Be aware that the interior cleaning option does NOT include everything on the sign - like the other options. After my elderly mother in law visited, and paid for the "interior clean" they told her it was $29.99 for either 1) A dashboard and console wipe down, 2) A seat shampoo, or 3) a vacuum NOT all three like the sign suggests. Had to drive 20-min back and argue with manager who said, "yea that sign is confusing, but I explained it to her". They agreed to do a further vacuum, but only after I drove back and discussed it with them. My favorite full service local car wash! We've been coming here since they opened. We've had everything done from quickies (exterior only) to detailing. That statement is important because I did not want to give this place a one visit review. I can confidently say that they are both reasonable and attentive. I'd give them a little time to clean your car because, although it is a machined car wash, there are many employees who pre-soak, vacuum, and then hand dry. Not to worry, they have a decent waiting area. The staff from beginning to end is also nice. Be mindful as they have peak and off peak times which impact the longevity of your visit. I think these guys do a very nice job washing and drying the car, but they can paY more attention to cleaning the wheels better. After all they charge extra for that. So last week I had the SUV vacuumed and the exterior washed. A teen/early 20-something worker explained that he could only get so much of the dog fur in the ceiling/roof carpet vacuumed out and said I'd need it shampooed out. I was quoted $55 for an interior shampoo by the lady (? manager) behind the desk, made the required appointment and came back today. NOTHING was shampooed except the floor carpet: the upholstery wasn't touched. I asked the lady (manager?) behind the desk about it. She said shampooing the roof carpet or upholstery was not included in the $55. Huh?? She busted out a brochure to start talking about all the prices and services. I explained to her that she was present last week when the other employee informed me the roof would need to be shampooed in order to remove the dog fur. She stated she's not sure why he told me that. I also didn't love that, while standing at the counter/register asking her about this (the first time) and recounting the conversations and quote the previous week, she stayed IN her office and behind her desk. Awkward way of trying to have a conversation with 30' and a room between you! It just seemed like she couldn't be bothered to get up and talk with me. On top of this run-around/flippant customer service, I was told it's another $15 and 25 minutes to re-vacuum the roof carpet. Ridiculous since I paid (and tipped) to have it vacuumed and washed LAST WEEK. When I asked the lady about why I now have to pay 15 more dollars to have the roof re vacuumed when it should have been done last week, she stated that dog hair is more laborious to remove. IMO it still should have been removed last week, at the price that I paid, and should not have required a return trip nor an extra charge. Do it right and do it the first time. If you choose to use WashWerks, (1) be sure you get ALL services + details IN WRITING - not verbal, (2) make sure you get names of who you talk to if you visit between services, and (3) inspect EVERYTHING before you leave. read more

I recently tried, Wash Werks, for the first time. I chose Wash 2, which includes a car wash, special wash for rims, and vacuuming/cleaning the interior. The car was detailed when I purchased it about two weeks prior and it was relatively clean. I was pleased with the price of the service ($17 if I remember correctly), the speed, and friendliness of the employees. When they waved me over indicating my car was ready, I tipped the gentleman and we were on our way. As we pulled out of the parking lot I glanced down at the passenger side floor mat and saw something stuck on it. After investigation, I realized it was chewing gum and spent about 10 min pulling it out of the carpet and getting it all over my fingers. Gross. I assume it was stuck to one of their shoes. When we got home, my displeasure only intensified when I noticed dried bugs still on the hood and side mirrors and dirt on the bottom side of each spoke of the rim. Like they only cleaned the top side that had been visible at the time. Needless to say, I will be finding a new place to get my car washed. read more

Take all the crap out of your car including those CD's you aren't listening to, car seats, food wrappers, gym bag, etc. etc. Get in your car and take it to the "Car Bath". There are big lines here sometimes, like on nice weekend days or anytime it gets above 35 or 40 Fahrenheit after it snows. They have a small overpriced little section inside where you can buy things like air fresheners and candy bars. Also you can watch TV, read the paper, and there is a play area for kids. read more

I am kicking myself! I have lived in Cary for over 15 years and this place has been here for a long time, but never went there until now. Kicking myself because the service was great! Heres what I liked about my visit: 1) Importantly, my car was cleaned and looked absolutely brand new, had a full detail done, and I am very pleased with the result. The full detail was a special they had that month, but the nice thing, they did not try to nickel and dime me with extras or try to upsell me with other goodies. 2) I needed to wait awhile since I was getting a full detail done, I opted to wait at the car wash. The facilities was spotless! The waiting area was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. They had complimentary coffee and also other refreshments for sale at very reasonable prices! 3) Staff was very friendly and seemed friendly to other patrons as well! Will be using this place for now on for all my car cleaning needs. Also a nice bonus, it is a locally owned business. Kudos to all! read more

I went to the Car Bath today because I've only heard good things...but I probably won't be going there again. The customer service was great, but the actual service itself was not. When I pulled up I informed the employee that I wanted "Bath 3" she asked if I wanted an air freshener I said yes and she asked what scent. After I got in my car there was no air freshener, the plastic on the doors inside my car were not even wiped down, there was still dust on my dashboard, and there was the lint from the towel all over my car making it look like it was not even washed. I made the mistake of being the last car in on a Friday. I have a full-sized SUV which, after finished, looked like a rushed job. The inside was vacuumed, but still very dirty. Dirt and smudges on the dash, seats, doors and plastic molding. While I was looking it over and questioning whether they cleaned it, the crew walked away telling me that they don't clean seats or doors or dashboards. I literally was left standing in the parking lot while they closed and locked their garage door and told me to come back tomorrow. The front door was locked and lights out. The manager/front desk cashier had already turned out lights and left when I walked out. I have never experienced worse customer service anywhere. Poor workmanship. Total lack of management. I don't know who owns this place, but I will definitely go out of my way to get a quality wash somewhere else. read more

This was the first time I've visited Cary car wash. They did a phenomenal job cleaning my car both inside and out as well as getting up my dog hair. I had explained to the owner that I was done with Fast Eddies's car wash because the last time I was there they didn't bother to vacuum at all (when I had brought that to the owners attention at Fast Eddie's his response was I should've checked it before I left). Not only did the owner here go out of his way to make sure my carpets were spotless from hair, he also gave me some tricks of the trade when I vacuum myself. Since it was my first time there, I asked the other patrons if the effort made on their cars was customary and they all said yes. This is by far the best car wash I've ever gotten. read more

As my previous review stated on my last trip to the cary car wash I had thing stolen from to vehicle. After the lady at the front desk assured me the owner would replace the stolen items this was not held true. Upon contacting the owner I was treated beyond rudely. She instantly exclaimed, "not my fault. The sign says take out valuables that is your fault." I am disgusted with the quality of service and customer support of this business. I fully understand I should have taken out my valuables and the sign does state that however the owner, Tammy was just plain rude and inconsiderate to me. I suggest everyone STAY AWAY from the cary car wash. After asking if I could view the tapes for myself which she assured me she saw nothing she told me no that it was her property. Got a simple exterior clean... simple turned into complicated... had important documents and equipment in my seat on the inside of car and somehow seat, documents and equipment get wet. Take car back and show them what happened and MGR Chris says it didn't happen from them! My seat and documents were not wet before I came here. Windows and sunroof closed but magically it's still not their fault. Goes so far as to grab cleaner solution and turn it upside down in car... and guess what the bottle starts leaking but still he sticks to his guns of something else must have happened. I garden and ride horses and often present these folks with a car that is covered with mud, mulch, straw (and worse, much worse) inside and out. They cheerfully do a great job, cleaning the mats, vacuuming into the nooks and crannies. Today they even went the extra mile by cleaning my headliner - a can of soda had exploded, leaving spots all over the ceiling of my car. I always get the "La Costa" wash (#3) and couldn't be happier. I've been here multiple times since they opened. I normally come here in the summer (they get busy on warm days so expect to wait) and they changed their name since then. It used to be called Bath House and now it's Wash Werks? I'm not sure if they have new owner, but that's not the point of this review. My car was absolutely filthy after this never ending winter. It was covered in salt and the inside wasn't any better than the outside. I asked for "Bath 3" and Piña Colada air freshener. I was happily surprised that the wait wasn't too long. I arrived around 3:40pm on a Monday and my car was sparkly clean within about 15-20 minutes. Was I happy? Yes. Was it perfectly clean? No. There were still few missed spots here and there, but if you saw how dirty my car was before you would be happy with their job too. They remembered to put in the piña colada fresher (its a little scented square that they place under your seats) and my car smells delicious. For some reason they sometimes forget to leave the air freshener in and trust me you'll know if they did. Overall I left happy and finally not embarrassed to be driving in a dirty car. read more

Yesterday I went to wash my car. They forgot to fold my miror and of course got very deep scratch from the first brush. I told the girl at the counter and she said they will take care of it and fix it when the owner comes to work. An hour later a manager calls me to bring the car so they can evaluate the damage. The detailing manager came and first told me that this is normal. I was like EXCUSE ME, I did not know that when you wash your car it is normal to get scratched. Ohh and then car is brand new. Then he tells me they will buff it, but the scratch is sooooo deep that is not possible. Then he puts the car back in the car wash and lines it with the first brush and BAM right on the scratch. So he agrees is the car wash and start pulling the car out. I went outside to wait for him. 5 min latter he calls me back in the car wash to tell me that is not the brush that caused the scratch. During those 5 min they moved the brush up and were playng games. IS THIS A CIRCUS OR A CAR WASH. Now I am waiting a call from the owner. See what happens. read more

Watch for false advertising! I called to make an appointment for a full detailing--their biggest most expensive package. The website listing shows a spring special that discounts this service $30. I also was going to add another upgrade, so this was going to be one of their most pricey services. When I asked Angie, the person who answered the phone, about scheduling this service and confirming the price, she told me that "the special was only for May". Note that there is no expiration date on the website. There is currently no special running, apparently, nor could she tell me if there was going to be one. When I said that I felt this was false advertising and that they should remove inactive offers, or at least post expiration dates, she didn't indicate any level or concern. I asked to speak to a manager, but she was not on duty and I could not find out when she would be available. I did not schedule this service, and I will look for another car detailing shop. read more
