The service is spot on- they will make anything you ask, they are friendly and super accommodating. The food and decor is authentic. One time I accidentally ordered the wrong tacos, they took it back and remade it, no extra charge. For my son's birthday last month, they didn't hesitate to keep the the birthday cake cold while we ate, then brought it out to to sing and do candles, even cut it and served for us. Some people in my party loved and recommended this place. It definitely had a locals, family vibe. To me, it was a let down. While service was ok, and the food was edible, it just wasn't very good. I had Casa Maria tacos today earlier today at a community event through Father Fest at Workforce Connection. They were so delicious we decided to have dinner at the restaurant. Great choice! I had the pozole today and it was flavorful. Nice cold beers. The restaurant is also such a great location, clean, beautifully decorated. They can be a little short staffed but the food is amazing and the fried ice cream is unlike ANY I've had before. I always order the same things. The shredded beef enchiladas rice and beans are a solid choice and haven't let me down. They limit each table to one order of chips and salsa ($1.50 to order any extra) but it's all fresh ingredients made in house so it's understandable. Their soup is also always good but sometimes needs a little kick of flavor. Their horchata is creamy and delicious but they load the cup up with so much ice it goes quick. COVID-19 phase I called in and ordered a grilled chicken bowl with vegetables, boiled beans and jalapeños. The worker said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to get it. You just walk up to the door and let them know you ordered. There is a table sticking out of the door where you pick up your order. The workers are masked and masks are required. They have outdoor eating and Spanish music playing. My order was brought to me shortly later. Paid for it via a handheld computer. Added the tip and was able to set it up to where the receipt was sent to my email. After that the worker wished me well. The grilled chicken burrito bowl was delicious! Fresh and tasty! Yum! It had chicken, boiled beans a nice spicy hot salsa they included that I added, boiled beans, tomatoes, lettuce and jalapenos. Really good! They had fantastic tortilla chips too! Went to dinner here with family tonight. Service was absolutely horrible. We were ignored by our waitress and tried to get the attention of other servers walking by to refill waters, get more chips, salsa and other items. Not once did the waitress come check on our table of 6. They brought us our tortillas after we were almost done eating our meal with no apology. When I finally said something to one of the servers at the end of our meal, the waitress finally brought us water. Upon leaving, I told the hostess that this was the lousiest service I have ever had at their restaurant. She was unapologetic and very defensive. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was gone. I will never come back to Casa Maria. I like their food, but this one experience was enough to make me never go back there. read more

This place had good service and decent food, but nickel and dime you for everything. They charge for every extra basket of chips, $1.00 for an extra plate, and $1.26 to use your credit card. Ridiculous in this day and age. They also upcharged for asada on our nachos without even telling us they would. I guess it's considered a "premium" meat. This place is fine. Everyone seemed nice but it took a little long for the server to show up. The albondigas were ok but I think it's just my preference. The broth was kind of thick with lots of chile powder in it. I would try the food again but maybe pick something more common. Everyone seemed to really be enjoying the menudo. read more

They have a menu for everyone (vegetarian, kids and classic Mexican food enthusiasts) which makes this restaurant a great place for everyone with a hungry stomach. SUPER disappointed with my nopales and eggs. My first time ordering this and I was wondering where the eggs were? It looks like maybe 1 egg and a pile of veggies in which I love veggies but I hoped to see some egg? I only ate the beans. I asked the waitress (Nordy) I believe that's how you pronounce her name ( and she herself noticed there was hardly no egg but told me if I had a problem with it I should have said something right when the girl brought the plate out ugh sorry it was 5 minutes later because that's how long it took for her to come back. She didn't offer to fix it so I just told her I won't order this again and her reply was " that's fine " Point of my complaint is good customer service just doesn't exist anymore, it seems like restaurants don't care if you come back or not. We went for lunch today based on recommendations from FB. I decided to get the Torta Ahogada which comes with carnitas. When it came out to the table my husband and I were amazed. It's served in a soup bowl and definitely drowned in the sauce. The people at the table next to us leaned over to ask what I got because it looked so good. Our server was new and mistakes happen...but when the owner of the business tried to use the green server as an excuse for not getting food right..the management's attitude and DISCRIMINATION, it's absolutely appalling. My uncle who is INDIAN was screamed at all because he tried to explain that the food was not correct (not eaten because it was not correct) and after going back and forth with this woman said that they didn't want the food she stated she would only take off 10% off the untouched food. No, we are not paying for food that isn't what we ordered, the owner was yelling and trying to start a verbal altercation. I purchased a dealsaver for Casa Maria and on a busy errand day I called and placed an order to go. I ordered the shredded beef nachos and guacamole to go. The nachos are HUGE! I wasn't able to eat all of them, and I don't think they would be finished if I shared them! The nachos come with a huge helping of melted cheddar and Monterey jack cheese and tons of meat. They also top the nachos with sour cream and guacamole. It was very heavy, but would pair nicely with a beer. They have $2.50 beer specials everyday! read more

OMG! Found my new place for Menudo and Pozole. So good! The service is quick. They probably know my husband by now bc of how often he goes to get us theses soups. And the best part of these soups! IS THEY ARE SERVED EVERYDAY! I cannot thank them enough for committing to serve them everyday. Do you know how rare this is? So rare. This is the first restaurant I've know to do this.
