Red and green burrito. I'm not sure where the green is.
    Scott P.

The wait staff was great. The food however, was very bland. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. I had the red and green burrito. Half is chicken, half ground beef. Little seasoning with either protein. This also seems to be where senior citizens go for Mexican food, which may explain the blandness.

We came here on Sunday for the brunch buffet on Fathers Day. We had made reservations so got right in. We come here every year on Fathers Day and as always it was great. Food is amazing. The omelette and quesadillas bar is the best! Honestly best quesadillas I have ever had. Service is wonderful. Place was packed but the waitress hustled and took great care of us. The atmosphere is very colorful and gives an authentic southwestern feel. This place is great.

Chips are paper thin, Salsa is so bad could not get the taste out of my mouth. Restaurant has a cheesy decor. We waited for 40 minutes for a quesadilla and a enchilada. Tables around us were getting their food quickly after arriving after us. We ended walking out before getting our meal. The waitress comes running out stating the meal is almost ready. What a joke this place is. On the up side the employees are friendly just slow and the restroom was clean.

The first sign of trouble came upon calling the restaurant and inquiring about directions from our hotel, we were told "We're right behind the arena. We have a business next to us. Mad Dogs or something?" Least. Helpful. Directions. Ever. The chips were fine but the salsa was straight off a grocery store shelf. Might have been watered down Pace or something equivalent. Not great. I got a combination plate, which included a hardshell taco, a burrito, an enchilada and the refried beans and rice. The taco shell was stale, and although the rest of the food was not bad, it was oddly flavored and a bit liqudy and loose. The beef was nicely flavored and the rice was fine. The beans tasted canned. The service was nice, but a dining companion ordered extra avocado and they put the dish right on the lettuce on the main dish plate. Ugh. All in all, it's pretty safe Mexican food but... eh, it wasn't for me or my companions. I don't think a return is in the cards for me.

Chicken Torte. There must be better items on the menu.

One look at the menu was an epiphany... a rare, if not the only, time I could not find a single item I didn't want to order. The ambience is rustic central plains frontier. The food is expertly prepared and the wood-fired and house-smoked menu items were the highlight. HIGHLY recommend! (BTW, I had the smoked biscuit with a side of bourbon glazed Brussel Sprouts..Mmmm)

Straight ahead by a large open bar, you can see the meat on the rotisserie. Restaurant is large and cozy. Dark woods, modern lighting, many booths with ample seating. Floors are concrete and many nature pictures line the walls. This place has everything from handheld sandwiches to salmon and rotisserie chicken, a broad selection of appetizers and soups and salad salads. I ordered a Guinness draft and it came in a very large glass. Many tap beers to choose from. We ordered the woodfired chicken wings, a rotisserie chicken, which is accompanied with mashed potatoes and cornbread, and my husband also ordered a cup of corn chowder. The chicken wings I thought were delicious. The flavor is smoky and pepper. Not your traditional wing, but it includes the drumstick and the wing. You get six in total. It comes with blue cheese and ranch. My husband did not care for the wings. He thought they had too much of a pepper taste. My only concern was they were not served hot. They were barely warm when they got to my table. The blue cheese dressing was basically ranch dressing with a few dry blue cheese crumbles mixed in. Not a good flavor. The corn chowder was very mushy. It had the texture of baby food. He did not enjoy it. It also was served warm and not hot. Rotisserie chicken comes out with a thigh and drumstick of dark meat and white meat. However, the chicken is very dry. Taste like rotisserie chicken should taste But nothing special. The mashed potatoes are not creamy. But clumpy. They are red skin and I love when the skin is left on the potatoes. However, they taste like a baked Redskin potato with no salt, pepper, or butter. Flavorless. The cornbread has good flavor. But again, try. There is no butter to accompany it. Might taste good with some honey or butter on the side. I love the look and coziness of the restaurant. I wanted it to be fantastic. I was extremely disappointed in the food. I tried to make it work, but with the cold food and the lack of flavor, it was a big miss. When you take a bite of rotisserie chicken, and then you need to take a drink before taking your next bite of food, you know it is dry. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Sioux Falls Falls do not ROAM to this restaurant. I would not come back to this restaurant. I would give it 2 stars for the food. However, Darla was our waitress and she was very kind and attentive. She gets a five star rating. But the good service does not balance out the awful food.

When we added our name to the waitlist at 9:00 AM on a Saturday for a party of four, our wait time was around 75 minutes. When we got there, we were seated promptly. However, our waitstaff didn't come to take our order promptly. We waited around 10+ minutes to put our order in. While they have the Toast app and devices, we weren't able to pay using Toast (with the QR code from the table). Ambiance: This place is huge. The seating is comfortable and the decor isn't tacky or kitschy. Food: My friend ordered the Swedish pancakes and thick-sliced bacon and had enough leftover to take home for the next day. My husband had the corned beef hash and was happy with his order. I had the Irish benedict which was a nice change from your typical benedict. While they advertise that the corned beef hash is homemade, it's not what I had expected. It seemed similar to others I've had that was served out of a can. Usually when it's homemade the corned beef and potato pieces are larger, but this seemed like canned hash you could buy at the store. Nonetheless, it was still really good. The coffee wasn't super strong, but wasn't "church coffee" either. Noise Level: For as busy as it was, I didn't find the restaurant to be so noisy that we couldn't hear each other talk. Service: As I mentioned, getting our orders taken took longer than we expected, but the waitstaff was very nice and attentive throughout the rest of our dining experience.
