Had terrible experience with this restaurant last night. Ordered over phone, paid with a credit card, giving all info including 3 digit code on back. They were irresponsible with my personal info and after delivery had delivery person call me demanding my card info (17.95 bill) again. He came back to my house terrifying me leaning on bell and banging on door. I called restaurant and they told me they were going to call cops on me for stealing. Bizarre. And frightening. Ugh... thank god I did not waste my own money on this place. We used a gift certificate. Wine, good. App of clams oraganato neither good nor bad, I got the gnocchi, it was flavorless, my husband got the seafood over black linguini. The minute it came out I knew that it was over cooked. The seafood was so chewy and over done. The pasta was over cooked, and mushy it was also fettuccini not linguini. The dessert, was neither good nor bad. We had to ask for refills on water. Unscrupulous owner! I placed an order through the Slice app on May 16. I paid for it on the Slice app. unknowingly my husband paid again when he went to the store to pick up said order. Once I realizedwe paid twice I called the store and spoke to the owner's son Chris. He could not have been nicer. He told me it's no problem he just has to talk to the owner and he would give me my money back. He asked if I had a receipt I told him no. I've never kept a receipt from a pizza shop because I would never have the need for it as i would never be returning anything. He told me don't worry let me talk to the owner and I'll call you back. Days went by I heard nothing, I called again. Same story no problem let me talk to the owner. He said the owner would call me. Another week went by and again I heard nothing. I called again was told that the owner is only in at night so to call back at night. Of course I did and surprise he want available again My husband went into the store spoke to the manager she said don't worry, no problem we will give your money back let me talk to the owner. This went on for three weeks between talking to the manager and talking to the son with no resolution . The owner never had the decency to call me back. Finally the manager called me back to tell me that the owner refused to give me my money back but would not he would give me a store credit. Wire with what I want to store credit why would I ever go back to this pizza shop after the way I've been treated. At this point I couldn't care less about the $32. I've already spent more than $32 worth of my time on this. It is 100% about the principal. The owner of the store knows he is 100% wrong and refuses to give me my money back. He knows he has been paid twice for the same order. I have now had to contact my bank the slice up and the Better Business Bureau. To this date I still have not received my money back. read more

I ate here on Thursday( the snow day when everyone was stuck for hours). The food was very good and the staff was very nice and friendly. They let us stay and didn't rush us out when we couldn't really go anywhere. The inside is very nice, warm, and cozy. BUYER BEWARE I was a frequent customer as my grandsons love the thin crust personal pizzas.....but never again. My daughter who was also a good customer placed an order online through SLICE and paid via credit card . Her husband went to pick up the $32.00 order and did not know she had already paid online . When he got home she called the restaurant immediately to inform them that they paid for the order TWICE . She was informed it wouldn't be a problem and when the owner came in he would contact her......this info provided by the owners son ! This was on MAY 16 Th. Too make a long story short, weeks have passed. Each time she calls to speak to the owner they claim he is not in. Then she was told they would not return her money but issue a store credit, to which she refused . Weeks of calling with no result. She has now filed a claim with the Bank for the credit card and is also trying to reach SLICE. This restaurant has now lost 2 families who ordered from there frequently . Very obnoxious for a business owner , all over $32.00 !!!! read more

This place deserves 5 stars because the food is delicious the problem is the guy in the front who you order from for take out is extremely rude and it really makes you not want to even go in the restaurant. I would love to write a raving review, unfortunately that's impossible! The lack of professionalism and accountability for food they dish out is sad. What looks like a pound of Penne alla Vodka with 3 shrimp for $25 is a blatant rip off. I called and spoke with Debbie, Troy and Victor they offered to remedy the situation, but changed their mind a few hours later when i called back. I went in yesterday for the first time. I ordered a personal pan. I asked the guy behind the counter how much he said $4. I said ok. Very friendly. The others who worked there also greeted me hello. While I was waiting one of the other workers asked the guy behind the counter "how much did you tell her the personal pan was" he replied "$4" the worker says but it's "4.95" he then replies " whatever I'll tell her it's $5 after tax". I heard the whole convo. Maybe he thought I was an immigrant who didn't understand English I don't know. I didn't say anything there. I really wanted to say "hello I heard what you said" I should of only paid $4 and walked out but I remained cool paid him $5 and left. I was annoyed at what he said. He could of just came to me and said listen I'm sorry o told you $4 but it's $4.95. I would of said no problem no big deal. I own a business it's an honest mistake. Overall Casa Mia is a great place. I ordered delivery last night, came in a timely fashion, person taking the order was very nice and polite. I ordered the gnocchi Bolognese, Chicken parm personal Pie, minestrone soup, and garlic bread with mozzarella. Everything came out to about $37 +$5 tip(which u can add to credit card when ordering on phone --a plus!) The gnocchi was ok, was not bad at all, just not really my thing I guess and felt a little on the salty side but decent flavor. The minestrone soup was very good, lots of chunks of veggies broth was good, nice consistency not too watery not too thick..was on point. The chicken parm personal Pie was good, nice size, not too overbearing or oily just the right amount of everything--only thing was the crust was ehh Not to great but overall good. The garlic bread was good not overly oily- bread was soft and was a good amount of bread for the price. They gave me a lot of bread with my order--gave me what looked like half a hero for the pasta and half hero for the soup. So just be wary they do give bread as an Xtra side..it was a bit of bread overload because I had ordered the garlic bread as well, but no complaints more food the better haha.. ----I've ordered take out in the past and have had their eggplant parm on a hero --it's amazing..my fav thing here!!. Overall not too expensive, good amount of food. I've never had a sit down meal at the restaurant so can't review that..but overall great place to get some good Italian food. I gave this place a second chance again, wasted my money. As my name states I am a Chef that has written an Italian cookbook. Nothing about this restaurant screams Italian. It screams old, reused, unseasoned food. The first time I tried it I got the personal pizza. The cheese tasted processed, the sauce was bland, and the crust was cardboard. Tonight I had the chicken house salad and Fried Calamari. The secret to fried calamari is to soak it for 30 seconds in seltzer water. Season it with salt and pepper when you take it out and season the batter you are using with salt and pepper. Don't just throw it in corn starch and fry it. That is what this tasted like. Pure cornstarch! Now onto the salad. When making a mixed green salad the secret is actually using more than 3 greens. All greens have a specific taste, and if you don't mix them properly you get two taste. Mine tasted like liquorish and pepper because only two greens were used primarily. Now onto the chicken, dry, bland, and OLD! Hint chicken after the first day has a distinct taste. OLD! The bacteria in chicken grows and changes the texture and taste. The onions were old and waterlogged, the same with the cucumbers, the only saving grace was the tomatoes. At least they were fresher than everything else! This place is to new to be having these problems. Hint invest in your kitchen staff and pay them more. Make sure they are actually trained in food preparation and sanitation. Make sure they are trained in the cuisine that you are selling! read more

Just ate dinner there with my spouse, I had the salmon with potato croquet and string beans. Amazing , the fish was as fresh as if you just returned from the fish monger. Nice portion too. Wife had broccoli rabe , and pasta a large serving too. The service was excellent and the decor fresh and relaxing. My fiance and I stopped in on a whim and couldn't have been happier with Casa Mia. From the minute we walked in, the owner Chris made us feel at home. The place is new and tastefully decorated with a romantic vibe. Our server Vinny was fantastic and provided exceptional service from start to finish. The bread was fresh and crusty, the lentil soup was hearty, and the cheese ravioli was a touch aldente. Just the way I like it. Their sauce is on the sweeter side. Smooth. Not too chunky. My fiance had chicken parm with a croquet, and enjoyed her meal as much as I did my own. All in all, a solid place for some good Italian. read more

I placed a delivery order for the nearest italian restaurant near by me and to my surprise it was one of the best italian foods ive had ever. Horrible experience. I've gone about 5 times already and the food is always salty ( including the pizza). I decided to give it another chance today. As I got upstairs I realized they messaged my order up and gave me clams instead of filet of sole. I called and told them of the mix up and they said I had to pay the price of the fish.
