Awesome house Margarita with salt. Nice little kick. Worth getting.
    Frank A.

Unfortunately, service was not so good. Food portions were a little smaller, although understandable. Margarita was perfect. Food was extremely tasty. Server Cortes never refilled water or ask if I wanted another margarita. Salsa was respectfully and kindly refilled by hostess. Ambiance was peaceful and relaxed, not too busy at all. Hope they do better next time.

Great quality Mexican food in Rockledge! Staff was attentive and would check on us often. The Alambre was full of flavor and I loved the incorporation of pineapple in the Pollo Sureno. I would definitely come back again.

Portions were more than generous! I had delicious steak Fajitas. The flavor was wonderfull. My companions had the Taquitos and the Super Burrito!! Great portions and flavor!! We'll be back soon!

I've been her several times in the last few weeks! It's my go to Mexican Restaurant in Central Brevard. The food is authentic and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is spot on and the cleanliness is too. A picture is worth a thousand words!

We tried this for the first time and it was amazing !! Their menu is abundant with options and the flavors were so good! I had the chicken tortilla soup that and shrimp cocktail . So much flavor or and generous portions ! Lorena our waitress was amazing and made me feel like I was at my tita's house getting home made cooking. We finished with the fried cheesecake but it didn't last for a picture !Found my new go to!

We knew it was going to be good as soon as we walked in--the smell of the food instantly took us back home to New Mexico! Everything from the chips and salsa (with a little kick) to the drinks, and especially the Enchiladas Mexicanas and Birria Tacos, was phenomenal and perfectly seasoned. We can't wait to come back and try more dishes! And definitely ask for Lorena--she was the absolute sweetest and so helpful!

However, some may not know Pub Americana has an "extension of nightlife" located upstairs. If you are amongst the population who come out for after dark entertainment and so happen to love Pub Americana, you might want to check out The Blind Lion. Described as a jazz, blues, and comedy club, The Blind Lion is located directly upstairs of Pub Americana. The entrance for it is a staircase just west of the actual restaurant which leads to a medium-sized loft of an area, There is a spackle of seating options ranging from booths along the walls and tables and chairs in front of the stage. A small-ish bar is located on the west side. Of course, the ambiance is often set for the type of entertainment provided. I went during a jazz event, so there were some moody hues of blues and reds throughout the club. Pertaining to food and drinks, The Blind Lion advertises a "full menu," but technically, it is a limited menu from Pub Americana. My friend Chops and I ordered apps for everyone to share, which included their gator bites and the Pub Bang-Bang, the name given to their app of eight tempura-battered and fried jumbo shrip with sweet chili aioli. The food was good, but overall, it was a little below average compared to what is good in other restaurants. They were also on the pricey side at almost $20 for each app. As for their alcoholic drinks, I enjoyed what I got, but for the life of me, I could not remember what it was I got. For our entertainment, we listened to Tony Wynn and Cameron Brown, a jazz duo that my friends Chops and Ufredo know. I loved their music and especially enjoyed their jazz covers of classic 90s and 2000s songs. I especially liked their jazz cover of "Ride Like the Wind" by Christopher Cross, in which they gave me props for actually knowing the song they were covering! Ultimately, The Blind Lion is a decent spot to go to, and I see why it is #3 in the top three nightlife locations in the area. Are there other venues that are equally as good and possibly handicap friendly? Yes. But if there happens to be a show I want to go to and it happens to be here in The Blind Lion, I wouldn't refuse. Maybe just budget a bit because the prices can be a bit on the high side overall. Also, show love to the performers and bring some cash to tip too.

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.

From the jump, it became one of my "if we dont know where we want to eat, go here" kind of places. Easy, consistent and delicious every single time. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer. I was apprehensive, a tuna app at a pub? Fresh fruit, ginger, tuna was seasoned well, I couldnt be happier. It was trying a well balanced poke bowl right from the start. The wings. Award winning. I am so picky about wings, so to have a place make them properly brings me to my happy place. The wings cooked well, and the buffalo sauce has a kick like its supposed to. Its been a MUST every visit. I dont even know if they have other flavors. We tried the SPECIALE PIZZETTA, and that now gets ordered every time. This place could legit be a pizza place. In an area where good pizza is hard to find, this is a perfect solution. Now Ive tried a few burgers, every burger has been seasoned perfectly and still juicy despite asking for medium well, its only a matter of what you'd like for a topping. The Village Blues burger may be my favorite so far, its the only one ive had twice. The staff is great with us, they always have new beers to try, and its a why not situation! My only ask at all would be steak frites on the menu, I think that would be made so fire in a spot like this. That said, I came to write this review thinking about them because I might just get dinner there today!

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.
