3 slices of radish. Arrachero can be made well done - this was done without them asking. I think they needed seasoning. Place looks clean. Lots of stuff. On Tuesday tacos are $1 off. read more

First time to eat at this restaurant very clean very new. I ordered Tacos a quesadilla and a Mulita Of asada, adobada. ranchera with is a premium protein. This place need to pay more attention to flavor and amount of protein in the tacos. The adobada taco seamed to have the scraps of the meat. Asada need more flavor so does the ranchera meat. The mulita seamed to me made with oil on the grittle but not hot enough, the tortilla soaked up the oil. The quesadilla of chicken was probably the best thing out of all. I stopped by Casa Tacos on Day St today to try the food, I had 2 asada tacos after I asked if they were street tacos the server said yes so I bumped it to 3. The meat was cubed into smaller bite size pieces and I had them add the onions and cilantro which was minimal. The salsa was good, just the right amount of heat, at least for me. For the 12 bucks I spent on 3 street tacos I don't think I will be going back as I don't see the value for what is served. It took about 10 minutes to get my food as well. I must say the server girl behind the counter was very friendly and the place was very clean, those are bonuses, but for 12 bucks I rather go elsewhere as their are plenty of Mexican restaurants with better prices and selection. read more

I had a classic torta with asada and everything on it. It was absolutely delicious. The orange salad is the best. The pickles onions set everything off as a tastey contrast. The micheladas were pretty good too! And the green salsa was bomb! We got to try their little flans, those were pretty good too. A little too mushy for my liking but still good. I'll admit that I was skeptical about this place for a while when I'd drive past it because the exterior makes it look like a knock-off Del Taco. Although, I decided to give it a try after seeing the high rating on Yelp and looking through the pictures of the food. Right off the bat, the price is extremely fair! It's pretty rare nowadays to find restaurants that aren't greedy, so it was refreshing to see somewhere where i could get full for less than $10. Regarding the food itself, I got the asada and pollo tacos, and a side of rice. The asada was flavored perfectly, although a little too oily for my preference. The pollo was meh. I feel like the pollo could use some more seasoning. The rice had a lot of chicken stock flavor (which I love in red rice), but it was a little crispy. Overall, taking into account the price and the food quality, Casa Tacos is deserving of a high rating of 4/5 stars. I will be adding Casa Tacos to my rotation of restaurants where I eat out! read more
