One of our all-inclusive dinner options, and we loved it. Delicious food, fabulous service (thank you Sergio - the taller one) with a nice open air pool-side ambiance. Asked for a table by the TVs so we could watch the Padre game, and they were able to accommodate us. Reservations are recommended, but it's a slow season right now. I had the Filet (which is part of the all-inclusive... ribeye is extra) and my wife had the Pasta Carbonara. Both were super delicious! Finished with the chocolate cake and apple pie, both of which were fabulous. Only downside was it's open air, and it's hot outside right now. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

This is our first visit at our all inclusive resort It's pretty darn good. I was not crazy about their ceviche ....It was like chunks of cooked tuna The shrimp tacos were delish but I've had better The service staff is excellent We flew in from San Francisco this morning We had breakfast here, also, and the pineapple French toast and croissant with poached egg and bacon was amazing Last time we went we had a Philly sandwich and San Daniele pizza The pizza is big prosciutto and spinach it was just okay Since none of the other restaurant here have a yelp page, danzantes was amazing (lamb chops, Cesar salad, shrimp salad ) And so was casa club we had the excellent scallops for appetizer The crab roll was okay And we shared the big Mexican plate which had flautas steak quesadilla etc

Fettuccine with fresh pesto and prawns.

Excellent service with fantastic food. Fresh pesto with fettuccine and large shrimp, wonderful! The Diavolo sauce is exceptional. Best tiramisu I've ever had. Enjoy!!

Loved this restaurant! If you're looking for a good restaurant at this resort, this is the place. Big portions, delicious flavors and great customer service. I did wish this resort had more options, but lunch and dinner menus were so good! We had the pleasure of having Dario as our server and he was the BEST!!! My favorite guy on the resort. We were there for 4 nights and he took such good care of us. Such a pleasure of meeting him. First day we had pizza there and it was scrumptious! Another night we had dinner and the bread was soo good! I had the bolognese and my date got the steak. He loved the steak so much, he said it was perfect cooked. It was his birthday and they brought out this chocolate cake with macaroon and a sparkler. They really know how to take care of you here! I loved the view during the day. You got to see the beach and the windows are all open so it's perfect. It does get a bit hot at night but that's okay. This restaurant is a 10/10 for me! Thank you again Dario!!!

The occasional sighting of armed guards strolling the property at Villa Del Palmar Loreto will remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy. They will save you from Captain Hook while you sip your Margarita just inches from the food prep area at Casa Mia. Pathogens probably have a slightly better chance of getting to you here than pirates do. I enjoyed several meals at Casa Mia during our stay; even after seeing the food prep area located practically under my nose at the bar. Yes, I survived...unscathed. My dangerous living has earned me less than a handful of cases of food poisoning and an equally unimpressive but shiny Yelp Maverick badge. Bottom line: don't expect the same food prep standards that you may be accustomed to but don't let the differences scare you either. You've probably eaten all sorts of hidden creatures without even realizing it so get over it already. The service was excellent with friendly yet professional bilingual servers who speak English quite well. Not the fastest service but if you're here you probably aren't (or at least should try not to be) in a hurry anyway. The guacamole was very good. The fish ceviche wasn't bad, though I wasn't overly impressed. The fish tacos were very tasty and the strawberry salad was good although I wasn't impressed with the grilled chicken on top. The Caesar salad comes wrapped in a crunchy parmesan cheese roll and is quite tasty but I'm pretty sure the dressing was mayo so skip that unless you're a fan or they make a change. I have to say that my favorite meal here was actually dessert: tiramisu and iced Mexican coffee. Guacamole and a margarita came in a close second. The all-inclusive felt like Mardis Gras and I ate way too much. I loved the guacamole but since my hubby doesn't eat guac, I ended up enjoying entire guacamole appetizers by myself. Oink, Oink. Overall, the food was fairly decent although out of the three restaurants at Villa Del Palmar Loreto, Casa Mia wasn't as good as the Market Restaurant and didn't even come close to the quality of Danzante. Casa Mia will get my 2 pesos about improving food safety once I finish completing their survey. If they make some positive changes I may consider increasing their star rating. Until then, I'll give VDP Loreto 5 stars for protecting me from pirates but Casa Mia just 3 for protecting me from pathogens and only slightly wowing my palate.

Fish of the day and shrimp.

Food was ok. Wasn't super impressed with the flavors. Fish was dry and the fettuccine sauce lacked the Parmesan flavor. Limited on food options in the resort and was disappointed with food.

    Fish of the day-sea bass

Here for vacation. We are enjoying the food here. The specialty of this area are chocolate clams. Here they are baked Italian style with tomatoes garlic parsley and cheese. It is delicious there are 20 clams in one serving. Then we had their nachos with shrimp. Portion is very generous. Dinner was sauté mushrooms in garlic and butter, calamari sautéed with garlic butter onions and olives. Delicious. Dinner was catch of the day, which was sea bass and a combination of shrimp and fish. You have got to try this place

Nachos and mango margarita! Omg amazing:)

The food, the service, the atmosphere.. 5 stars across the board. I have eaten here every day since I've arrived, not only because of the nachos and mango margaritas, but also because the service is so amazing. Casa Mia is linked to the pool area, so you are able to order off their menu and the food will be delivered right to your lounge chair. The servers are always coming around to make sure everything is to your liking.. which I love. Eating at the actual restaurant is also great if you are looking for a more casual dining experience since the other 2 restaurants at the resort are a little more upscale. I would recommend coming for lunch after a long and tiring morning or swimming and sun bathing. The food will not only re-energize you, it will also put you in a good mood! Tacos, enchiladas, nachos, margaritas..Mexican comfort food at its finest. Traditional lunch delights, such as club sandwiches, burgers, and chicken wings, are also served here for those American tourists that want something a little more familiar. When eating at the restaurant, you are also started off with complimentary chips, salsa, and guacamole. The salsa and guacamole are both so fresh! Overall, amazing service, friendly chefs and waiters, and yummy bar food.

The tacos were loaded with perfectly cooked meat, grilled onions, fresh pico, and then you get to hit the little salsa station to top it exactly how you like it. Great variety and just the right amount of heat. And the pescado... unreal. It was so amazing I didn't even get a photo because I basically swallowed it whole . That's how good it was. What really stood out though was the kindness of the people running it. Super welcoming, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they care about what they're serving. Simple spot, amazing food, awesome people. If you're in Loreto, don't miss this place.

Came back after noon, and it was quite busy. It's a little confusing because no one greets you at the door, nor is there an order counter. But just grab a seat wherever you can find one, and someone will come to get your order. They had 4 options available that day. We got the fish and carne asada. Go with flour tortillas if you can. I usually prefer corn, but we got a couple of each, and the flour were the best. All the tacos were delicious and having the salsa/topping bar is great, so you can add whatever hot sauce, salsas, and veggies. There were only 2 workers there, but they were working their butts off. Definitely try it out - just be prepared to be patient - it's worth it. They are super nice and the food is great!
