Amazing food and service! 5 stars all the way! Very friendly staff! Pastel is amazing and so are the coxinha and the brigadeiros !!!!

If you want to experience Brazilian take-away, and baked goods, this place makes some pretty terrific empanadas, pastels, cakes and pastries, both savory and sweet. I particularly liked the pastel with hearts of Palm and corn. The chicken empanadas were a bit dry. The ham and cheese empanada was outstanding. Their take on carrot cake was really fun too! The brigadeiros, Brazil's better answer to American fudge, are out of this world good. Parking is easy. If you're Brazilian, this is a great piece of home. If you're not, looking for an adventure, the place is super clean, people really nice, and, you don't have to be Brazilian to enjoy great food!

Beef Esfiha

Terrible food! Don't order from this place! O pastel não tem recheio, a esfiha estava velha a carne estava dura parecia um hambúrguer e a massa extremamente seca.

The parking in the little shopping plaza there can be a bit tight but it's probably one of the definitive salgado bakeries around. They got all the stuff you are looking for, coxinhas, pastels, pao, sfihas, kibe, all the cakes, and puddings. Huge variety of stuff to choose from. Service was quick, although if you get there towards the end of the day they tend to run out of stuff. They didn't have pão de queijo ready but they had it as frozen balls ready to bake, which was fine in my case because I plan to eat it piping hot for breakfast tomorrow anyway. But they had a bunch of other stuff ready to eat which I was more than happy to buy. Yay!

Authentic Brazilian bakery, the restaurant is counter service with several tables inside. The restaurant is super clean and the service is very friendly even for us non-Brazilians. Their specialties are Empanadas, they have every filling you can think of like beef with heart of palms, beef with sundried tomatoes, cheese and eggs and so many more. They even have sweet empanadas with fillings like dulce de leche and chocolate coconut and more, The empanadas are each made from scratch to ensure the freshest quality. The dough is perfect and the stuffing is just the right combination. Casa Do Pastel also has several varieties of fresh soups available, chicken pies, traditional cheese breads, salty pastries, acai bowls, fresh juices and a large array of homemade cakes, churros with dulce de leche, Brazilian pastries and tamales either sweet or salty, everything of course made fresh from scratch. Everything is very reasonably priced with Empanadas being under $3. There are several Brazilian bakeries in the area but I found that they only speak Portuguese and are not friendly if you don't speak the language, so I found Casa Do Pastel very refreshing in that their service was just as friendly and attentive. Some of the food does take a few minutes to come out due to it being made fresh, this is not a fast food restaurant, expect to wait a few minutes for quality fresh food. Also, this place is always busy but they have 2 cashiers at the counter and seem to take orders fairly quickly, the parking lot can also be tricky but there is more parking on the side.

I'm still angry at Brazilians for introducing me to Jabuticaba, but that's another story. Brazil is not just the land of beautiful women and exotic fruits, it's also a country possessing incredible culinary wealth. Casa Do Pastel is one of my favorite Brazilian bakeries in south Florida. They have all of my favorites like chicken balls, chicken cheese balls, fish balls, Cashew juice and cheese bread. They also have sandwiches, soups, natural juices and cakes. Personally I avoid the cakes except the carrot cake, reason being the carrot cake is the only cake that doesn't taste like a diabetes bomb. This place is consistent, no matter what I buy it's always fresh and delicious. ++ they have english food labels ++ everyone speaks english ++ they cater

The people that work there are always kind.. I gonna be honest in my opinion I love the pastel specially the palmito/ heart palm with cream cheese, is really good. I don't like the meat empanadas in any places so in this case my opinion doesn't count, but my boyfriend liked The empadão de frango is typical in Brazil, we have it all over at least in the south of Brazil is easier to find it and in my opinion it was a little dry... in Brazil I had some sand I could give 10! For that and like 3,5 for this one... The cakes are good. But happily my boyfriend can do better and he is not a professional in this area In resume I LOVE THE PASTÉIS, it's super worth for me in this case... By the way I don't know with the Brazilian artist made a patent, cuz there is an interesting picture frame there

Waiting for my pasteis!

After coming here for over eight years, this place continues to satisfy my Brazilian food cravings…read more The team at Pampa Gaúcho hasn't just maintained their standards; they've raised the bar in both service and variety. They have added grilled pineapple, which is perfect for cleansing the palate between meats, and a grilled white cheese with honey that is delicious. The polenta is no longer served at the table, but it isn't really missed. The salad bar is well-stocked with fresh greens and several savory sides that are always plentiful. The meats are served frequently and are always cooked to your preferred temperature upon request. For dessert, my favorites remain the passion fruit mousse and the brigadeiro cake--they even brought me the mousse with chocolate sauce when I asked! The atmosphere is private and cozy. It isn't ostentatious, yet it feels special enough for a celebration or a nice casual dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had a 7 pm reservation but upon arrival we were given a pager and we were not seated until 7:30 pm. 3. There is no ambiance. 4. The salad bar was less than small. 5. We asked for water so they brought us a bottle of water while we were at the salad bar and then charged us for the bottle. We would not have drank it had we known that there was a charge for it. 6. The restaurant was way overpriced. The price was comparable to restaurants on Las Olas and the quality of the food was not nearly the same.

This Brazilian restaurant is very popular among Brazilians. It is located in the mall of the Seabra…read moresupermarket and the Brazilian bakery. Small but the food there is delicious, buffet style, you get the food and pay by the weight of the dish, the price per pound is $13.99, which ends up being a little expensive if you like meat a lot as it is quite heavy. The buffet consists of several salad options and hot dishes (BLACK BEANS, RED BEANS, PLANTAINS, WHITE RICE, BROWN RICE, BRAZILIAN STYLE RICE, PUMPKIN, FRENCH FRIES, STEW CABBAGE, SAUSAGE, EGGS, PASTA, YUCCA) and each day has a special traditional Brazilian dish. Monday: BEEF WITH POTATOES, PORK RINDS WITH FRIED YUCCA, FISH STEW, Tuesday: TUTU (BRAZILIAN REFRIED BEANS), STEAK, FRIED EGGS, SAUSAGE, Wednesday: CHICKEN WITH OKRA, BACALHAU,TRIPE OUR LIVER, Thursday: BEEF WITH YUCCA, PORK RIBS BBQ OUR PORK RIBS WITH GRITS, TILAPIA, Friday: OX TAIL, CATTLEMAN'S BEAN, SALMON, Saturday: BEEF OR CHICKEN STROGANOFF, FEIJOADA (BRAZILIAN BEAN STEW WITH PORK CUTS), FISH STEW, Sunday: CATTLEMAN'S BEAN PORK RIBS OR CHICKEN WITH GRITS, COD. It's an everyday restaurant. The attendants are always kind. Normally on the weekend at lunchtime it is always super crowded and the queue to get food and a place to sit takes a long time as it is not a place where you can make a reservation. The sweet options also include famous Brazilian sweets such as: pudding, passion fruit mousse, rice pudding, etc. Unfortunately, as it is a small space, it only has 1 bathroom for both sexes, but I have never seen it dirty. They have another unit in Boca Raton which is much larger and also has a room to rent for parties. But I like this one in Pompano best because I always take the opportunity to go to the supermarket and buy Brazilian products!
