I had the Cameron Monterro which was shrimp wrapped in bacon and served with fajita vegetables and rice and beans. Now I like shrimp and I love bacon, but not together. It somewhat looked and tastes like maybe they deep fried the bacon wrapped shrimp. The shrimp was missing flavor except for the bacon. The fajita veggies consisted of carrots, onions and green peppers. I was expecting a bit more I guess. It didn't taste horrible and if you are a huge bacon lover, this would be the dish for you. Service was great and very attentive and pricing is reasonable. The inside is festive and very large and spacious with a bar area as well. Did not get good food. My sister had tacos that the pork was bad. My quesadilla had chicken that the liquid was not drained from so was really runny. My other sister did not get her full order. When we asked about it the girl could not understand what we were wanting. When we let the person at front know pork was bad that did not offer any solutions. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food you should look elsewhere. A family friend recommended this restaurant because they're local and said this spot was one of the best in town, but unfortunately it was a good 3 out of 10. The menu is pretty limited. Mot the typical long menu you get at other Mexican restaurants. It's more of a Tex-Mex Restaurant (as our waiter put it) rather than a Mexican restaurant. No authentic soups which was a bummer! This is a decent place to get some Mexican food. The service was top notch and the waitress and waiters are very friendly. The chips and salsa were pretty tasty. I got the ground beef enchiladas for $12.50 and it was not too bad. I could see meat ooozing out of the enchiladas and it looked kind of like my taco meat from my taco at Taco Bell last week. If you enjoy your food directly from tin can then you must visit Casa Ramos. This place doesn't cook food, they just steam the vegetables and rest is directly served from the cans. The last time we went, it was busy and I got the ground beef macha burrito, the beef was kind of red and I lost my appetite. There was also this lady selling desserts that weren't even on the menu and my son ended up getting sick. They shouldn't be selling things that aren't on the menu! It's an Azteca. I'm not sure why the name on the sign wouldn't reflect that. It's the exact same menu. Feeling a bit deceived after we sat down and realized it. Staff was friendly enough but food was very mediocre. I'm one to look at the menu and go with the chicken enchiladas en mole every time. This was hands down the blandest I have ever had. Chicken was watery, flavorless, and seemed from a can. The mole sauce was weak, lacking flavor and also watery. My son got a mondo burrito and it was decent. With the increased expense of dining out these days I've become much more sensitive to paying good money for mediocre meals. read more

Solid choice for (American style) Mexican food in Centralia. This place gets very busy, so eating in the bar is a good choice. They have a great happy hour and great service. We ate a late lunch here after a long day at Great Wolf Lodge. My husband and I split the fajitas sampler; it came with steak, shrimp and chicken and was plenty of food for the two of us. My 13-yo ordered carnitas tacos, a huge plate of three tacos full of tender pork. My little guy got cheese pizza. (Yes, he's related to me, not sure how since he doesn't like Mexican food!) wouldn't recommend that, it was more like an open-faced quesadilla. The Cadillac Margarita was delicious. Had the chicken fajitas. The onion and peppers were not grilled and neither the veggies or chicken had any seasoning at all. For 16 dollars this was a huge case of buyers remorse. ended up picking out and eating the bland chicken, throwing away 2 and half fajitas cause the peppers and onions were far too oily. We love coming to Casa, the staff is very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. 99% of the time we sit in the bar, it's always busy and festive in there. Drinks are good, good selection of happy hour items. Highly recommend the molcajete, steak fajitas, chicken taquitos, macho burrito, pollo Blanco, enchiladas, or a good old fashioned crunchy beef taco to name a few favd. Probably won't be back Drove an hour to come eat and meet my son's siblings for lunch. We got seated at separate tables due to Covid and only having 5 per table. No problem, we would alternate Well, we sat for a minimum of 20 minutes, without water. Someone had brought chips as soon as we were seated, but after that , we were forgotten about!! I got up to ask why our server had not been around and within a minute a host came out to take out drink and food orders. After another 12 minutes, we got our food, but still didn't have utensils!!! I'm not into 5-star ratings for the most part, because so many things have to come together to create a restaurant experience worthy. In spite of being part of a restaurant chain (Azteca), Casa Ramos has so consistently provided a top-notch dinner that I give those stars without reservation. The restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated, has a bar (queso+Seahawks football!), and has been recently revamped inside and out. The dining room is spacious, and pretty well laid out. They are definitely willing and able to accommodate groups and parties. We've been here when they had a mariachi wandering around, too. Great atmosphere. The staff is top-to-bottom first rate. Servers are really courteous and knowledgeable regarding the menus, both food and drink. The most consistently excellent service I've ever had at a restaurant. I can't say enough good things about this crew! On to the food. The menu is easy to read, well laid-out and offers a wide variety of Mexican-style food, as well as a smattering of American fare. Everything we've tried has been great. The food is so great every time that we aren't afraid to try new things. Among the finest food of it's kind I've ever eaten. For a long time this was my favorite Mexican restaurant! It's a large place so you usually never had to wait for a table and the food was always served hot and fresh. Their chips and salsa were also very yummy...I probably could have just lived on those for every meal! Prices are reasonable. Additionally they had one of the best giant margaritas in town. I remember a couple times having to share with people otherwise I would have probably been sleeping in my car....that drink was enormous! One drawback is the service. They usually did okay with a couple people at a table but any party larger than 4 and for some reason orders never seemed to be correct. There were a few times I came here with lots of people and every time most of the orders that came out were incorrect! Not sure why or what was going on but this is something that definitely needs to be worked on. In any case though, if you want good reasonably priced food then come here. It's yummy! read more
