It's small but has quite many seats, the lady is very friendly. She gave me a photo album to order from which is so fun and I have never seen anything like this before and every restaurant should 10000000% do the same. I ordered the 酸辣肥肠粉 pork intestine sour spicy noodle(added an egg) and potato shreds cold stir凉拌土豆丝 Ok I have to to say, the potato dish is THE BEST i have had in canada and it is a very very high compliment from me, since I order that whenever I can. It's soooo good and I ate the whole plate in a few mins. The pork intestine noodle is so so, I wish there are more pork intestine, I had 4-5 pieces and they r quite small, the egg tho, is sooooo good, it's worth it to add one to the noodle. They also add a ton of peanuts so if u have allergies u need to tell them, they wont ask u. She also gave me a small ice jelly dessert for free in the end, it tastes so good??!!! I am so full at this point otherwise I would ask if I can eat a full portion one lol Overall I will come back！

This place is tiny, as in it can seat about 20 people, and every table had people and had piping hot food on each. Both me and my friend needed to wait a few minutes till someone left, and when we got seated, they gave us their regular menu, and later on gave us a picture book.. and if you guessed it.... everything on their menu with a separate picture. My friend ordered his bowl of spicy pork chop glass noodles in soup, and I had a dry version of spicy noodles with pork. We also ordered their deep fried tofu, deep fried chicken, and a plate of spicy cucumber. Every dish was done just right, and what I mean by that is that every hot dish seemed to be made to order, and it was confirmed when we spoke to the lady there. The spicy cucumber dish came out, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients, the cucumber, although the chili oil used was spicy, due to the freshness of the cucumber, was sweet too. The deep fried tofu had a nice hard outer deep fried shell, and yet the inside was soft and really hot, the chicken took the longest, but this was worth waiting for, with the thin deep fried batter, I don't think I have ever had chicken this hot in temperature, and it was great. Both noodle dishes were huge, and I wondered how my friend ended up eating all of his, I had to take 1/3 of mine home as it was too much. We also ordered a plum drink and a hawthorne drink and at the end was served complimentary jelly as dessert. This was a great meal and if you are in the area, I would recommend you try this place out.

Once inside, the decor has a beautiful, ancient Chinese feel. We ordered a spice level 2 for Sichuan-style fish and smoked bamboo shoots with pork, and while both dishes definitely had a kick, they were deliciously spicy. That Sichuan fish was literal perfection--so melt-in-your-mouth tender it was a dream with the steamed rice. But the real sleeper hit? The smoked bamboo shoots. The texture was incredible and the smoky flavor was so addictive we couldn't stop eating it!

The smoked meat rice was interesting and also very flavourful.

As we sat down and got our tea, the first thing one of the managers did was start suggesting what seafood is in season. This is a common practice to sell the highest price seafood - and it's ok when it happens the first time. But he mentioned it again on 2nd walk-by. And then the other manager tried it too. I felt the first time was enough. We decided to go with the set menu for 6. For the most part the food was fine. It generally tasted good, and the cost was reasonable. But what bothered me were the managers. Our set menu dishes came out in quick succession. One of the servers brought out one the dishes apparently in the wrong order, and the manager decided to yell and curse at her in the middle of the dining room for making the "mistake". But it was set menu, so the dish basically came back out 2 minutes later, so I didn't understand what difference it made. Seemed like a power trip to me. Normally, decent food and substandard service would mean a two star rating. But how the managers went with the incessant upselling and how they treat their staff - immediately deserves the lowest rating. I would not return.
