    Chicken Enchiladas no cheese

Food was really good! Nice team and truly authentic food and atmosphere! Even when I asked for no cheese on my food it was still very delicious!

The people are so personable! And the food is authentic and so so good. If I ever need a vegan meal.. she knows just what to make and it's always a win/win solution! Cynthia is great!

inside of drink menu. Was told to ignore happy hour portion of menu as they dont do it anymore (its listed on their website)

My review is technically 3.5 stars. I would have been 4.5 stars BUT were a bit disppointed when we arrived early and was told even though their drink menu AND website states happy hour before 6pm (we arrived at 415pm)...to ignore the happy hour part of the drink menu. The chips and salsa were a nice distraction ;) the salsa like some posted is on the hotter side, but we enjoyed it. We also asked for a side of refried beans. We ordered the carne asada y combinacion with the chile relleno. Comes with rice and beans, lettuce and pico de gallo. We got flour tortillas with it too. BIG meal and It was super tasty. We did order the BLACKBERRY margarita per the waitresses suggestion. It was TASTY too!!! There are a lot of good mexican in the PNW. If im in the area I may come back.

Agua Chile Verde!! This is the worst agua Chiles I had ever tried

this is the worst agua chiles I've tried yaks It looks like they grabbed a bunch of shrimps and poured avocado taco sauce on top of the shrimps, the the shrimps wasn't even marinated with limes, & agua chiles never come with tomatoes , chicken mole & chicken fajitas Was also the worst!! I had ever tried , there's nothing authentic about this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it!!

Wow - what a great spot for dinner! We tried several restaurants on the block but most are closed…read moreon Mondays, so we wandered into Centro. Small amount of seating inside - maybe 3-4 booths, 2 tables and 6 seats at the bar, but they have more seating outside which was fully enclosed and heated. We snagged the last table inside and ordered chips and queso to start. Frankly made flour tortilla chips that were thick and crunchy - the perfect vessel for the queso sauce which was perfectly cheesy and delish. For dinner my husband got the Barbadilla and I asked our server if he would recommend the lime-cilantro chicken or chicken tinga for the Calabaza Quesadilla and he recommended the chicken tinga - he did not stead me wrong! Huge portions of meat in the quesadilla - I only ate a third and am having the rest for lunch tomorrow. The two servers could not have been nicer or more helpful and our dinner arrived in record time. We spent $65 for our two entrees, appetizer, a coke and a beer before tip. Love having such awesome restaurants in B-Town!

The Centro Bowl is consistently satisfying and never disappoints. Great flavors and a solid, reliable choice every time. The Tlayuda, however, was a bit underwhelming. It was difficult to eat and the portion felt small, leaving us wanting more. Overall, we still enjoy Centro for its atmosphere and dependable dishes, good service. We'll definitely be back, and the Centro Bowl will remain our go-to order.

I'm honestly mad I didn't come sooner…read more The birria caldo was absolutely amazing - rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a homemade taste that you just can't fake. You can tell it's made with love and tradition. The meat was tender, juicy, and soaked up all that deep, savory broth in the best way possible. On top of that, the customer service was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It really felt like one of those hidden gems where the food AND the people both stand out. If you're anywhere near Burien and craving birria. don't think twice. This place is it I can't wait to try more items on their extensive menu! They also have a dessert place adjacent.

The chips were fried fresh and were so hot, I had to wait to eat it. They were crunchy and perfectly fried. The bean dip was delicious and smooth sprinkled with cotija cheese. The tacos were delicious and crunchy and had a good amount of meat and cheese in it. The consome was okay. It was flavorful, but needed more salt. It was a great way to eat the tacos though! The service was great! Took my order right away and answered questions I had. She then brought out the food for me.

What grabbed…read moreour attention with it was that they serve Huitlacoche which I'd a corn fungus which is a delicacy in Mexico and Central America. It's something that is pretty rare to find with all of the Mexican restaurants I have been to El Catrin is the only one where it has been found. We had it on the side with rice, lettuce and tomato. The flavor for it is mushroom like with a sweet, savory, woody and smoky flavor that is corn like. It was very unique and delicious! In addition to that we got some totally awesome nachos which out of this world! We made a second trip back here and I got their Chile Relleno which totally blew me away! It was fabulous! The tortillas that came with it were simply marvelous! Steve got an excellent quesadilla! The wait may be a tad long but it's so worth waiting for. I really can't praise the food enough! We are located in Tacoma and El Catrin is in an unincorporated Seattle neighborhood and so the drive is at least half an hour on a good day but we wouldn't hesitate in making a trip up here just for this restaurant! I can't say that for many restaurants but I certainly would with El Catrin. Fresh, flavorful and a sheer delight we will be coming here with any opportunity we can seize!
