The only reason I docked one star is because it took about an hour to get our 3 clams and scallops and even longer to get the fries because they forgot those. This place needs 10 stars. It's on the beach, it's reasonable, it's peaceful, the food is absolutely delicious, simple and fresh. It's cooked to bring the freshness of the seafood straight to your palate. The staff speaks English, they're friendly and cater to tourists but without tourist pricing. We brought our kids and they played in the sea while we could enjoy a drink before the food arrived. read more

Absolutely amazing shrimp ceviche with a great view of the Sea of Cortes. We also enjoyed the Baja fish tacos and fried shrimp. The service was very friendly and perfectly paced for our visit. This was our favorite dining experience while in Loreto. read more

This place was good! The view of the ocean is already a plus, but service was fast and friendly. Prices reasonable and the food has giant portions. The only note, and there's really not much they can do about it, is that there are tons of flies since you are eating outside. Otherwise is great! read more

On the beach with amazing views. Tables and chairs are set up on the sand and they don't have electricity. That is part of what makes this place an awesome fish shack. We had clams, octopus tacos, salsa, pescado tacos, shrimp cocktail and ice cold beers. All were excellent. read more

If you like flan like I like flan, you must go to The Clam Shack. It is just south of Nopolo or Loreto Bay in MX, Baja Sur. I love flan and am always looking for a good one. I have never had one as flavorful and silky smooth as what The Clam Shack sells. I don't know if they have it everyday or not. You must try it! Their seafood and margaritas are also very good. In addition, it sets right on the beach and is very reasonably priced. read more

Great little open air restaurant alongside highway 1 outside of Loreto (South). They also go by the moniker "the clam shack" and I guess are pretty well known for their clams. My wife and I however had breaded shrimp tacos and shrimp ceviche on tostadas to go along with a couple of cold Pacificos! Great lunch, very very casual atmosphere, good service low cost, all you could ask for in a seaside open air dining experience with super fresh seafood! Loved it and would recommend highly, just don't expect AC, the fresh (and hot) sea breeze is what you get!! read more
