TERRIBLE BILLING PRACTICES!!!!…read more One of the first bills I received was shockingly high (It was the first bill we received after 7-8 months of services). I went through the line items and found that they billed me for a service that my son was not receiving. I reached out to the billing department and they acknowledged that there was a billing error and corrected the bill. We switched providers because they were unable to provide services at my son's school. Several months after discontinuing services we received a bill from them for several random dates of service from the past. We expressed our frustration with the delayed bill in September and thought that our account was settled then. To our astonishment, we just received another bill for services rendered 11 MONTHS AGO! My household receives bills from dozens of different providers. These bills arrive within ~30 days of services rendered with the only exception being Raleigh Therapy Services. When billing is delayed by so long it makes it difficult for personal accounting and creates stress and anxiety because amongst several recent medical bills, it is an unexpected expense. I had to spend the entire day yesterday combing through records from RTS and my insurance company to try to understand why I was receiving a claim 11 months after services were rendered and to try to understand if I would be receiving any future bills (which there are still 2 more claims that haven't been processed). I have worked as a health care provider billing insurance for medical services as well as my current position at a medical software billing company. I understand that insurance issues can be very frustrating and sometimes take several phone calls to resolve. The provider we switched to, K&M Therapeutics, billed for the same service (plus a new one) and we received bills monthly starting 30 days from service and they were billing the same insurance companies. It seems like they need to hire an adjudication claims specialist to have someone dedicated to trouble shooting these issues so that they can be resolved in a timely manner. My son really liked the therapists at RTS..... this is just a billing inefficiency issue leading to a poor customer experience. I believe it can be fixed if they want to put the effort into trying to.

A good friend of mine is a Chiropractor whom I was seeing prior to arriving here & honestly Dr. Rocco's is better hands down which hurts me in a way to say, but it is true. Leave me no time to find another chiropractor before delivering this baby. They can say all they want their cell phone policies outline, but here's the thing they don't enforce it with anybody else and everybody else is having conversations. What's the difference between me talking to the person in the chair beside me and the person on the phone that's having an emotional breakdown that I just said I'll call you back. Also they are now hiding reviews an adding 5 star reviews to make their numbers stay high. Honestly, I guess there's not much I can do about this, but this practice is sleazy, but want to present themselves as they are so much better than everyone else when in all reality, they are just a bunch of scammers.

I had 4 procedures done simultaneously by Dr. Viraj Patel which left me without any ability to breathe at all through my left nostril. That corrective surgery lasted 5.5 hours, required multiple grafts to be placed in my nose, worsened my appearance, and to date has improved my breathing about 10 percent (when using steroids). Don't even think about going here if you have a perforated septum. You might be so unfortuante to end up like me. Bottom line: This doctor has neither the skills nor the scruples to do complicated sinus surgery. The only patient he should ever have is the one he sees in the mirror. Looks like 2 pellets were placed just below the skin. One broke almost immediately and was partly removed by staff. However an open wound persisted and another pellet popped out. The wound tract has not closed and has been open and discharging on my glute for over 5 weeks. I have not been able to exercise and have lost muscle and endurance due to the inactivity. Optimal Bio has done little to rectify the situation. I am still wearing gauze on the wound to catch discharge and hopefully keep it from getting infected. I am quite dissatisfied with the level of care and may just go to my primary care to address before it gets infected . When Dr Brannon was alive I don't think this would have happened but since he passed I feel like this complication due to a botched placement is just kind of ignored. It really makes me question whether the pellets are still the way to go
