The Most Magical Bridal Experience!…read more I had my VIP bridal appointment at Something Blue Bridal in April, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience! Going into my appointment, I was incredibly overwhelmed by the thought of finding the dress. I had an idea of what I thought I wanted, but I was nervous about making such a big decision. We actually arrived about 45 minutes early, and the doors were locked because another bride was enjoying her VIP appointment. My one piece of advice for future brides is to arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment, as you won't be able to come inside and browse beforehand. I completely understood and actually appreciated that they were giving another bride the privacy and attention she deserved during her special moment! I brought a fairly large group with me, which made the experience so much fun, although admittedly a little chaotic! Amaya and Alyssa were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They were so kind, professional, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. Not only did they cater to me throughout the entire appointment, but they also made sure every single person in my party felt welcomed and taken care of. I truly felt so spoiled! I tried on a total of six dresses, but there was something about dress number four that kept calling me back. Sure enough, I SAID YES TO THE DRESS! What I loved most was that I never once felt rushed. I was able to truly soak in the moment and appreciate one of the biggest and most exciting decisions of my wedding planning journey. We took SO many pictures in my dress, and Amaya and Alyssa gave me all the time I needed to enjoy every second. When I was finally ready to change, we went back into the fitting room for measurements before I changed into my regular clothes. Afterward, we took even more photos in front of their gorgeous sign and flower wall while the ladies handled the invoicing and tidied up. Once everything settled down, they brought me to the front of the boutique to privately discuss payment while my guests continued enjoying the snacks and drinks. The entire process was seamless, organized, and incredibly easy. I walked into Something Blue Bridal with a general idea of what I wanted, but I quickly became so comfortable with Amaya and Alyssa that I was able to put my complete trust in them. They made what initially felt like an overwhelming experience into one of my favorite wedding memories. Another detail I absolutely loved was receiving progress pictures while my dress was being made! It was so exciting to see little updates along the way and made the anticipation of finally bringing my dress home even more special. Communication with the boutique owners is primarily through email, but they have always been incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I've had questions. Fast forward to this weekend, and I FINALLY GOT TO BRING MY DREAM DRESS HOME! Lisette helped me during my pickup appointment, and she was just as wonderful! She patiently answered all of my questions, made sure I felt comfortable, and gave me the opportunity to enjoy being in my dress all over again. It was such a special full-circle moment! Something Blue Bridal is truly a luxurious, upscale boutique, but what makes it so exceptional is the genuine care and attention they give their brides. From the initial appointment to the final pickup, I felt celebrated, supported, and completely taken care of. Lisa stated their Colorado location had it, but she could have it shipped to their store in Vegas so I could come try it on. The moment I walked in, I was greeted and felt so welcomed by Lisa and Aleice. I drove from LA to LV to try on that specific dress. They also let me pick a handful of dresses off the racks as backups. I tried on the one they shipped for me, and I loved it. I was a little hesitant because it was a blush color, but while they were waiting to find out if it came in white, we tried on the rest of the dresses. I was emotional when I tried on THE dress because it was beautiful, I was alone, and I was missing my mom. Lisa had a motherly, warm energy that made me feel special. After going to 10 boutiques and trying on 50 dresses, I said yes to the dress! Some were exactly what I had envisioned, while others were completely different from anything I would have thought to try on. And as it turns out, sometimes you don't know what you want until you put it on! We had issues with the torso, and the altered bride team endlessly worked on it to make it perfect. My dress was not easy to work with because of the layering and appliqués. The trim of the dress is even harder because of the appliqués. Nonetheless, they did it! Besides the beautiful alterations, every appointment I had was beyond my expectations. They were always kind, welcoming, supportive, and truly attentive to the entire process. They are incredible people inside and out and it exudes in the ways that they interacted with me as a bride AND their business as a whole. Another engaged friend and I had been checking out the Maggie Sottero dresses and the sales clerk eagerly offered to order any dress from the stack of vendor catalogs she had piled on the cash wrap. She also seemed willing to work with pricing, so at least for any "Maggie Brides" out there, if you see a Maggie Sottero gown somewhere else (and Adeline doesn't carry a sample of the one you fell in love with) it might be worth checking with them on pricing and order/ delivery time frames. Prices - Most of the dresses fell between the $800 - $1800 price point.
