They also let me pick a handful of dresses off the racks as backups. I tried on the one they shipped for me, and I loved it. I must be blessed or this boutique must really be the best because I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on! My mom actually saw the dress in the window before I did and it just happened to be the first in the pile of 10+ mermaid dresses I was to try on. I forgot the sales associates name, but she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable immediately. My appointment was 45 minutes total. At my first alteration appointment, I met Leah, the seamstress, and was re-introduced to Dawn, one of the owners. They helped me through the appointment and I felt good leaving, but then got home and didn't feel so good. I kept looking back on pictures from the first appointment and liked how the sample dress fit me more than my actual dress but I couldn't figure out why. I called Dawn and she got me right back in a few days later and we worked through it all and I found out the sample dresses are usually smaller and stretched out so the fit is inevitably different. But Leah worked her magic and was able to alter the dress to make it fit me just like the sample dress did (and better!). After the second alterations appointment, the dress fit me like a glove. Overall, I'm so happy I trusted my gut and chose Couture Bride. Their pricing is fair, it's probably not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. In this case, you get highly experienced and knowledgeable owners and seamstress, quality time so you don't feel rushed or competing with anyone else for attention in the boutique, and amazing quality dresses and timely, professional services. I purchased my dress and veil in August 2024 (for a November 2025 wedding) and received word well ahead of schedule in December 2024/ January 2025 that everything had arrived. The team had no problem with me visiting the shop in February to try everything on and ensure everything we ordered arrived as expected. The team was accommodating throughout the entire process. In late September 2025 we began the fitting process. I purchased a size 18 dress and then ended up losing weight resulting in needing my dress to be more in the size 10/12 realm. From the jump, the alterations team was remarkably kind and helpful. They answered all our questions. They reassured us anything we desired could be done and that they had recently altered the same dress, so they were seasoned veterans. We came back for a couple follow up appointments, each time the dress getting closer to the final perfect fit. Despite needing to make some major alterations due to the weight loss, all the alterations cost us under $400 for a dress we originally spent $1600+ on, which felt so reasonable to me, especially for their exceptional quality of work. The display is so BEAUTIFUL and since it's in the Forum our first reaction was that it was ridiculously expensive. No one wanted to venture in and I said LET'S SEE. SO happy we walked in here. The dresses are stunning, they look like they cost $1000's but were all under $400 AND they have a 50% off clearance area. Of course we went shopping. The staff is super nice and if you have your husband along there is a beautiful sitting area near the dressing rooms for their comfort. This is a MUST stop shop if you are in the Forum. It's upstairs near the Planet Hollywood restaurant. From now on when I have a formal or cocktail event to go to, this WILL be my first stop.
