I had a lovely lunch on rue Richelieu, sitting in the Paris summer sun on the sidewalk at Damouri…read more I happened across this place while looking for a lunch treat and it was definitely a treat.
I had the Kafta (kebabs [no sticks] with spices and yogurt on the side), which came with an "oriental salad" (it was what I think of as a "normal" salad in the US, with a vinaigrette(?) dressing). Both the Kafta and the salad were very, very tasty. The kebabs were a very "robust" flavor (it's the best word I can think to use), and the salad complemented the spices in the kebabs nicely.
I also tried the "thé glace maison", which was okay, but did not really taste of anything, so I wouldn't get it again.
It was delightfully empty for a 1pm lunch, so I hesitate to share my treasure with Yelp, but it really is very good and I want them to have the business and you to have the experience.
