So that's a fun way to start off a visit. Very elegant sort of place with purple lights, espejos, and chandeliers. The bartender and staff were especially nice, but with one fatal flaw - the drinks took agesss to arrive. In fact, I'm fairly certain I saw one of the employees leave the bar and come back with a can of olives in tow (which means, logically, they were not prepared for the sudden order of 4 martinis). Later, we would find out that it was the bartender's first time making a dry gin martini, so we gave him a little leeway. Eh, I've definitely had better.
Most of the tables were occupied, so perhaps we just came on an "off" night. I'd give it another shot but only if I was walking right by it and needed a martini/gin tonic riiiiight then. Otherwise, I'd probably scope out a different spot.
