If I could give zero stars I would. The stuff are nice and attentive. The main doctor is not. She barely directs a conversation at the client. Never gives advice and seems like she feels too important to talk to you. Gets you out of her office asap. I disliked her dismissive attitude. They had everything ready, x-rays were fast, cleaning was fast, the doctor found a cavity and was able to fill it same day. Another thing I didn't know that made me anxious was being able to hear everything that goes on at the dentist (drills, suction, metal tools clanging on metal trays) but the music here was at the perfect volume to drown out some of the noise. I've been a patient at Casa Dental for several years now. The staff has historically been friendly, kind and welcoming. The office is bright and clean with cute touches. I recently noticed pictures of the staff near the entrance. This shows me how close knit they are. The general vibe I get is that the team are close and have respect for one another. I've experienced a handful of dental assistants. They've all been friendly but Serafin stands out to me the most. He seems really genuine and initiates conversations to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Tran is AMAZING. She is genuine, warm, and kind. Her approach is straightforward. My questions get answered and she remembers details about me that we have conversed about in the past (e.g my profession and interests). To have a dentist remember details about you is refreshing. I called on a Thursday in serious pain from an infected wisdom tooth, asking if I could get antibiotics before the extraction -- which is a common and reasonable medical step. I was told they couldn't prescribe anything unless the doctor who performs extractions saw me first -- but that doctor only comes in on Fridays. That meant I had to sit in pain for another 24 hours, which felt unnecessary and inconsiderate of what I was going through. When I came in for the appointment, things only got worse. The doctor didn't greet me, didn't explain anything -- just grabbed a needle and said, "I'm going to numb you up." No explanation about the infection, the risks, the procedure -- nothing. I was anxious, and that lack of communication made it even harder to feel comfortable or safe. When I asked questions about the infection and how it might affect the extraction (especially since a previous dentist told me to treat the infection first), the doctor brushed me off and said, "This is my job, I do this every day." He also told me that because I'm a healthy guy, I didn't need to worry about the infection. That honestly made no sense to me. Being healthy doesn't mean you ignore an active infection -- and it felt like a way to avoid addressing my concerns properly. And to top it all off, they charged me $110 for a panoramic X-ray I didn't need -- even though I already had recent X-rays of the exact area where the tooth needed to be removed. They showed me the X-rays difference and i can say you don't need that, especially when you had previous X-rays in the last couple months. This entire experience made me feel dismissed, rushed, and unheard. There was very little effort to explain what was happening, answer questions, or treat me like a person in pain. I won't be coming back, and I hope this office seriously reconsiders how they communicate with and care for their patients -- especially the ones coming in nervous and in pain. read more

After a horrific experience at Western Dental refusing to see me with an agonizing tooth ache, I found myself near Casa Dental at 4 O'clock on a Friday. A woman I know goes there for her dentist and she has always sung their praises so I decided to give them a try. The receptionists were kind and helpful. I said I understood it's late, last minute, and I'm a new patient, but I got a toothache that could kill Bruce Lee. They said yes, we can have you looked at and evaluated. They texted me a form on my phone that was very convenient and after a few minutes, I was getting xrayed. Dr. Tran was the best. She examined me, showed me my films, and determined a course of treatment that included some antibiotics. The staff, the doctors, the office were all top notch. However, when I arrived at Casa Dental Group, the staff was extremely welcoming and made the experience very pleasant. The appointment was quick - the hygienist was very informative of my teeth care, explaining to me about my fillings, and the dentist was on time and very professional. I had broken my front tooth and was quite distraught about it. Luckily I called in to Casa Dental and they were able to fit me in. They were really efficient in their intake by providing me a link to an online form. The location is slightly tucked away on Meadow Lane. I arrived at the dental office and immediately asked my name and my ID. I did not have to wait long for the xray technician to bring me back to take images of my teeth. I was then brought into an examination room where Dr. Tran reviewed the images and was able to see what work I needed to have done. At first they said they weren't able to work on my broken tooth but then they were able to after some pleading on my part. Dr. Tran is very kind and skilled. She was able to work on my tooth, get a temporary crown on in less than an hour and a half with the consultation by the dental office manager (I think she was the dental office manager). Her and the team did fantastic and I'm very grateful for their care. read more

They are really unprofessional. I made an appointment with them to get my root canal done. I showed up on time and they told me they did not make any appointments for me which they did. Later on the front desk lady said the doctor canceled on them because he/she has an emergency so I suggested to her that she should have give me a call. Then she told me that the doctor will not be available for another month and she requires me to put $100 deposit if I want to make an appointment which I have no problem giving them the deposit, but she should have explained to me all the details since the time I made my first appointment. She should have been honest with me and apologize, instead she was giving me excuses after I confronted her about the situation. Great dental practice! I have been coming to Casa Dental since November 2020 when I decided that I didn't want to drive to Newark even though I loved my previous dentist. Casa Dental was recommended on Nextdoor (where I often ask for and give recommendations) because I wanted a female dentist who was close to Walnut Creek. I also scheduled with them because they offer nitrous oxide and have an in house plan for those of us without dental insurance. I don't have dental insurance but my out of pocket expenses at this practice are in the low $100s, which is MUCH less than monthly premiums for dental insurance. Like many people, I have dental anxiety due to bad childhood dental experiences. Dr. Tran and her team are awesome! They are so friendly, gentle, efficient, and thorough. The front desk staff checked me in quickly upon arrival and I only waited a few more minutes before being called back. The dental assistant who took my x-rays and helped clean my teeth yesterday has an amazing touch. Having x-rays taken is not a pleasant experience with my bad gag reflex so I was amazed he could do it with little discomfort. I love that Dr. Tran personally does the cleanings. She is the second dentist I've seen who cleans patients' teeth, and I've found my teeth feel cleaner when the dentist cleans them. Most importantly, she is very empathetic of my dental anxiety and prior bad dental experiences. At our first appointment, I could tell she thoroughly reviewed that part of the new patient paperwork. No judgment from her of my dental anxiety or "nitrous shaming" (yes, i had a dentist/his staff I saw years ago do this in the past), just here to help and use the information I provide her of my dental history to provide the best care possible. The dentist that attended me were young female professionals and I felt that they really care about saving a tooth than looking to sell me more stuff that I do t really need. That's what I felt from the other dental office I went to so so glad I had a patience to drive here and wait for their schedule to open up cos they really get busy as they have a lot of clients and I know why cos they are the most cheapest dental office you can ever come accross in concord. I was a former patient here. Dr. Tran does an okay job but honestly, I could find the same kind of services anywhere else. My issue with Dr. Tran is her apathy towards patients who have anxiety at the dentist's office. Dr. Tran refused to provide any type of anxiolytic for my crown even though she had provided this type of medication to me on previous visits. I was extremely disappointed with her decision (and the fact that I had to wait several months before she was available to install the crown). I had been a long time patient and she knew that I had a history of anxiety only with dental visits. She knew that I am not the type of person who would abuse these meds. She also has the ability to check controlled substances records for any of her patients and she would have easily known that I never use these types of meds unless I go to the dentist. I never returned to her office after the cro wn was installed. I also took my kids out of her dental practice too after they cancelled many of our Saturday appointments and rebooked them during inconvenient school hours. (Perhaps Casa Dental thinks parents don't have to work or that they don't have other obligations during the weekdays.) Luckily, I found a more empathetic and accessible dentist who is understanding of my needs and who is also available more often. If you want a dentist who is uncaring and inaccessible, then Casa Dental is the place for you. Dr. Tran claims that she cannot find me in her records but that is because I refuse to share my real identity online. The long and short of it is, I really like this place so far and I hope to continue to like it. My dentist retired so I needed to find a new dentist. From scheduling my appointment online to the end of my appointment, everything was a breeze. Upon entry to the building, you can smell the cleanliness of the office. It was neat and cute. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Deisy assisted with xrays, cleaning, and fixing my chipped tooth. Deisy has a great personality and is friendly. Dr. Tran was super friendly ad professional. I felt very comfortable there. They provide you with a treatment plan that also includes prices, what your insurance covers, and what you would pay out of pocket. This way you can see exactly what needs to be done and the cost. This is especially nice because there is no guessing. You can choose what you want to proceed with and know exactly what the cost and exactly what you are getting. I have a cleaning and they fixed a chipped tooth I had. My teeth are so nice a shiny and my tooth is no longer chipped. So, yes, overall I like this place and have already recommended it to my brother and sister. I was told by a former employee who just so happen to be a long time friend of mine (Flor) that THIS is the place to go. I told her that my wisdom tooth was bothering me and she recommended Casa dental. I was seen a day after I made the appointment and it was like god came from the heavens and blessed me in the nick of time. I was given a free X-ray, the doc came and looked inside my mouth and referred me to a dental extraction office right up the street in downtown concord. The doctor was soooo nice and so were the front desk people, including the person the gave me the X-ray. I felt truly blessed to be seen by them. One reason the place is clean and WELL maintained. Two, well her expertise was very apparent I was only in the chair for less than 5 min. So I had an appt for 10am at Casa and by 11 my tooth was extracted and I was back in the car headed home. Thankfully the universe had me aligned and in mind because the front desk person at the second dentist office said had I not called at the exact moment I did I probably wouldn't have been able to been seen until a day or two later. Everything went smooth the tooth was removed after I'd been given some numbing medicine, it was so fast and painless I couldn't believe when he was done. I left feeling so thankful, thank you Casa dental oh, I almost forgot to mention they have house plans for people without insurance.
