The food here is excellent--I come on a regular basis and always enjoy it. However, I had a very disappointing experience when I recommended the truck to someone. When she ordered a burrito supreme, either the owner or an employee insulted her with inappropriate language, apparently because she didn't speak Spanish but looked Hispanic. That kind of treatment is unacceptable. While the food is great, the customer service and respect toward customers need serious improvement. read more

This place was fkn trash On top of they treated my boyfriend different after finding out he doesn't speak Spanish and he was never taught how. Makes him feel weird about it then asks him what salsa he wanted he said "the green salsa in the side" then was given all 3 tacos with EXTRA red salsa on it. It was so fucking spicy i couldn't even eat it and i love spice, I don't get spiced out EVER! So for it to be that drenched in spicy sauce was fucking insane. And didn't give ice in the horchata ? Tf it's made and sat it cold ice but you don't serve it with ice? Definitely a hole in a wall kind of place. The truck is parked in a kinda random spot. There wasn't much around it so it didn't necessarily feel like the safest spot at first. There are a couple trucks set up with a tent covering benches and once we walked in I felt much better about it. The guy taking orders was super funny and the service was great. I got the asada burrito and used the mild salsa. It was delicious! The guy working also gave us this mexican ramen to try. That was really good as well. This place knows FLAVOR ! Had been wanting to try Los Costenos for awhile. Was excited when my man suggested for us to grab a bite to eat before going shopping. I ordered the #2 Combo... (2 Tacos, Rice, Beans.and a good sized Burrito) He ordered the Carne Asada Fries. Everything tasted fresh and the quantity for the price is very reasonable. Both these meals were hot, fresh ,and absolutely delicious. Normally when I get beans and rice with a meal from other places the rice is dry, and the beans bland in taste. Not here !....beans are Super Flavorful, and the rice was soft and well seasoned. There's a nice canopy area to eat under in case the weather is bad. Also providing a dry area to stand when ordering food. Owners are very nice. Talked to a few customers while we were there. We told them it was our first time being there...without hesitation they all said "You'll be back". They're right !...we cant wait to try more from the menu. Support Local Businesses ! I could eat authentic tacos every day of the year. I love them that much. THIS PLACE IS the BOMB. Delicious authentic food, nice portions, big menu, friendly and fast service, and reasonable prices. They have specials every day. The tacos are to die for - the shredded chicken is seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans were delicious and their green sauce is amazing. 4.5 this is the best taco truck I have ever been at awsome taco's and salsa,only thing that bugs me is I wish I could eat more than 6 tacos at a time,and there grilled jalapenos and onions are so good I wish they had an option to ask for a jalapeno for each taco there that good especially with those spices they sprinkle on all and all great place to stop by and have a bite.However there is a reason why it's not a 5 is because sometimes I get charged more even tho I always order 6 tacos and 1 jarritos,its been from a little over 15 and sometimes I was charged a little over 16 to 17 each person seems to charge a bit different not sure why hope they can get that figured out as I like to bring cash and not like using my card still tho it's a great place. read more

Cheap, authentic, and delicious. One of the better places in Lewis County and the Olympia area--I usually go with the tacos or tamales. The special with beans and rice are about $5.50 and pretty good. Worth a stop for good, cheap, authentic Mexican food. read more

This truck will sell you some of the best tacos you have ever eaten. I don't really know what else to say about it! For $6 I can get 5 tacos (I prefer the pork) and a soda, and leave feeling like I just ate a little piece of heaven. For the more adventurous types, you can order a wide variety of meats for your tacos. I've tried the chorizo (delicious) and tripas. They even make tripas taste good, although I think I will stick to the port. If you are feeling hungry try the "La Gloria Trevi" torta. Been there twice this week and both times I was over charged, can't understand the man waiting on me and he couldn't understand me. Takes a long time to get food and didn't get order right. When I went back and told him he shorted me on food ha said ok and fixed the food for me then tried to tell me I didn't pay for it. I said yes I did, he finally said ok. You never know what your being charged because they don't offer a receipt, the first time I was charged 5.00 tax on a 21.00 order. The food is very good. read more

Excellent street tacos! We tried both the barbacoa and carnitas, it took about ten minutes because they obviously cook it fresh. I would come back and highly recommend this truck!
