I found Couture Bride on Yelp and read great reviews so booked my first appointment online. It was the only boutique I booked. I must be blessed or this boutique must really be the best because I fell in love with the very first dress I tried on! My mom actually saw the dress in the window before I did and it just happened to be the first in the pile of 10+ mermaid dresses I was to try on. I forgot the sales associates name, but she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable immediately. My appointment was 45 minutes total. At my first alteration appointment, I met Leah, the seamstress, and was re-introduced to Dawn, one of the owners. They helped me through the appointment and I felt good leaving, but then got home and didn't feel so good. I kept looking back on pictures from the first appointment and liked how the sample dress fit me more than my actual dress but I couldn't figure out why. I called Dawn and she got me right back in a few days later and we worked through it all and I found out the sample dresses are usually smaller and stretched out so the fit is inevitably different. But Leah worked her magic and was able to alter the dress to make it fit me just like the sample dress did (and better!). After the second alterations appointment, the dress fit me like a glove. Overall, I'm so happy I trusted my gut and chose Couture Bride. Their pricing is fair, it's probably not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. In this case, you get highly experienced and knowledgeable owners and seamstress, quality time so you don't feel rushed or competing with anyone else for attention in the boutique, and amazing quality dresses and timely, professional services. When I started my wedding dress shopping experience, I had a list of three places I wanted to visit in Las Vegas. That was only because I'm super picky, and I just knew I'd probably need to go to a few places before making a decision. Well, to my surprise, I only needed to make one stop and that was Couture Bride. Couture Bride was first on my list because I went in planning to try on a specific dress I had in mind from a well-known designer. When my bridal party and I arrived for our appointment, I asked our sales associate if they had that dress in stock. Unfortunately, they didn't, but she was more than happy to help me find similar dresses she thought I would love, as well as styles I hadn't even considered. I think I tried on about 10 dresses that day, and shockingly, I fell in love with a dress I never would have picked for myself, a Lilian West gown. It was perfect, so perfect that I couldn't leave the store without it! Our sales associate was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She was patient, kind, and truly made the whole experience so special and memorable. I was even able to customize the sleeves, turning them into off-the-shoulder sleeves for the reception. Our tailor was amazing, so helpful and so sweet! Since my wedding was in San Diego, our tailor taught my MOH and myself how to care for the gown and patiently taught us how to pin up the bustle. She also helped me customize my veil, which I loved so much I didn't want to take it off. The entire staff is really wonderful and they helped answer all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. Everyone was so kind and they had a stunning selection of dresses to choose from. I was not limited on the amount of dresses I could try and I never felt overwhelmed here. I would drive by and even popped by the front door to see the beautiful dresses on display and a sign that said "by appointment only" which fed my idea of how exclusive this place was. Different that David's bridal. When it came time to buy my dress, it was love at first call. I made my appointment with Dawn and dealt with Dawn the entire process. She was absolutely kind and little did I know, the friend I needed by my side as I was trying everything on. She helped me find the perfect dress and helped me to ignore the negative reactions that she saw was bothering me and hindering my ability to decide on my dress. I was the blushing bride at my wedding and my husband was completely taken away by how I looked on our day. I couldn't recommend this place enough. My dress, veil and alterations totaled to be about $5,000. I paid half up front, half at pick up and alterations at the first alteration appointment. The alterations lady was also amazing. She was able to take the extra material from my dress and create my own should straps. She made them two different ways for me as I wanted to see what both looked like. I had a such a wonderful experience at Couture!! After scheduling my appointment, I messaged them on instagram asking if they had a particular dress I wanted to try on. They're very responsive on instagram or through the phone. Unfortunately, they said they didn't have the dress I was looking for, but I still decided to keep my appointment to try on the dresses they have in stock. Then, the day before my appointment, they messaged me again on instagram saying the dress I was looking for came in! It was a great touch that they thought of me when they received the dress and made me feel special and prioritized as a customer. The dress (Lillian West #66212) was everything I wanted!! It was the perfect amount of beaded lace that wasn't totally covered in lace but still very sparkly! The only addition I made was a white beaded/sparkly belt I bought off etsy. Their alterations lady was so nice and was willing to show me different options for my bustle. After my dress was finished with alterations, they offered to store the dress for me so I can pick it up a few days before my wedding nice and steamed (they also did this for my veil, which I got from a different store by the way, so it was nice of them to offer to steam it for me)!
