I typically don't give anybody five stars, BUT, I was pleasantly surprised with this cleaning service. My husband and I were moving out of our apartment on May 31st and needed a deep clean to ensure that we did not accrue any extra charges from our complex. I left my key outside of the door, and the great part about it, they only had to update me on their arrival window. They were not bothersome whatsoever (didn't send me a bunch of text updates), and when we went to go look at the apartment, it was IMMACULATE!! We attempted to call to set up monthly cleanings for our new home, but unfortunately we are too far away :( The price is surely reasonable and service impeccable. Highly recommended! read more

I wrote a review for Cary Clean Team 8 years ago and I am still pleased with their service overall. Every 4 week, the team has a routine that makes each cleaning the same regardless of the crew that is sent. Each team member takes an area - bathroom, kitchen, etc and works efficiently. It doesn't take them long to dust knick-knacks, clean washable surfaces, vacuum carpets, and treat hardwood floors. The result is a clean disinfected house. read more

Would not recommend. Charging by the hour, overpriced and unprofessional. I initially got a quote for cleaning a vacant house (roughly 3300 sqft) that includes cleaning of the walls with "magic eraser" for about 4.5 hours of work. I was very clear on the phone about the walls, that if it cannot be cleaned to an acceptable level, then the walls should be left alone. Well, on the day of the cleaning, I tried to call/text several times to get an idea of whether the walls can and will be cleaned, or have to be repainted. Each time I didn't get a clear answer. I arrived at the house about 30 minutes prior to finish, and saw one of the cleaning crew was still working on some walls on the first floor. I looked around the 2nd floor, the walls where there were obvious marks were basically untouched. So they were clearly working on the walls, but seemed to have just started. Meanwhile the other person was packing things up and ready to go. I didn't have too much time to carefully look over the house (lesson learned). Next day I contacted the company asking about the walls and the fact that even though they didn't seem to spend too much time cleaning the walls, how did it end up costing 4.5 hours to clean a vacant house in decent condition (no furnitures to clean or move around, no things to reorganize, etc). The response I got was basically that it was a big house and that it takes time to thoroughly clean, also the crew was instructed to NOT clean the walls because they can't be cleaned to an acceptable condition. Huh? What??? I went back and was able to easily clean some of the walls with the magic eraser. A few days later, when a perspective tenant was looking over the house, we noticed there were several kitchen cabinets that still had stuff/trash in them (I guess they were not cleaned nor wiped down), the kitchen cabinet under the sink was left uncleaned. The inside of the oven was not cleaned. So... I'm not going to speculate about what's going on but I will not recommend the cleaning service from this company at all. In retrospect, I would suggest a company that quotes by the job, rather than the hours spent, especially if you will not be at the property during the time of cleaning. 1. Did not came with masks when we specifically asked while booking. When provided masks, they were not wearing it properly. Half the time off their face. 2. Came late, left early (that too without letting us know). Charged us estimating 3 hrs for 3 person crew, but took less than 2 hrs. 3. Cleaning is also not great, blinds have dust, bathrooms were not cleaned etc. When called to complain they suggested that the crew can come back, but we did not have time for that. If they could have let us know before leaving, we could have checked and let them know the things they missed. Basically wasted money, time for very low quality work. read more

We've been using Cary Clean team for almost two years now and have been happy with the service. I really like that their pricing is by the hour. We are fairly clean people, so it seemed unfair that our last cleaning company charged us a flat fee regardless of how messy our house was. The quality of service and the crew's arrival time is fairly consistent. We especially love the little touches they provide, such as folding the hand towels in the bathroom. There have only been a handful of times where the cleaning wasn't as up to par or that the crew arrived earlier than expected (tough when you have to corral a newborn and dogs). The office staff is fantastic too. They send email reminders for our upcoming cleanings and they try to be accommodating when we have to reschedule our cleaning due to a holiday. read more

I had Cary Cleaning crew in to do a thorough clean upon moving out of my townhome and I was disappointed in their performance as well as the company's scheduling abilities. Let me start with that. First, I made the appointment for cleaning over 10 days in advance, on the 4th of August to be specific. I scheduled it for 1pm. On the 14th, the Friday prior to, I was sent a text message confirming and reminding me of the 1pm August 18th cleaning appointment. Then on Monday, August 17th I was sent another text message reconfirming the appointment, only now they had changed the appointment time to 10am without ever asking or verifying that a time change would be acceptable. I called into the office that same day to question what was happening and why and was told by the man who answered that he had no idea why the change was made. There was no note explaining the change in appointment time. I had scheduled something else for the morning on Tuesday and had to re-arrange my plans to be able to accommodate this change at the last minute. This was irresponsible and unprofessional. Second, on Tuesday after having rearranged my schedule for this cleaning at 10 am the cleaning crew did not arrive until almost 11 am. An hour late. Again, absolutely no notice from Cary Cleaning. Third, their deep clean was very superficial. In the bedroom upstairs they did not vacuum under the bed edging. Leaving me to have to redo the vacuuming in the master bedroom. In the kitchen there was a small pantry, less than 3ft x 3ft. They were to mop the floor in the kitchen and I left the pantry door open so they could mop into the pantry floor as there was some sugar that had spilled when we cleaned out the pantry. After they left the panty door was closed and the sugar was still on the pantry floor. This house was almost emptied out. There was very little furniture that that they had to maneuver around. What they called a deep clean was not what was performed at my house, yet they billed me for what I did not receive. I am disappointed in the job that was done, as well as the managerial service in getting this cleaning scheduled on my time and then being changed without notice to their schedule. And then their crew could not even arrive at that appointed time. I called the office and learned that they had been locked out of their building this morning and got a late start. If they had given me a courtesy call, I wouldn't have an issue. Seriously outstanding. They are so well organized and reliable. I also love that they are so trustworthy. Once someone bumped into a piece of furniture, and a piece of trim fell out (that I'm certain was loose before). They repaired it, left us a note explaining exactly what happened, and offered to pay for a furniture pro to fix it. There was no need since they'd already fixed it perfectly. Another time they accidentally broke a bottle of wine and they replaced it. They're seriously SO careful that I felt bad for having them take care of those things because goodness knows I would have broken at least twice as much if I were cleaning our house. Ha! I also appreciated that they were so conscientious about pricing. Whenever they'd raise rates (infrequently and very minimally), they would check in with us to see if we wanted to modify what they were doing for us so they wouldn't spend as long at our house. They also did SUCH a good job. As long as we were having them regularly visit, our friends with cat allergies had significantly less trouble at our home. And they were always careful not to let our crazy cats out too. I just can't say enough good things about them. I'm just sorry they don't have a branch where we've moved! read more
