Consistently great pizza! I order the white pizza every other week on avg. and think it's the best one I've had in the neighborhood hands down. They don't skimp on the ricotta, in fact I'm pretty sure they throw down, going above and beyond. In addition, I order the arugula salad and mozzarella sticks. Both are good compliments and recently they've stepped up their mozz stick game. The breading is not as thick and the cheese is overflowing in every stick. 10/10 would agree these are a surprising upgrade from a company who didn't necessarily have to make the change in the first place. I placed an order during Covid on Uber eats and the delivery was perfect, but when you I got my order I was appalled. The paper bag was wide open and the chicken roll I ordered wasn't even wrapped properly in the foil paper. It was open and exposed. It was such careless packaging! Especially during Covid. Let's start off by saying I ordered take out over the phone I was put on hold for 15 mins , the customer service for take out food was horrible! Had the meat Lasagne and my DH had the Sirloin Steak with a side of Alfredo Pasta. Steak was decent but hubby regretted not having Lasagne.They make fresh sour dough bread and serve it with the entree! The Tiramisu was good but was a bit icy from the fridge. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with Penne Pasta. The food and service was amazing. Their new manager Jaime is extremely efficient and time conscious. This place is a hole in the wall in Yonkers. Very easy to miss wedged between the Dunkin and CVS. It was a pleasant surprise. The small pizza was huge, 8 slices. Finally decided to dine in a restaurant after so many covid19 restrictions. We chose Casa Mia after only ordering take out for so long. The food ordered, gluten free veggie pizza, garden salad, garlic knots, lattes, Expresso and tiramisu was delicious. The waiter Rafael was very pleasant and quick with our order. They messed it up twice and I let it go but last time I watched them pick off the sausage because they messed up our Sicilian and then they didn't put the little plastic tables in right and all the cheese was stuck on the box. Would just like to mention the guy making the pies at the front needs to wear gloves when handling/preparing food, especially if he is being the cashier as well. Waitress put butter on the table...thought we'd get some bread while we waited....waited some more. Asked about the pizzas. She said sorry, 10 more minutes the guy in the front got slammed...there were 3 tables in the restaurant, 2 of which already had food. So this means that they were more concerned about filling grub hub orders than taking care of actual in person customers. This is a nice local spot. Quality is much better than a typical pizza joint. I think they are going for quality food at a mid point price range. I've tried many of their personal pies, mostly the meatless ones, and they are all delicious. I've also dined in and ate the Fra Diavlo and the Lobster Special. Everything was tasty and well priced. The service was outstanding and the manager also came over to greet us to make sure everything was fine. The place is cozy, and clean. The prices are higher than a typical pizza place, but so is the food quality. The taste is ok. They open late and after I get out of work it's a good option. Recently (02.03.17) my husband and I look a ride over to get a bite after work.. I ordered the personal size plain cheese pizza and garlic knots. But husband ate the garlic knots NO pizza.. I ate 2 garlic knots and some of the pizza. The next morning I woke up feeling sick, which isn't like me. I decided to go to work a little late and went back to bed. I took a 30 min snooze and that was it!!!...I THREW UP AND UP AND UP!!! Oh my FRIGGING GOODNESS!! That was all I ate Friday! I have never been this sick IN ALL OF MY 24 YEARS OF LIFE! 5 days later I'm still suffering! I got food poisoning! I will NEVERRRRRR EVER EVER return to this restaurant. They need to be inspected by the health department to ensure they are following the correct guidelines. Cross contamination is a serious problem. People can die from food related illnesses. They need to be closed down. ASAP. I don't wish this feeling on anyone. We found this little gem as we were driving on the Bronx River pkway heading home. We stopped in for a quick meal and discovered this cozy little spot with really good food. Since then we have returned several times just because the food is good and the price is very reasonable. We love the pizza there especially the white pizza and the chicken parm. If I can give this place zero stars, I would! So the first two staff in front of the established is unaware of the food items from the back. When I ask for the food by name, the staff members have to read out the description of the item. After ordering food with white wine (in which my actual Italian request was denied), I asked for a marinara sauce. I was then told that that my order was made with enough white wine sauce and I did not need it!! When I asked for the sauce to eat with bread, I was then told I have a lot of scampi sauce. The owner then heard me asking for the sauce and asked what was wrong. The owner then said that the sauce is very expensive and they cannot give marinara sauce to everyone. This is a cozy little spot in Yonkers to get a bite to eat. The personal pizzas are tasty and reasonably priced. Tonight was actually our third time eating at Casa Mia and each time was fabulous. Wednesday is lobster night, which is what brought us there this evening and we were not disappointed! As a first course, we had traditional Italian straciatella Florentine soup, that was perfectly cooked to order, so fresh! Then we shared the stuffed artichoke, which was also cooked perfectly. Usually I'm not a fan of this dish, because I always find it too dry, but not here! The artichoke was perfectly tender and moist. Now to our main course: In addition to the traditional steamed or broiled whole Maine lobster offered, our Server, a sweet gentleman offered a half lobster in a Zuppa de Pesce with calamari, clams, shrimp and mussels, which is what I ordered with two optional twists: fra diavolo-style, and with homemade squid ink fettuccine! Omg, it was to die for! Seriously, the best tasting ZdP I've ever had, and a very generous portion, I might add. It's very rare for me to eat carbs like pasta, but this time was definitely worth it! My husband had the lamb chops and they were cooked perfectly, delicious! On a recent visit, I had the chilled seafood salad (shrimp, squid, scallops) and it was the most refreshing I've ever had with obviously the freshest lemon juice and high quality olive oil and fresh parsley. The hubby ordered a couple of different personal pizzas since he was going to get one to-go afterwards anyway (figure ya might as well get a little variety while we're here). It was obvious that only the freshest ingredients are used here. I work in the business and have become quite the food snob, so it's refreshing to see a place in the neighborhood serving this quality at such a reasonable price. We were customers at the former tenant in that space, Valentino's, but everything had gotten a little stale there (literally).
