This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. The inside is so cute, plenty of seating for a small cafe. There's also outside seats for when it's nice out! The Dulce de Leche latte is amazing, I've only had it iced but oh my. It is sweet so if you don't go for a sweeter coffee, it's not going to be your jam. And their breakfast sandwiches are divine. I always get a ham egg and cheese on a croissant and it's perfect every time. The workers have always been so kind and so lovely. No notes. 10/10

Too delicious to take a pic beforehand....

Ended up here by accident - no parking a local diner, saw their sign, and decided "why not?". So glad we did. I got Strawberry Fields crepes which was strawberries, Nutella, and white chocolate - delicious and reminded me of a trip to Montreal. Took a real risk on the Strawberry Fields Latte (I'm usually not a fruity coffee person) - it was delicious! I was stunned. So good that my husband, who had thoroughly enjoyed his cappuccino, got one on the way out. The place is small and intimate but also has lots of outdoor seating. Definitely recommend.

Not impressed. First of all, they only have five car spots outside, so parking is stressful. Second, the coffee is just bad. I got the oat milk latte with cinnamon powder, and I threw the cup out after a few sips. The vibe, though, is extremely cozy and welcoming, so I relaxed for a bit and enjoyed the rumba flamenco music they had playing. But the coffee just wasn't worth it.

I think giving three stars may be generous here. Order at the counter. The front end woman did not know much about the menu. I asked what fresh bagels or pastries that they offer this morning. THey said none....we have bialys and bagels that are fresh delivered and then frozen. - Er no thanks. At least their water was hot enough to brew a cup of tea. COVID guidelines seem to be in place with signage, masks and gloves. Bathroom was clean but the paper towel dispenser was broken. We order the chicken club crepe- which came out cold? Cheese was melted inside and bacon was hot but the crepe was not off the griddle. It also had a topping of shredded yellow cheese, cherry tomatoes, and scallions which made it pretty. Did not taste bad but I think the crepe was previously made in advance. ENglish muffins were not buttered. Service was absent and lacking. We were the only customers there on a Sunday morning. It was chilly inside as well as the cold metal chairs. ALso the front door walkway was all ice and not shoveled. This is the way to exit and a safety issue. (see photo).

This was how the croissant was served. It was undercooked, and had a really weird flavor.

We are new to the area, and trying every coffee place around to find our spot. This place didn't even make the list unfortunately. Upon arriving, we thought the parking was really convenient, and even had an entrance with a ramp connected for easy access. Upon entering, the decor looked awesome. It has a great layout, but right off the bat something didn't feel right. We were the only ones there, and despite being names "Casa Java" it didn't smell like coffee at all. The staff were very friendly, and let us take our time with the menu, after explaining it was our first time. I ordered a medium iced latte with a croissant, while my husband order a Milky Way latte with a chocolate muffin for the grand total of about $20. When the food came out, I was shocked. The croissant was undercooked and looked like someone rolled it in a ball. It was absolutely disgusting (see my photo). Both drinks were burnt and we are fairly certain the milk was sour. The chocolate muffin was the only decent thing about our order. We decided to go here because of the positive reviews, so I'm not sure why our experience was drastically different. However, I am certain that I won't be back here any time soon.

The place is beautiful and I was really looking forward to trying it but it's waaayyy overpriced. I paid over $18 for a crepe that was just ok and an iced chai with almond milk. The prices aren't listed on the wall, you have to look at the paper menu. I would have saved money had I gone to sbux. I think that says a lot.

The interior felt bright and airy, with light woods and cream/off-white tones. The space carried a slightly upscale coffee shop feel, but without the snooty third-wave energy of plastering tasting notes and bean origins everywhere. I got a large cold brew ($5.50) and a pour over ($6). At the pour over's price point, I would have expected more than one coffee bean option. Service came across as cordial, with my pour over brought out to the table. The establishment offered free Wi-Fi; even on a Labor Day afternoon, multiple people set up to work.

The service was very good. I wound up getting the gluten free waffle which was delicious. Wouldn't even know it's gluten free. It had a great flavor and texture. I asked if there was fruit to add on it but there was not at the time but the employee was nice enough to offer a raspberry jam as an alternative. They also make and have real maple syrup. I got an iced coffee to drink with oat milk. I enjoyed the coffee. There's street parking. I came on a Sunday so the parking was free. Quaint place. Your order then get a number and sit at a table and they bring your items to you. Just a couple seats outside. They also carried a few gluten free desserts like cookies and brownies and have season banana bread. I'll have to go back and try them another time.

The offerings include several signature crepes (savory and sweet), plus paninis, salads, soups, smoothies, tea drinks, and cold bottled drinks. The crepes served here are folded instead of rolled. Free samples of the crepes are usually handed out in front of the counter. The crepe prices are $5.45 (sweet crepes) $7.45-$7.95 (Vegetarian) and $7.45-$8.95 (signature (savory) crepes). The paninis with kettle chips are $7.95, sides extra. Salads are $4.95-$6.95. The service is quick after ordering and you can watch the staff make your food to order. I've stopped here at this location several times for the paninis in particular, which are actually pretty good! I enjoy the Tuna Panini, which is stuffed with plenty of albacore tuna salad, melted mozzarella cheese, tomato, romaine lettuce, and hot pressed on soft ciabatta bread. The kettle chips are salted and very crunchy. I also get a small side of pasta salad for $1 more. The sweet crepes and signature crepes I've had at Appleseed are pretty standard, which are folded in a triangle shape. I've had the Paris (filled with sliced bananas, Nutella, topped with powdered sugar, & toasted almonds) and Boston (filled with cinnamon apples & ricotta cheese, topped with caramel, whipped cream, & powdered sugar). The crepes were a bit messy to eat and tasted pretty good and very sweet. I only wish Appleseed offered gelato with their crepes, which would be great! As for the savory crepes, I've enjoyed the Atlantic (albacore tuna, mozzarella, romaine, and honey dijon sauce) and 1773 (smoked salmon, romaine, mixed baby leaves, zinfandel vinaigrette, & dressing in a spinach crepe). Both were good and tasty lunch crepes.
